But what Old Testament prophets of Israel envisioned HAS PREVAILED, as the GOOD NEWS of RECONCILIATION, between a Most Holy God & sin-prone mankind, has COVERED the earth as waters cover the sea. And that's why your interesting questions arise.

Jesus of Nazareth is the LIVING Word of God, beyond physical or spiritual destruction, Genesis 1:1-3. In Him dwells the FULLNESS of God BODILY. I wanted you to catch this from all my posts above.
The Bible is the WRITTEN Word of God. That's why when you people burn as many as you can, you've not touched the LIVING Word. And we just publish more WRITTEN copies, which the devil cites anyhow, presuming he has it all figured out.

You forget these are histories and the nation in question know and have some of these as part of it handed down by their ancestors!!!

For a book that is outrightly condemned by Christians, and not in the Bible, but praised by a large cross-section of muslims (before the contradictions against Islam in it were discovered,) this is a discrepancy that has nothing to do with the Bible.

We should rather wonder why the wide acceptance by muslims without knowing its contents! This smacks off desperation.

It denies the Messiah being Jesus, do you believe that? There are better ways to seek for truth! Holding on to a book like this for ANY reason reflects badly on those who do so.

Mention them and what/how the RSV claims to correct. I dont normally quote your Quran nor copy and paste from web since I dont know much except for the ones gleaned from NL; however, the Bible and its origin, the battles for truth and the miraculous preservation is not your (or any NL muslims') forte hence I would not that we waste time on that!

Because the fraud it is is manifest to Christians and Muslims alike. Besides, Barnabas' gospel is not the Bible. A 'gospel' that commences calling itself the "Gospel of Jesus the Christ" and goes further to say Jesus was not the Messiah is a re-definition of the word fraud! The liar that forged the book did not know Christ meant Messiah!

Go understudy the book and what some of your ustadh are saying about it before you fight for it!

The 70 scholars that produced the King James Version (KJV), did a great job. But the KJV isn't the first translation from Hebrew. The Septuagint, is a Greek translation of the Old Testament, produced 300 years before Christ, in which Joshua son of Nun was rendered as Jesus. That's how the name Jesus dominated Greek civilizations of Europe, & thus worldwide.
All translations MUST refer to existing Scriptures, & there were many. And the PURPOSE of translators is always to make the contexts understandable to its generation. KJV is still the best.
Besides, there's always the Hebrew Scriptures to compare with.

jesus is the son of God. If barnabas gospel was hidden, I don't think we will be discussing about it now. their are many hadith that are no longer in the internet anymore. Were are they ? Why are they remove ? Because muslims scholars believe , the hadith contradict the quran. Same way the gospel of barnabas contradict the bible.

My take is that the thread is based on the lies and propaganda of a notorious al taquiya expert who specialises in twisting the bible to bring it down to the level of the quoran whilst watering down or justifying the numerous evil verses in the quoran. Yusuf Adepoju the promoter of ACADIP has zero credibility so claims made by him can never be taken seriously cause he is a pathological liar.

Islamic law does not recognise monarchy. They believe the most learned/senior imam should be their leader and this is the problem the saudi royal family has. A lot of muslim fundermentalist are against the ruling house and monarchical system of govt and that is why the Saudi government is the most brutal in the whole world against islamic extremist. Any dissenting voice is labelled as a terrorist and beheaded by the saudi govt and trust me they, kill hundreds of their citizens every year under this guise thus islamic terrorism is sufficiently kept in check there. In reality it's all about self preservation rather than fighting islamic terrorism.
