Yes, sheikh is right!

#As for the adad...what solat are you using ? Hope its solatil fathi ? So it depends.

#Yes I get FANAU, the awesome experience.

#As for JAWAHIR, I‘ve never heard of a translated copy before. I was even thinking of doing a translated copy myself. There is a lot in that book that language barrier is witholding from many, and some other books too like KASHIFUL BA‘S, KASHIFUL HIJAB, JAMI‘ SAGIR, etc
I see. I think that's where some misunderstandings might occurred leading to modern Muslims to believe there are nonsense in it. I have heard that it is being corrupted. That's what the brothers here use to criticize tijjaniya. I wish I could send you video clip to watch parts 1 2 3, 30 mins each and let me know your opinion.

Very very true...most oyinbo & jews today are riding on the blessings of prophet Ibrahim (as) & his prayers.
and Arabs too.

#As for jabbar, its actual name is DA‘WATU JABBARIYYA, the name & term JABBAR thunders through out the prayer. We used to do it before, its very good if you are looking for subjugating powers & supremacy. In short if you go through it you wouldnt want to do any prayer again. Those that combined its usage with YASIN are ruthless, that combo is a double edged sword. Its begining is something like...

اللهم انى اسالك بإسمك الجبار انت جبار الجبابرة خضع كل جبار عنيد لعظيم جبروتك

...but its a bit voluminous.
subhallah.....it is certain you know about it from the way you sound. See exactly how I described it in the other thread but the brothers don't understand. You sound just like my pop. He described the combination just as you did. No wonder the witches bowed.

#As for SAEFI, it belongs to sayyadina ALI (ra) taught to him by the holy prophet (saw). That one too is also fiery like YASIN, very energy sapping.
this one I don't think I ever heard of it. Maybe if I can get the spelling right I should know

According to eyewitness account, after receiving several Bulala, they started throwing him up without catching him whenever he's coming down. The guy died 5days later while receiving treatment.
This is sad. He could simply charged to court nau. Why all this. Afterall, politicians do worse than this but they flexed their muscles on unarmed citizens. shaking my head

I almost fell victim as well one day. My sister bought me a knicker which happened to be their camouflage. As for abduljabar, back then my mum used to buy prime people/vintage people magazines, so we used to read about him then. He eventually got duped, they wanted to sell him a mirage ship, N66 million then during babangida‘s regime. They collected all his money & disappeared. At the end he drove his rolls royce to the barbeach fell on the hood & died there in the open.
Yes, i heard about ship thing but i dont know thevdetails of it. All i heard was "his name disappeared in his presence on a ship". Dont know if that was meant to me parable. How i wish i can recognize his face. But i recognise his voice. He used to say Allah is sitting on his side. Nabi(SAW) is sitting the side. Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali (ra) are sitting in front of him. grin and we cant see them. Those alfas was just looking at him like "bro, you are a lot sheep of israel" grin grin

Do you know him?. He said no. I tried my best to give him clue but he said he has no idea who he was (which suggests to me that he is a kid perhaps born in the 90s or late 80s). Bid'a is a very complex topic.
I have a question about using counting rosary (tesuba) being classified a bid'a because the holy prophet (saw) did not use it. Can someone please shed more light on this? The reason why I am confused is that tesbih itself is not part of solat. So why should using the rosary to do tesbih be called bid'a. please help explain.
As for the idea that using masbaha is imitating kuffar is false. Masbaha was known those times. I dont even know why i am even involved in this. Even without daleel (proof), common sense says it all. There is no difference btw using masbaha and microphone for adhan. Both are not act of worship. So why condemn masbaha but they have no problem using mic to proclaim adhan? Another double standard right?

Anyways, it is very important to look into narrations in details when nabi(SAW) reproached something and when he is silent or approved the same thing in another narration. This is fiqh issue which means opinion varies widely on it. But to tag it bida'h is off. I use my fingers for small counts and i use tesuba when it is convenient for me.

This Is Question Asked By Someone WHo Think masbaha is Copied from Kuffar

Evidence about prayer-beads in Islam

It has been suggested by orientalists and by some Muslims reiterating their arguments that the use of prayer beads started in Hinduism and was carried over into Buddhism.

At the time of the Arab expansion, Afghanistan and western Persia were primarily Buddhist. The mystics of Islam and the mystics of Buddhism of course recognized each other, and thus the notion of counting prayers on a string of beads made its way westwards. The Christians got them from the "Saracens" (Turks, mostly) during the Crusades. However this view of the origin of the tasbih is incorrect:

Allah says in His Holy Book to His Holy Prophet, "Remind people, for reminding benefits them." The reminder of Muslims has various forms, public and private. A public form of this reminder is the adhan. The masbaha or subha or tasbih, or rosary, or prayer-beads, has had since the earliest companions the function of a private reminder. It is for that reason that the tasbih was called by them mudhakkira, "reminder."

