Liberty101:is Buhari's tenure over? |
ShowYourCertificate:FOREIGN RESERVE SINCE 1999 OBJ: INHERITED $3.7b in 1999 LEFT $45.0b in 2007 YAR ADUA: INHERITED $45.0b 2007 GREW TO $63b in 2008 drew from the reserve to boost the economy during the 2008/ 2009 recession and LEFT $47.7 2009 as at the time GEJ took over the mantle the growth was as a result of savings when oil price was $147 per barrel and he took out of it to shore up the economy when oil price dropped. GEJ: INHERITED $47.7b BUT LEFT $29.2b. from this I hope well meaning Nigerian can see that unlike during the previous administrations that had enough reserve from which the were able to boost the economy, GEJ left barely nothing from which buhari could get fund to bust the economy. NB Yar Adua withdrew about $15b to shore up the economy and still left more than he met on ground but if Buhari is to draw out such money from our reserve today, Nigeria could be bought by dangote. if you don't know how the economy works, ask questions. |

this is the same man that Ekiti parrot said was not fit to rule Nigeria now he has prove them wrong and they have turn again to say his travelling is too much. the man whose mother wears pampass has since been cutting kpomo, roaming the streets like a frustrated good for nothing he goat. a slap on the people of Ekiti, a supposed city of professors. what an irony? |
Liberty101:go and get that paper and read it again. the publisher just used that caption to sell his paper. Buhari was never quoted (" " as making such statement. Nigerian youths don't read paper yet they want to be leaders, the old ones will continue to lead until the youths are ready. whenever you read what someone is purported to have said in a news paper, focus your attention on areas where u have quotation mark " ". the exact word of the person is usually inside the two marks, anything outside the marks is the publisher's view or contribution or ingredients to spice up the news and make his sales. |
dondaddycares:the man never promised to make #1=$1, he only express his dissatisfaction with the trend at which the dollar rides the naira. if you don't know d different between caption and what a man is quoted to have said in a news paper, go and ask those who know it to tell you. |
olayinkajnr:if you are talking about Kaduna then u are right. |
olayinkajnr:C8 is above 36k, as at yesterday when the dollar hovers between #385 and #400, C8 was 38k from wholesalers while retailers sold between 39k and 40k. the list you could get it as at yesterday was #38500. as at today that the dollar is between 367 and 385, C8 was sold for 37k(wholesale) and between 37500 and 38500(retail). |
Smartlife:if you have 38,500 come to computer village tomorrow and I will take you to where you will buy C8, a company well known, in fact, one of the top four companies in computer village Lagos. u will hold your money pay to cashier yourself and collect your phone. as for whether the company is real, it is a company known by many and you don't need anyone to tell you when you see the building or the name. |
banio:probably you didn't read through or better still you difficulty to comprehend. |
tuniski:you should have known that any political party in Nigeria that can't secure two of the north, East and western Nigeria is going no where in term of presidential post. by the choice of sheriff, PDP has lost already |
they are scared of the make in Nigeria goods campaign. unfortunately no going back, Nigerian will face this once and for all. the government will continue to come up with policies that restrict goods that can be produce in Nigeria so that the local producers can raise, talking about oil is of little important to us now, they can go ahead and dump our oil, we give up on that already. |
jealousy everywhere. when una been de dance awilo those days una no remember d song no get meaning abi? and for those who have choose to tie everything to the dollar rate, be prepared to cry more because it will take a while before the trend reverse. people are still getting job while others are building houses and buying cars. if exchange rate like make e go 1000 per dollar my house must be completed and my car will comde home safely. |
steppin:at times what sparks up attraction goes beyond being fresh. |
listening to hear what Ekiti parrot will say of the man's age. |
