I was in NNC the other day. Saw some of these nairaland cadets. Just never get time for them. Lol
They are doing well. Not bad. And their confidence level is rising. I can attest to that when they talk. They are still confused but the confusion is getting down. The job intensity has quite gone down.
Some were dismissed on health ground. Such a pity but God knows best.
I wish them super luck. |

Popularity: UNIZIK UNIZIK UNIZIK! IMPORTANT NOTICE The university that u can not run your Masters degree program in less than 4years. No thesis approval unless you are done with course work. Thesis proposal defense are usually conducted once or twice in a year and for the first-five students to submit their work despite numerous number and others will be waiting till next and upper years. No enough facilities for P.G studies, To them postgraduate students are expected to be rich before starting their program ( however, their undergraduate program is good) but I will never encourage anyone to seek admission into their P.G school. So, how was i able to do my masters in less than 23 months? I am confused by your accusation. All departments are not same. Dont generalise |

Gentlemen, Zero your mind Even the weakest of you can survive the training. The only thing is this : That weakness will be drained from you for strenght to shine. You will ground your skulls... Some funny scales and flesh will appear on skulls...dont worry, its normal. Dont ever be last in anything. Just be at the center. Do everything with ya mates. Better to serve a blanket job than a personal job. Be smart, know all your coursemates name. You have the first 24 to 36 hours to cram the names of all the officers at NNC. You might suffer if you dont. Some of you who are not used to running might limp in the first 1-2 weeks due to muscle strain, but dont worry.. The more you run, the more your thighs get used to it. Make sure you are always neat and nicely turned out. The deputy Commandant doesnt tolerate shitty turnouts. Make timing... Timing will buy you jobs shaa.. You cant help it because once one of you defaults, all of you will suffer it, afterall, What is our Motto? Anybody tell me? Gentlemen, the journey is interesting. No matter what, let that Pip that you will hang after training be your motivation. I am hanging mine! A Golden knot on my shoulders! And you need to see how beautiful i look in it Why not work to hang yours tomorrow? Goodluck! |

zhirkov: Sir, We were asked to come with the original copy of our duly completed form.
During the screening exercise, the original of thesame form was retrieved from us.
should I just go with the photocopy? Or go ahead to the DPO, Chairman, Guarantor e.t.c to resign it? Go with the photocopy... Like you have a choice? Photocopy can do i suppose considering your explanation. You are good to go. |

I am happy to announce that I have been commissioned into the Nigerian Navy. I thank and glorify God for this gift. I appreciate my seniors Sir tenderlaw and Sir pijay who as busy as they were found time to guide and advice us in this forum. I know I took my disturbance and curiosity to whatsapp to bug Sir pijay and you know what? He replied all my messages even the clownish messages. God bless you Sirs.
It's a new beginning and I implore God's guidance in this chosen career.
To the ones aspiring to join us soon. I can only wish you God's luck. |

tenderlaw: 1. The first two months is purely serving of job. No classes. After that it becomes job plus classes. Coming tops just helps in d final analysis for prize giving on POP day. After that it doesn't mean shiit. 2. Flogging has been abolished even in NDA, but pple still do it behind closed doors. Who do you report to? They will even kick your pot while you are warming it, so guard up bro. 3. The white shorts will be your normal dressing. Pls DON'T put belt. Elastic is allowed. 4. It is not your right to go on pass or liberty. Once you enter just zero your mind. If they give you fine. If they don't, fine. 5. At d sole discretion of the commandant. You will us those whites at least 4 months. 6. No number is excess. Some will come with a dozen, and I assure you it will not be too much. 7. Your allawee starts entering from d third month. Not full salary, just a stipend. |

tenderlaw: 1. Provisions are allowed, but abeg don't go with d whole supermarket. 2. About d slippers, I won't spoil d fun. You'll find out when you get there. 3. Don't get caught with any drugs. If you fall sick, there is a clinic which you need permission to attend. 4. Wallets and ATM are allowed, but you will only need it when they start giving you liberty...at least after a minimum of 3 months. It may be more. 5. Take your swimming trunks. They will teach everybody afresh. 6. Endurance race is not immediately. It will come much later. It is about 14Km. 7. Planting of head/warming your pot/dooming it/flying it/capsizing/sitting on your kpari will never stop. Zero your mind and prepare for bruises on your scalp. Don't worry, a time will come that no matter how long you do it, no bruises will come. You can even fall asleep on your head. 8. I have answered already. Personal drugs are prohibited. |
