Since the representatives of the people passed it into law with no opposition by the people they represent means there would've been an agreement between the people and their representatives, some states house of assemblies wanted to deliberate on it but the people rioted against it and it was not implemented.

Why are the states assemblies in the SE not deliberating on referendum for the people that elected them, if IPOB was that popular among the people, I'm sure it's the people that'd be doing everything in its power to make sure their houses of assemblies would be on it by now.