PDP has not realised its mistake that led to its failure in the last presidential election. politics is a game of number but very few in the society have the power to stir the entire population towards certain direction. Jonathan started failing not basically at the exposure of his low performance but at the time when he became desperate not minding that those few people who have the power to stir the entire population were watching. even though some of them took his bribe but it was cleared to them that something was wrong with Jonathan's desperation so they became uncomfortable with it. the same way, PDP has gone to pick SAS believing that he has all the crook method they will need to unsit buhari come 2019 but unfortunately, this desperation is too glaring. despite his knowledge of the political route, the stain on his hands is obvious, he would have been better as godfather just like Jagaban to Buhari. |
this is the most stupid post I have ever read on nairaland. is not only Nigerians that celebrate this girl, the Indians tag her the most lucky model ever, CNN rejoice with her, UK is not left out and this guy come here to put up this organise pieces of junks. |
you are doing your best Mr president. I pray that God will vindicate you soon. within the shore of Nigeria especially on issues that are within your control/resource such as bokoharam, internal revenue generation, inculcating the culture of sit up by government agencie, you have done well. the issue of worsening naira against dollar is to any reasonable individuals beyond your immediate control as there is no foreign reserve to do that which any president should have done at a time like this. however, #istandwithbuhari. FOREIGN RESERVE SINCE 1999 OBJ: INHERITED $3.7b in 1999 LEFT $45.0b in 2007 YAR ADUA: INHERITED $45.0b 2007 GREW TO $63b in 2008 drew from the reserve to boost the economy during the 2008/ 2009 recession and LEFT $47.7 2009 as at the time GEJ took over the mantle the growth was as a result of savings when oil price was $147 per barrel and he took out of it to shore up the economy when oil price dropped. naijaboy756:copying is allowed in as much as it answers the issue at hand, it is called research findings, you can only blame him for not acknowledging his source. if you think you got all the brain, oya prove him wrong and let see |
HtwoOw:GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL GENERATIONS THAT WILL COME OUT OF YOU. |
chukwudi44:you forgot that his decision to let buhari go, change the whole game. in addition to that, he was not selfish with his choice of VP when he was given the slot, he choose a candidate that added value both in number and experience to what buhari had at hand and eventually, GEJ was kicked out. |
[quote author=espn post=43085819]stop twisting facts.. show us a post where they claimed to have put the TSA on hold because of its immediate implication on the economy..Please provide a link to ur claim[/quote'. SAYING MY MIND. the guy is just trying to cook up stories to defend GEJ. at times when one reads comments by our youths and supposed graduates, one begins to wonder if actually the elders are d one preventing the youths from taking the mantle of leadership our the youths themselves. one of my lecturer back at nekede the, Mr. Nwachukwu will always advice that as a graduate, you don't assume things or say something you have no basic fact about because you may just be called to defend what u just said. |
why are they telling us lies then? they should have known we are in 21st century. |
jidxin:does the one captured look like life lion or dead one? degrading your country at any slight opportunity park your things go Kenya now. mtcheeew |
some set of people are just known for criminality. in the course of this war against corruption, different people from different region have been docked at one time or the other while some people have blame their sons for doing that which is wrong, certain set of people have continue to queue behind criminals, I am beginning to loose respect for both their youths and the elders as well. how do we get the nation back to its track if we continue like this? |
New Nigeria activated. one of the reason why dollar is scarce is that many of our yam eaters have withdrawn their money(naira) and are now exchanging them to dollar at all cost to be easily hiding in their houses as the bank is no longer safe for them to hide money. With the sincerity in the operation of BVN, it only take a click of button and all your transactions from generation to generation will be exposed. |
as much as I blame GEJ for not doing much for Nigeria and his people, I really hate this development. RIP |
HARDBUOI:he is taking it just as OJUKWU. |
this is your own valid MTN website abi? |
joeprince23:I heard how brave Ojukwu was that made him to go on exile. I think while the abokis are busy selling their cow meat, the IPOD youths have been interest only in the cow brain these days. |
abeg make this man no spoil our easy victory come 2019, why must he say it now? |
