(Surprisingly I agree, cos we always expect good stuff from Ada, anderson and Arewa. Jeff however (in Teey mix's voice),is showing real growth and that might just do it for him (check season 3 chidinma).
Vocal dexterity *Anderson *jeff *pearl *Ada *Arewa *Kumi *Deinde (Agreed,(tho i think Pearl shouts sometimes and she sounds shrill))
Fan base *Ada *anderson *Arewa *Deinde *Jeff *pearl *kumi
(Given she had the highest number of votes, and has never been on Prob, but all that could change in one moment (season 7 Geoffrey, was on prob in the last nomination show)
Popularity in d house *Jeff *Arewa *ada *kumi *Anderson *pearl *Kumi
Dress sense *Jeff *arewa *pearl *deinde *Ada *kumi *Anderson
It might be the stylists Job,but I will place Arewa last.Deinde takes this one for me
After all being said and done, I think Jeff might win this.(And am #Team nobody),I will just be an observer this season.Maybe I will enjoy the show more
pearl360: Nice.... I didn't watch season 3 though, so I don't know Kesse. What about Christian, he wasn't a favorite for you? I liked him.
He was also good, but easily carried away by the crowd, and made him go flat/off key sometimes. In all season 7 was very entertaining.(Shola,Geoff,Clem,Chris etc)
pearl360: Clement was my favorite. But I think it's because he's Ghanaian maybe that was why he didn't get enough votes. Cos it seems the show is not well publicized over there.
I liked his voice and natural carriage(swag came easy and effortlessly to him),and he was very good with audience interaction, but I could only vote for one person,so I had to vote for Geoffrey all the way(cos Geoffrey was my best and clement next for me).I still await a Ghanian contestant that will match Kesse (season 3).Thats my opinion
Omolola1: Okay, comments from the judges and most especially the Faculty were exaggerated tonight I'm still wondering what exactly Ada did with the 'My Darling' song that made Mummy Joke Silva act all vocabulary on us Arewa did brilliantly with the first song, but the second? Naaahhh...she didn't do much justice to IfeWaGbona... Everyone is shouting Dehinde Melo Melo...Nigga didn't sing the song, he "talked" the song...Boring as far as I'm concerned. Pearl, I don't even want to go there..lovely voice and lovely face but just a waste of space...shoulda been Oluchi or Chike filling her space Kumi., oh well, she destroyed one of my favorite songs (her first performance) but I forgive her for doing so well with her second (call it comfort zone)
Finally, my Anderson killed, kelled, kilt, kelt and murdered both songs. The guy is just a musical genius. Really want to hear him sing Darey's 'Pray for me' on the Pfame stage. He is in a league of his own.
Only two people did it for me tonight. Anderson and Jeff.
Anderson is my winner and Jeff my 1st runner up. All others can come behind in this order: Arewa, Dehinde and Ada.
But oh well, may the best rigger win.
Spot on, Tho I think Jeff will shock everyone with the win (quote me)
gengen118: for me nicholas has the overall best voice in the history of mtn project fame west africa. that guy can sing.while mike's energy, no one can compete with him..
these link is one of the highlights of nicholas , for any one who wants to watch or u can jus go to youtube and type PROJECT FAME GOLDEN MOMENTS. there are many highlights there.
macklef: Sweetheart, u and i know it has a lot to do with being a superstar na. We dont want no oversized clothed niggar on our screens.
Superstar yes, winning project fame no.In my opinion Chike is eloquent, likable and maybe 'stylish', but based on his performances, I would rate Anderson and Jeff before him in singing,No hard feelings. Forget all this packaging in clothes, when you become a successful musician, you can always hire a stylist or better still keep being your unstylish self (its not as if all our top musicians dress well sef).
macklef: Lol. Take my second prophecy, that guy that be moving his hands like his leading a muslim Orchestra singing story of my life,, he would not win the competition despite the partiality.
