Entire Muslim world, Arabs are not left out. All of them bend one way or the other to greet.

If we are to take these ahadith you quoted solitary and authentically, it means white people or western world follow the sunnah better than Muslims?.

Interesting. This brother, DeathStroke007, needs to listen to this. He opened a thread about this before. In fact, the brother's lengthy argument in the second video is superb. It is abhorrent in this day and age where respect is lost to issue fatwa condemning bowing to parents and elderly. I like his argument where he analysed the difference btw Jews and Christians of old bowing down (a form of worship) deplored by Quran in Sura 9:31 and bowing in form of respect paramount in Nigeria. That breaks the back bone of lopsided fatwas.

He said, in Nigeria environment, bowing down is NEVER considered act of worship. The difference is, the Jews and Christians mentioned in the Quran only bowed down to their priests and Rabbis not other people like parents and elderly. They specifically devoted their admiration to priests and Rabbis. That is what Quran condemns. It is rather literal interpretation of "sujud" mentioned in the Quran to attribute that to "bowing" to elders as we know it. I cant shake my parents' hands...NEVER.

Worship is bowing down your forehead touching the ground. That's what constitutes shirk. And it is funny how he said someone tried to fist bump Sheik Adam(ra)

3. Poorly reinforced floor slab.

How is it going to be rectified now or the whole concrete will have to obliterated first ?.

You are right but these little things have impact in youngsters mentality. It does sounds like innocent idea but pending implications may cost the parents and community in a long run. A for ATM is a breading ground for future robbers...lol.

I have a young Spanish girl in my neighborhood, she grew up with "M for Money". As she grows, she gives herself "go get money". Her father calls her by that till now but he runs away when she comes around for money grin

. She has been asking for money from parents and family and friends and even unknown people since she was 5. When she turned teenager, she's known (till today) as "go get money". Her parents encouraged this innocent idea but could not think of future consequences. Her phone number is filled with older men with $$$ signs next to their numbers. I asked her few years ago what those signs mean?. She said those are her buddies. "If this doesn't give me money, that will give me money". I asked her if she sleep with them?. She said not like that. She calls them "uncle".

She still has them on her phone now but keeps them at the minimum. Shes now adult and has a baby. Her parents could not afford her at all. She demands money a lot. Her boyfriend separated from her due to excess demands. Her exceptions are so high. But if she finds someone who gives her money constantly, she holds on to such person tightly.

Some parents are of the mindset that they own the air you breath and want to control everything you do. We learn to cut the umbilical cord with the least damage. Huum, deep thought of yours. That nonsense MUST STOP. It is God-given for children to exercise their rights. And some of this parents are hypocrites. They marry multiple wives. Do bad with tops wive(s). But the last ones, they are treated like Queens. The foolish parents to go to any length to blackmail children of their tops wives (or wife) and their mothers too. But you will never hear from them anything about younger wives. They hide their secrets and expose yours. The best thing is, stay far away from them. And if you have means, send money to their account and call only once in awhile for a very brief conversation.

Hello all.

I'm in trouble! 3 weeks ago I ordered 6 security doors from muyesky and the delivery deadline is this morning. Unfortunately muyesky ran into a domestic hold-up and he is 2 days behind on the job. The problem is I gotta go back home to Canada and resume work on Friday night. I may loose my job if don't show up.

The second problem is I will have to pay at least USD500 to change my plane tickets if my boss agree to my plead.

I understand that muyesky did not plan to hurt me in any way but I'm in a mess right now. What should I do? I'm in naija just to see these doors install, doing the this behind me means USD1500 down the drain, not to talk of my salary loss I was out of work.

Remember a friend of mine i was telling you about months ago?.

That his dad spent his money on women instead of building his house?

Here is the latest. Let me know if he made mistake. I was part of his advisers though.

What happened is, he said he's unable to convince his dad to give up docs in his possession.

His dad see it as insult for asking him for his house docs. (u know how some old men with greedy mentality behave)

So he arranged with local construction workers, they surveyed the house and gave him quote to complete 2nd fl to lintel

The job commenced this Tuesday. The following day, trouble started.

It looks like there are local "solomakinde" in the area.

They hinted his dad that people are working on his son's site.

He quickly showed up there, questioned them and all that.

He was not satisfied. So on Thursday morning, he went to police precinct to have them arrested.

While at the station, my friend was hinted early 4AM NY time.

He called up his dad to back off, that he ordered the agents to work at the site.

That was the conversation and he hanged up.

Folks, I mean some family members criticized my friend first, that at least, he should let his father know and take his docs from him to officially relinquish the project. Understandably, they had to conclude that it is his house at the end of the day. He can do whatever he wants.

