Exactly This day 2 years ago On Sunday, the 22nd of June, at exactly 1:00PM, Nairaland's server was hacked The hacker deleted everything in the server, including the backups which was kept in a separate disk on the same server.

The Nairaland Team were able to recovered 8 years and 10 months of data out of the 9 years and 3 months of data that was lost, from a remote backup.

Thank God all was not lost i cant even imagine how seun would have felt. I think it's worth celeberating 2 years after.