Even if he doesn't win,i think he deserves a spot in d finals. To be fair, not every musician will sing up tempo songs.Every musician has his place
daxon001: season 1's Annete's-I'm coming up. Season 3's Kesse-ladies' night by cool n d gang.bet u didn't remember right?
Can't remember Annettes, but I can remember Kesse's,that day I thot he would break his legs. Thanks for the memories.....then I was really addicted to the show.I used to work weekends and I still remember calling in sick on a sunday, just not to miss the Sunday show.....when we were young....
Me too,i ain't feeling the show so much.am still looking forward to a STANDOUT performance (Like Geoffrey's Genesis,Olawale's-when I was ur man,Ayoola's Olufunmi inna Fela stylee,Monica's Only me,Kesse's Iya,Nicholas's u r beautiful,Vwede n Bola's u r d love of my life etc)
LaRochelle: My favourite performances of the night were Chike's and Jeff's. Chile was uber clear in his singing...and oh, my Jeff, it was beautiful. Which was your favourite performance of the night?
Everyone except Ada.I don't know whether it was the same perfomance me and Oga Bantu watched
AbuadStudent: You all should not complain again about Anderson's eviction! Why? Stay with me
Calm down, look at social media, try to estimate the number of people ranting about this anderson this, project fame that, now assuming they voted Anderson, would he have entered probation in the first place?
Lets go on.
the judges save people via their performances, probably 2 of the judges thought Kumi performed best at that particular time. To be fair, Kumi performed well and the song favored her. Anderson was unlucky to get that kind of song which reduced his performance level greatly, which inevitably favored kumi, +the outstanding fact that she is a ghanian, so all fingers were pointing to her, I'm sure now you can see that it was inevitable!
Stay with me.
The faculty save based on the performance and characters of aspirants in the Academy. If you follow, you would observe that jeff is very polite to them if yiu notice he always ends with "yes ma, yes sir with a significant bowing of his head", he takes to instructions, and he has a very good vocal sense. Still on that with his last performance he didn't deserve to be on probation, he definitely performed past anderson the last time. And due to his pained/broken leg, he still fought hard to perform on stage such that some viewers didn't even notice that he was in pain. Looking at all these any sane person at that point in time would pick jeff over anderson.
The contestants, this was clear..Gender prevailed, Joy won
So who is the real culprit? Its MTN, due to their greedyness they decided to put all contestants on probation in order to make fast cash for the running of the programme, but still if you are pained that anderson is gone, DID YOU VOTE HIM? IF YOU VOTED ANOTHER CONTESTANT YOU ARE JUST AS GREEDY AS MTN! #GBAM
I have been voting since season 3,but dis season, I decided not to.Let me just enjoy d show, and not have any favourites, perharps to make me objective in my analysis.Having said dat,i feel 'swag' has been scarce dis season, those who have it don't sing well(Deinde n Chike),IMO and dose than sing well don't have it(Anderson n Jeff).Ada n Arewa n maybe Oluchi r trying,ie dey maintain a good balance of singing/performance.I see Oluchi springing up a big surprise. As for Chike, its very obvious that he still has stage fright, which he almost conquers with his confidence n likeable personality, but it's getting to d stage where his lack of prior experience would show.Pearl to me is trying, there's something still missing n Deinde has not been convincing enough. Kumi,Hmmm all d best but I don't know how long she will keep on being saved.Having said all that,i strongly believe it's a woman's season to win.Ps I still miss Adora
OP na wa for you o.How does this book look like my watch in your eyes.I also saw the book in Obalende traffic, but I know this is not my watch. My watch is in 3 volumes and is published by Kachifo books
OP .Talent aside, Kevin hart and co have a team of writers hired to churn out jokes after jokes for them.some of these writers are comedians themselves.only got to know dat after reading sheldons novel about toby temple, cant remember the name now.For our Nigerian comedians, dis may not really be feasible cos of many factors eg d economy, intellectual theft etc.at d beginning of d career,he probably has time to research, observe and all that.later on he might not have dat kind of time, den start recycling jokes, stealing jokes, insulting his peers and of course tribal ish.I think they need to challenge and reinvent themselves