The statement, often heard today, that counting dhikr on beads is an innovation, is mistaken. The use of beads for counting dhikr is a sunna attested by the sahih hadith of Saad ibn Abi Waqqas, who related that the Prophet, Peace be upon him, once saw a woman using some date stones or pebbles (nawan aw hasan), and did not prohibit her to use them. This hadith is found in Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nisa'i, Ibn Maja, Ibn Hibban, and Hakim. Dhahabi declared it sahih. Another sahih hadith to that effect was related by Safiyya, who was seen by the Prophet, Peace be upon him, counting "Subhan Allah" on four thousand date stones. This hadith is found in Tirmidhi, Hakim, and Tabarani, and was confirmed by Suyuti.

The Indian hadith scholar Zakariyya al-Khandlawi relates in his book "Stories of the Sahaba" that Abu Hurayrah said: "I recite istighfar (formula of asking forgiveness) 12,000 times daily" and that, according to his grandson, he had a piece of thread with 1,000 knots (or 2,000) and would not go to sleep until he had said Subhan Allah (Glory to God)on all of these knots. According to her granddaughter through Imam Hussayn, Sittna Fatima also used to count her dhikr on a thread with knots.

Mawlana Zakariyya continues, "It is well-known that many other companions of the Prophet, Peace be upon him, used beads in their private devotions, such as Saad ibn Abi Waqqas himself, Abu Safiah the slave of the Prophet, Abu Sa`d, Abu Darda', and Sittna Fatima, May Allah be pleased with them all. Stringing or not stringing the beads together does not make any difference."

It is also well-established that counting dhikr is a sunna of the Prophet, Peace be upon him. He himself advised his wives, Sayyidna cAli, and Sittna Fatima to count tasbih (subhan Allah), tahmid (al-hamdu lillah), and takbir (Allahu akbar) thirty-three times each before going to bed at night. Ibn `Amr relates that he saw the Prophet, Peace be upon him, count the times he said "Subhan Allah" on his hand.

Imam Suyuti recounted in one of his fatwas entitled "al-minha fi al-sibha" (The Profit Derived From Using a Rosary) the story of Ikrima, who asked his teacher `Umar al-Maliki about the rosary. `Umar answered him that he had also asked his teacher Hasan al-Basri about it and was told: "Something we have used at the beginning we are not desirous to leave at the end. I love to remember Allah with my heart, my hand, and my tongue." Suyuti comments: "And how should it be otherwise, when the rosary reminds one of Allah Most High, and a person seldom sees a rosary except he remembers Allah, which is among the greatest of its benefits. “The idea that the sibha comes from Buddhism or Christianity was one of the Hungarian scholar Ignaz Goldziher's (fl. 1897) legacies to orientalism.

Blessings and Peace on the Prophet, his Family, and his Companions

The reason why I am confused is that tesbih itself is not part of solat. So why should using the rosary to do tesbih be called bid'a. please help explain.
Salaam, I honestly avoided this bida thread bcus it is just one of the many irrelevant topics i see these days. As you rightly said, bid'ah is very complex topic. And all muslims past and present at some point have committed bid'ah. So i see this thread as pointing a finger at people but the rest of the fingers point right back at you. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

So you may have to ask for details of his narration above. We read in hadith about doing dhikr at maximum recorded to be 100 times. Like reciting subhanallah, Alhamdulilah, lailaha ilaAllah, Astagfullah etc 100 times. Be sincere to yourself, can you actually do this with your fingers without losing counts?.

There is also hadith where nabi(SAW) instructed his wives to recite tasbih 33 times each before sleeping. Can you do this when, in fact, you already half dosed?. The problem is, some people think they can be like sahaba. Sahaba have strength and are people of highest firasa (spiritual acumen) . How can you compare yourself with these people's levels?. So it is possible for some sahaba to recite tesbih without Masbaha. Those who could not do so with fingers used Masbaha. Even reciting subhanllah 33 times with focus, many of us today will still lose focus. You have the right to train your children to use their fingers to count up to 33 times each. There is no problems with that. But there are some dhikr you make in hundreds and thousands, there is no way you can count them with your fingers. What you need to ask now is, if using Masbaha (tesuba) is bid'ah, why is it now recognized by majority of muslims and muslim countries?. It is sold in Jeddah Saudi Arabia grin grin grin Go and tell those sellers it is bida'h, you will lose your head with it cheesy

See, those people that tagged it bida'h are lazy people. shocked shocked grin grin In the masjid i pray, they think just like op and co. They shout bid'ah all the time even though they believe in doing tasbih 33 times after fard salat. Not once i see them do tasbih(dhikr) after salat save once in a while. Once Imam says "salaam alaikum". They all stand up and leave 80% of the time. Yet, in the same masjid, Masbaha is sold grin grin grin

Why not condemn and send the woman packing for selling bid'ah?. Go to any masajid in USA, they have islamic bookstores inside them and they all sell Masbaha (tesuba). So these ones here dont understand perhaps. Why didnt Saudi ban it long time ago if it was bida'h and yet they are sold right under their nose?.

