It turned out that birth mother actually reached settlement back in the 90s from the hospital. I guess for negligence, pain and suffering in monthly pay out for 20yrs. Plus additional payout if the baby could be found alive and proven.

She said Gloria brought a baby one afternoon and she was happy and told her she was her baby. No doubt Gloria Williams was wrong but I am not just gonna support maximum punishment. I believe that 18yrs sentence was appropriate for her crime.

This is really a unique case. Just read updated article about biological mother(Shanara) interviewed by a British paper. She said she is being robbed the second time. She gave her stolen daughter ultimatum to choose btw her and her imposter mother because they still keep close contact. The woman still calls her from prison. She said she doesn't have to compete with kidnapper. So she wants authority to issue restraining order to Gloria from contacting her daughter. But authority said they have no control of that. Now she's losing hope. People are saying that's dangerous move bcus she will jeopardize her relationship with her daughter bcus the girl only knows her abductor as her mother and she still calls her mommy. Plus what made biological mother rage is that on mother's day last month, the girl gave imposter mother flowers etc. That's heartbreaking. She remains loyal to her kidnapper. She said she just want the woman away from her child 100%. That's not possible at this time unfortunately.

This comments below are funny. Gloria Williams was indeed wrong but God knows what would have happened if she was raised by her biological parents. Things happened for a reason that everyone doesn't know now, maybe later in the future. Her biological father even looks like a damn "ajegbo" (not judging).

Take a look at a case of 2 yr old baby kidnapped and killed by God knows who. Her mother (case Anthony) was potential culprit was exonerated after trial and her baby Caley got no justice till now. She would have been 12 now. So it is not easy for the 18 yr old girl to just let go of her abductor "mother" of 18 yrs whom she knew as her only mother. I felt for the Ms Williams when they said she was in an abusive relationship and had had a miscarriage around the time of the crime. It made me understand her motive.

Like you read my mind?. I didn't want to be forward so that you don't accused me of siding with her . Unfortunately she allowed that to cloud her judgement. That's why she kept saying "I don't know" when asked why she did that. What most women don't understand at young age when they pregnant either marriage or not is that, having baby with most guys in Western hemisphere doesn't keep a guy. They think they can hold a guy down by getting prego but it always turns out to be the other way. That seems to be her case. It looks like she was struggling to hold her marriage by stealing a baby in order to hold her husband due to miscarriages. This is what a comment said. But I can't be certain if this applies to her.

And then the girl who was kidnapped too, I saw her smiling and trying to make jokes but I know deep down she's not as happy. I'd recommend that she be closely monitored to prevent her from doing anything drastic to herself.

You remember the case of a woman who kidnapped a baby in 1998 in Florida and took her to her home state?. She's now sentence to maximum allowed by law. The baby is 19 yrs old now. Religion is complete is in the sense that no new things would be or can be added. You guys don't understand Islam. You don't understand faraid Islam. All the fard of Islam are intact. No one can bring a new thing. That's, no muslim would agree to a new form of salat, Ramadan, haj, zakat etc.


But when it comes to voluntary acts like doing dhikr and salaams on the prophet, there is no restriction so long as it is within confinement of shariah. Now go and read solati fatih I posted and tell us what's new?. Maybe you need to read old Tira and look for bunch of salawat there. It is called "isaamashitta". It is Tira awón agbalagba filled with solati ala nabiy(saw). Were they upon dolal?. You know better than them?



Throughout the history of Islam, there have been people who praised the prophet (saw) like Muhammad Busairi through his burda and salawat. Prophet didn't teach him that. Everything in his praises of him is confined within shariah.


So when Hadith says "Do Not Aggrandize me as Christians Aggrandized Jesus until they took him as object of worship " simply means don't call nabi Muhammad God or son of God. If you can avoid these, then praise him however you want. Form any salawat for him as much as you want. Solati Ibrahimiya is not static.

Sheikh Imran Hosein actually mentioned something to this effect and he answered your question. Like for instance real devoted servants. But we can at least agree at the minimum that they descend to bring barakat but it is understood they could do this without descending to earth.
