Lanceslot: You're lucky they're yet to activate it for you.... Just wait small, u go surprise how #100 go take dey disappear for ur acct. Balance.

Thank you my bro! This is very true, I called their lousy customer care last week and raked fire and brimestone on them for actually deducting 100 naira from my balance for no reason at all. I don't just get it why they would constantly want to force their customers to take services and promos that they are offering when the customers just want to live a peaceful life with them. Is it by force!!!

When the regulatory body would not do their jobs, these lousy foreigners would come here and be ripping us off our hard earned money.
NCC; this is a call to Duty for you guys, Nigerians are actually suffering this menace from these telecom firms especially MTN

Sparkle777: does this also occur in expectin mothers esp when the hubby is the wicked nasty type?what is the best route to take if you re already stressed even befor puttin to bed?

Now that you have this valuable knowledge, you should be better prepared. just try to relax yourself, take things easy and just do your best and leave the rest for God to help you. As for your Husband STOP calling him "the wicked nasty type" your word are very powerful if you are a xtain, you would understand what I m saying. Instead keep confessing good things about him and mean it in your heart even if its obvious he is the opposite, with time he would begin to become what you say he is.
Health / Re: The Dangers Of Postpartum Depression by EmpNero003(m): 9:50am On Oct 21, 2013
tnature: I just read about a 35-year-old nursing mother who committed suicide few hours after dedicating her 3-months-old baby. The only reasonable explanation for such an act is Postpartum Depression, also known as postnatal depression. According to the report, the woman's husband noticed the signs of depression but it never occurred to him that she could take her life.

I was saddened by the news, so I decided to write this post to raise awareness, especially among the African community.

About 80% of new moms experience the "baby blues" in the first couple of weeks after childbirth, which are caused by hormonal changes that takes place in a woman's body after the birth of a child. Symptoms include irritability, crying spells, mood swings, trouble sleeping and sadness. These conditions are generally not serious and fades away quickly.

However, some moms experience a more severe, long-lasting form of these feelings known as Postpartum Depression. In addition to the symptoms mentioned earlier, it can also result in feeling of guilt or shame, withdrawal from friends and family, lack of joy, and difficulty bonding with the baby. It is usually treated by counseling and medication, but exercising, eating well, and getting enough rest can also help.

In rare cases, a woman may experience a severe form of depression known as Postpartum Psychosis. This condition is characterized by hallucinations, paranoia, irrational thoughts, and being a danger to oneself and the baby. This is an emergency that requires immediate medical attention because it can get worse and put the mother or others in danger.

It is important to understand that Postpartum Depression isn't a character flaw or a weakness. These changes can be caused by hormonal changes that occur after pregnancy. Any woman can get postpartum depression in the months after childbirth, stillbirth, or miscarriage.

Partners, friends, and family - your support during the first few months after pregnancy will go a long way to reduce the occurrence of Postpartum Depression.

Do you know anyone who has experienced Postpartum Depression? Please describe the experience and share tips on how to deal with the condition.

Thanks OP, I now know what was wrong with my wife after our first child in July! Thank God for helping us through it. I noticed her behaviors were kinda caustic and I tried helping with most domestic activities before my mum came. But at some point I must confess, I also got angry and cautioned her, I guess that was when she calmed down. If we had known this then, it would have helped better. Thanks for the educative information.

Business / Re: Cleaning Services Managers: Lets Share Experiences. by EmpNero003(m): 1:34pm On Oct 02, 2013
Afrocatalyst: Come in if you run a cleaning service business so we can share ideas and learn from each other. The business lacks a lot of technical know how, especially those in naija.

Ok,let me start with dis very dynamic issue. I see a lot of cleaning service companies use acid to wash terrazzo floors and tiles, which they buy from battery chargers. Is it really d best option or just making use of the available? Let's talk folks..

Discovered that the Active Harpic can be used on Tiles instead of those acids. But must be applied with a brush and left to soak for a while.

IMAGE DAMAGING ALLEGATIONS FROM UK - The recent and undue but persistent allegation or claims from the UK on issues involving Nigeria or Nigerian Citizens even those involved in criminal acts is beginning to seem like an intentional plot to completely ruin the already agreed sore image of the Nigerian state.

First was the "Ibori Oando Shares Claim", I agree Ibori has been proven guilty in many quarters and he is already serving his jail sentence. Any further incrimination or subsequent confiscation of properties of this person should be duly proven and done legally.
Do you know Oando Shares fell immediately after that claim, a claim that was later retracted.... here's an excerpt from the story...

"The judge, Anthony Pitts, trying to save the situation, said: “The prosecution did not suggest that Mr. Ibori owned 30 per cent of Oando.”

Relying on the sudden turn and retraction from the prosecution and confirmed by the judge, Krolic said: “It appears that there are those that are involved with the media that have concluded that Mr. Ibori had 30 per cent of Oando. If, in fact, my learned friend (referring to the crown prosecutor), Sasha Wass, did not say or mean that, the media should be corrected.”

Second was the White widow in Nigeria Claim last week...

Samantha Lewthwaite, the British widow known as “White Widow” accused of masterminding the despicable terrorist attack on Kenyan shopping mall which killed about 60 people was in Nigeria and evaded detection, according to a report in the Daily Mirror, UK-based newspaper.

According to the newspaper, “In Nigeria, where police forces are notoriously corrupt, there were reports that she (Lewthwaite) was almost caught a while ago, but she bribed her way out of trouble.”

the Nigerian Police in this case been further ridiculed. My questions are:

-Where in Nigeria was she sighted?
-When was that?
-What was she here for: Holiday, terror group meetings or who is/are her contact(s)?
-Who were the Police officers that collected the bribe?
-What is the veracity of their claims i.e. who is their source, and what is the authenticity of that source?

I hope they won't later retract their statement after the damage has been done.

The painful aspect is that our leaders are not responding to these atrocious or damaging claims from the UK or the UK press. Somebody needs to be tamed and somebody in our leadership should take up that responsibility - either it is the minister for information or whoever......

These image damage is becoming unwarranted, we know and agree we have our national issues, if they can't assist or pro fer solutions or way out, they should leave us to sort ourselves out. angry
