M series is what you need now sir. M5,M3,M2,M3 mini,M2 mini.... I'd advice you to get M3 mini instead of M3.

It did, but nothing changed. This is exactly how I did it: At +EMGR=1,7,"123456789098765" (the two comma and quotation marks were also included in that order. No space) then SEND AT COMMAND. The thing was sent, I rebooted and checked the IMEI, and there was the original IMEI still sitting there and steering at me, it refused to leave :-/

And you're sure the command 1,7 was done on phone 1?