The thing is using it is private matter. Some silly people display it foolishly. Thank God the way i was raised. I use it where i pray and leave it right there. If i clutch it around, it is only in my room or compound. I dont display it foolishly and i dont condemn those who do so respectfully. I remember in 1998 when my brother was in Saudi Arabia, he met a Sheikh there and narrated his concern to him. The Sheikh advised him to do istighfar 70,000 times. Can you do this with your fingers?. The brother came from Saudi with a Masbaha of 1000 counts.

So stop wasting your time over petty thing. If you want to use it, fine.

There is a naflat called "Salatul Tasbih" in 4 rakat. You have to recite namaz certain amount. Tell me how you gonna do this with your fingers if tesuba is bid'ah?.

There is another masjid in NYC. In 2013 we did salatu tasbih. The Imams there also think like op and co. He used Masbaha throughout 4 rakat. Dont you think you wasting your time with double standard idea?

How will someone support Assad? All the participants in the war are all guilty. If you believe America and the rebels are only to be blamed, then sure you must see the hypocrisy in that? We definitely can't say for certain Assad didn't release the chemicals, we can't say categorically he did, no side can be trusted. I mean he isn't innocent, he is a major part of the problem. And if you support Assad please don't mention me. I didn't bother reading all the previous post.

If you feel Assad is innocent or can be trusted and you make excuses for him, You are a part of the problem. Not the solution.

People are dying
Honestly, if anyone wants to condemn Assad and support the rebels simply for killing his own people, that's lame excuse. which govt in this world haven't killed its own people?. So my argument is not whether Assad killed his people or not. It is simply not possible to deal with rebels without innocent lives pay the price. When Western invaders killed iraqis, they always made up excuses that al-kaida used them as "human shield". Israel claimed the same when it attacked civilians in Gaza, Russia claimed the same when it attacked Georgia, Nigeria claimed the same with boko halal. The least is endless. So why is Assad's exceptional?. My only disagreement with Assad is "rules of engagement" when it comes to civilians. The same thing all other countries are guilty of.

But Assad going after rebels backed by foreign govts in his country, he has every right to kick the fvckers. No govts want rebels to take over. Imagine if same thing is happening in the US, do you think Trump would just fold his arm and watch them?. Take "occupywallstreet" for example. They were not even armed yet they were crushed by police.

So my argument is rebels funded by foreign govts in Syria to rebel against a govt is wrong. Saying that is wrong doesn't mean supporting Assad 100%. Also you seem to doubt whether he used chemical or not. Western media boldly said he did which i found to be false. At least you appear to take precautions unlike our brothers giving 100% support for the rebels while at the same time condeming another rebels(boko) in nigeria. That's hypocrisy.

This is why i said Saudi, Qatar and Turkey are very wrong to praise US airstrikes on Syrian immediately after it was announced Assad used chemical weapons. No investigation conducted. Nothing. Then i wonder if their approach was islamic?. Whether Assad is kafir or not is irrelevant. What matters here is he is the leader of the country. But some people differ with me, then, i wonder why they condemn people like SHeikh Faisal (UK), many salafist jihadist (US), Anjem(UK) for trying to engage govt in the land they live. Remember Saudi condemned Sheikh Faisal back then. They now they supporting rebels but cant support their muslim brothers in Palestine?. That's my problem.

No chemical weapons used the first report few yrs ago or last week. Both are false. They have their agenda fro saying that. If Qatar had the chance it could bombed Syria by now just as it did in Libya.

Lols @ running naked in the market, wetin remain again ? Lets just say the jinn wanted him mad but he didnt want to do it directly lols...if I here say the man agreed to that condition lols. All in the name of procuring power.
from what I understand he didn't achieve what he wanted. Jinn took him for a ride. He got what he deserved. He wanted short cut after being advised against it. He was given dua and to be steadfast on it and dhikr but he complained he could not recite to much of yasin, khutba, jabaru (isimi awon alfa agba: oruko olohun). But my dad it and was successful. He lives in that today. That's lifetime benefit if one can do it.

