Whatsapp first hinted it would let users make free calls to each other early last year.

And it now seems the hugely popular messaging app has started rolling out the feature to a select number of users, according to Dailymail UKreport.

A screenshot, posted to Reddit at the weekend, reveals how the Calls tool looks on a Nexus 5 device running Android Lollipop.
In the image, a new tab has been added that shows 'Calls', in addition to the existing 'Chats' and 'Contacts' options.
Users can then open the Calls tab, select a contact and make a voice call using an internet connection.
This is similar to how Skype connects web-based calls, a service known as 'voice over internet protocol' or VoIP.
In December, Dutch site AndroidWorld uncovered clues about Whatsapp's voice calling feature while studying the app's test code.

Expert Sander Tuit then extracted layout files, images and text from the raw code to create a series of mock-up screenshots.
The latest grab was posted to Reddit by user pradnesh07, although it has since been removed because it contained personal details.

TMZ has obtained Wayne's
lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money, in which Wayne is asking a judge to end his contract with the label.

Additionally, Wayne is suing Birdman for a total of $51 million, as well as the rights to take Drake and Nicki Minaj with him.
According to TMZ , if Lil Wayne
does indeed leave Cash Money, he wants to bring the entire Young Money Entertainment roster with
him, which includes Drake and Nicki Minaj.
The entire roster features the likes of Gudda Gudda, Jae Millz, Mack Maine, Lil Twist, Tyga, and more, though Cash Money
handles distribution for all of the artists.

Speaking with HipHop World Magazine in an exclusive interview, ‘Reminisce’ has urged fans to drop the appellation stuck on anyone who raps in native language as ‘indigenous rappers.’


According to him, such does not speak well on them because he said there is nothing called indigenous rap.

Indigenous rap continues to come to the fore over the years as the Nigerian music industry is witnessing an acceptance of artistes who put out songs in their native languages. These rappers often deliver their punchlines to the delight of their fans.
“Stop calling us indigenous rappers, there is nothing like that. A rapper is a rapper, calling myself, Phyno, Olamide, Seriki, BaseOne, Lil Keshand couple of others coming up local rapper is a way of suppressing or make us feel inferior because Sarkodie is a rapper and no one refers to him as indigenous rapper. If you cannot call him a local rapper, then don’t call any of us local or
indigenous rapper,”he said.

He further spoke on the endorsement deals coming to him.
“Over the years, we've been able to overturn the rap game, we've been able to change perceptionas regards if you cannot rap in English, you cannot be a rap god or king and it’s been a collective effort.

Mali is now free of Ebola, declared the country's health minister following 42 days of no new cases.


Health Minister Ousmane Kone said no new cases were registered since 6 December when the last Ebola-infected patient in the country recovered and left hospital.

"I declare this day... the end of the epidemic of the Ebola virus in Mali," he said in a statement broadcast on state television ORTM.
The country has now "come out" of the epidemic, said Ibrahima Soce Fall, country head, United Nations Mission for Ebola Emergency Response (UMEER).


Mali recorded its first case of Ebola in October, when a two-year-old from Guinea died from the disease.
Seven people lost their lives to Ebola in Mali.
The latest figures of new cases show a decline of the outbreak in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
Sierra Leone and Guinea both recorded the lowest weekly total of confirmed Ebola cases since August, according to UN figures.
Liberia, which reported no new cases on two days last week, had its lowest weekly total since June.
The overall death toll has reached 8,429 with 21,296 cases so far.

Before 2014 i often come across nairaland.com when surfing the internet but never really got a proper idea of what it was about then i never knew much about the internet nor what a forum was all about.

And then came june 2014 when i was searching for the most visited nigerian website and number one on the list was nairaland.
After that search i took time to study what nairaland was all about and after i got the idea i registered as a member in july.

It was agreed that because of the heat being generated by having muslim-muslim tickets and the possibility that it will cost APC the general and Presidential election, Osinbanjo who is a Christian should be nominated by Tinubu to hold the ticket on his behalf till after the election, and he will resign and allow Tinubu to take over and the dream of muslim-muslim ticket will be then achieved.

That also opens the way for introducing the Sharia law to replace the secular constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. When Rochas deployed this tactics by using his son-in-law to secure the Imo state governorship ticket under the APC and hand over to him after his failed bid to secure the presidential ticket, we thought it was a joke and a one off thing. What we didn't know was this was a well planned operation by APC to get their way by deceiving Nigerians.
