God bless you my brother. I know of a certain hotel owned by a popular politician. The hotel sells a bottle of coke #700 and I am like, so with my 17k/month salary as a guard I should go there and buy a bottle of coke #700? Me enriching the already wealthy? We no dey get sense for this country.

For issue of school fees,one always have the option of deferring a semester or two to go hustle out his/her school fees. I recall a mechanical engineering student of Unizik some years back, who had to leave school for a while because of finances to go work full-time at the construction site of Davis Suite(Hotel) in New Haven Enugu when it was being built and the next compound to mine back then. This guy lived on site with other artisans throughout the construction of the hotel and we became friends. He went back to school to finish and he is presently working for Forchbahn AG, a railway company in Zurich, Switzerland.

People have their own stories and have made tough decisions.

Well, we all have our different ways in approaching issues. He worked as a labourer in a construction site, in the last 2years+, I've worked as a security guard in a hotel sleeping outside and opening gate from morning till the following morning just to be able to meet ends need. We have all suffered in this country and we have stories to tell. On the issue of deferring, I'm already 28 and deferring anything is against my time...NYSC.

That's what many so called rich Nigerian students abroad do to pay school fees. Over 95% of Nigerian students in the UK, US, etc work day and night to survive.

I wonder why we can't replicate same over here.

If we check the debt now, it might not even be up to 100k while others are wallowing in wealth and affluence. This country is unfair seriously.

You guys should read here. Case of suicide over debt that just happened this evening. And when others take a bold step to solicit for help, those who can't even donate a kobo will take the lead on throwing jibes at already depressed person. SMH!