There is one man like that here, someone close to him told me that, the man claimed he had totally lost hope in the mercy of God & he had accept his destiny like that. This man, just because of an anthill he worships, bought a whole street, built houses on it with no one occupying any. A huge black cobra (jinn) resides in the anthill, they have made this man commited so much abominations that he had lost hope totally. This man during abacha‘s era slaughtered a leopard in the middle of the market @ broad day light while everyone watch.
chai, jinn really put him to shame. This is why I said earlier that using jinn (especially) bad ones are obvious. There is always strange behavior. But if it is otherwise such Muslim should be 'takfireed'. His affairs should be left btw him and his Lord..

Do you know of one abdul jabar in Lag in the 90s ? @LadunaI did you here about him ? & prof. S. M B. Olohundare also @ Lag. ?
that's right. Know him. Used to run his mouth. Heard his wealth all disappeared with his eyes wide open grin

What yr did he die?. I used to listen to him on the radio and sometimes watched him on tv. But I don't recognize his face anymore. Before he died he was silenced by Allah despite a-lived. I though as much he was in that jinn network telling him all sorts of boolshits...lols

Achieving such feat is still very feasible. Some people pray for it, some are born with such power. I know some people with such capabilities, infact I know a sheikh whom @ the sight of his photo, the jinns melt. Lols someone like emekaRaj when he becomes fullyblown will ride the jinns like horses. Lol

#That hadith, if genuine is rather incomplete or out of context:

What Sulaiman requested in that prayer of his is in respect to the impostor, that no one should have access to his throne other than him not that God shouldnt subdue the air, birds, jinns to anyother person/prophet except him. How could he have made such arrogant request ? What about those that the jinns were made subservient to before him ? Are not the mountains & birds made subservient to his dad also ? Or do we say the jinns are not made subservient to the holy prophet (saw) when his prophethood encompasses those of the previous prophets ? The verse that preceeded that his verse of request points to the fact as to where his request was headed.

#As for prophet Ibrahim (as), those mufassiruna that use to make ridiculous tafsirs are to blame for such interpretations. How can one say God ordered an angel to rescue a prophet & you tell us that the prophet rejected such order claiming that same God suffices when God only acts through agency or will the throne of God come down to put off the fire because of tawwakul ? and they went on to say God commanded the fire to turn to coolness & what is that again ? Help through coolness (another agent), so what are we to understand here ? That he rejected an agent to accept another agent while hiding behind “God is sufficient“ like seriously ?

Look @ how they made a highranking prophet to appear to be playing hide & seek with God.

Whether we accept God as the real actor or not, help from him to us will always come through agency. He had already stated in Q42:51 that he does not interact with his creatures unless through agency, there must be a veil between.
I kuku understand what you meant here. They don't. This is they point where sufis and salafis have issues of disagreement, and this is aqeeda issue. I have pondered over it several times too. They have to understand that mufasiruna are humans. Either (only) wrote what they understood or deliberately chose to waterdown any attempt to suggest there is intermidiary. This is Quran and Allah knows what He reveals. How is it possible for anymore to claim to understand everything in it and about it. No way.

Quran is beyond all humans intellect combined.

@emp.iree,

The issue of akudaya, abiku, incarnation are real but not in the sense many people presume.

My mum was an abiku, she was born 7 good times by her mum before she finally stayed. But the truth of the matter is that most of these stunts are performed by the qareen of humans & the resident jinns. My grandmum used a burning wood to make an imprint on my mums left leg the second time she died @ infancy in order to identify her if she returns on the next birth. Of course she did return with the mark in all her subsequent returns until her final demise @ adulthood. She told us the story herself. There was a story of a boy also in Lag whom a certain hatimi was imprinted on his shoulderblade by his parents also for identification purposes & he did returned with it.

What happens during abiku/incarnation is when God uses the same qareen for several individual which is usually a norm, as such majority of traits are maintained. Also when one of such individual tunes into the realm of his qareen, he or she will feel the vibes of a past life, it depends on ability & how strong the connection is.

As for akuda, its just the mischievious practices of the imars. The akuda is just a vessel (body) & no true human. These jinn take the form of a deceased in order to live the life of a human. They are always aware when someone who knows “them“ approaches, they disappear or go to another location. That was why God in Q38:34 refered to the impostor of Sulaiman as a jasad (a common body) only & refused to acknowledge him as the human the people took him for: So its not the ruh of the dead person that occupies the new body but that of the jinn.

Yes, God does tranform wicked & devilish people to lesser creatures as told in the Quran where some people were reduced to apes for disobedience.
Subhannallah. Look how you gave some details. The verse you cited @bold, many would normally read over mechanically without in dept meaning. This is why I love people of tassawuf. There is a lot beyond human compression faah. Thanks

In another word, akuda thing is jinn network.