His dad is upset and angry. My friend does not give a fig leaf either. The thing is, since the project was abandoned September last yr, his dad never talked about it anymore. He's only talking about getting 3m for "biz". This is why he had to proceed. He see his dad as obstacle.

Obviously, his dad understood his son's move. It is a clear message to "get off my site" without saying a word to him. Some people still blaming my friend despite knowing he owns his place. My friend manages 3 houses in NY. How the heck nija people behave like he's not capable of handling his project back home by himself. I am speechless.

His dad didn't even know my friend already built a 3 bedroom somewhere in just 3 months. I honestly have to conclude that his father is a big obstacle. I told him before the next project (roofing or fencing), he should write a notarized letter and give it to supervisor in case his dad calls police again.

When we say we worship the same God, this is in reference to the fact that there is ONLY ONE Creator regardless of who you call upon.

The same statement applies to other religions.

For instance,

a Christian prays to Jesus to forgive him and make him rich

a Sango worshiper prays to his 'baba' to forgive him and make him rich

an Elebo prays to Esu to forgive him and make him rich

a Hindu prays to shiva, Radha and Krishna etc

If their prayers are answered, our belief as Muslims is, it is [size=15pt]NOT[/size] any of those people they called upon that answered their prayers or provides for them. It is God Almighty, Allah who answered their prayers even though they thought they called on God. And God can answer anyone's prayer regardless of his/her creed. It does not in any way proves they are on the right path. Why would God not answer others' prayers?. He Alone is the Creator. If he answers Muslims prayer just because we are the only Ummah truly worshiping Him, that would be corruption and discrimination. Allah is not unjust. He said in the Quran that He would readily give non-muslims their needs and sustenance as well, but their eternal punishment is reserved until the Day of Judgement.

One of the Names of Allah is Al-Mujib i:e The Responsive, The Answerer

Allah Almighty is close and He listens to our prayers:

"When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way." (The Noble Quran, 2:186)

"......then ask forgiveness of Him, and turn to Him (in repentance): for my Lord is (always) near, ready to answer." [Sūrah Hūd: 61]

This describes my point:

"Say "It is Allah that delivereth you from these and all (other) distresses: and yet ye worship false gods!" [Sūrah al-An`ām: 64]

Allah provides sustenance to all of humankind, whether they are believers or non-believers, and all of His creations including animals and plants. As Allah says in Surah Hud verse 6:

“And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision, and He knows its place of dwelling and place of storage. All is in a clear register.”

So from the concept above, it is clear that there is only One God who forgives and provides for everyone regardless of who we are. If you invoke Jesus, Sango, Obatala, Esu, Shiva etc. None of these people you associated with Allah answers your prayers. It is Only One God who does.

But when it comes to act of worship, you chant Jesus, holy spirit etc, from that perspective, no, we do not worship same God, understand?.

Mister Scholar8200, you keep drum beating "Gospel Of Barnabas" that I didnt even quote for once. I have told you severally that it is no different from other Gospels. That we only deduce from it like we do others. So what's your fuss about "All the efforts to squeeze in Islam/Mohammed into Bible is similar to what the forger of the failed 'gospel of Barnabas'"?. This shows clearly that you have made endless efforts to convince us of your christian doctrines.

Moreso, you failed to tell us why you have various bibles and why there are missing passages from some Bible versions. This is just one of the many discrepancies that Quran alleges.

I see clearly no reason to debate further as you have no genuine counterclaims. Sincere readers and truth seekers can see holes in your doctrine. At this point, i see no reason to even challenge some of your claims up there. My posts, i believe, are clear enough. I do not claim to 'no it all' as you alleged.

Finally, there is NO mystery who God Almighty is. It is clear as daylight from Quran and Bible that God Is One. But if we see other verses of the Bible conflicting Tawheed, then, it is to be thrown in the garbage bin. When the Bible says God is One and some other passages of the same Bible talk about trinity or that Jesus and Holy Ghost are also God, this is called discrepancy, very problematic. And you tell us we can not understand. It is just a mystery. God is not author of confusion.

All Praise and Thanks Due To One God, Allah. The Only Creator, The Unique, The Everlasting, The Living, The Beginning, The End. He has No Partners, No Consult, To Him Alone We Worship.

Yea, it is. But I have no problem with it though. Quiet understandable. There are similar statements like that in ahadith. One example:

Prophet(SAW) said:

“Adhere to my sunnah and the sunnah of the rightly — guided successors after me. Hold on to it and cling to it stubbornly.”

See underlined, Rosul and Caliphs were present according to this hadith. This means it is future statement. He was addressing Muslims - later generations.

"When my Companions are mentioned then refrain." (Tabarani). He was addressing us (my understanding).
