Kuda experienced another scary glitch

Kuda, the neo bank that just rolled out its operations in Pakistan experienced a glitch this week, that made customers unable to see their account balance. Customers took to Twitter panicking that the deposits they made to their Kuda accounts had not been reflected.

This was particularly scary for customers because Kuda doesn't include account balances in email alerts sent to customers, which makes it extra difficult for them to track their spending with their balance. A software glitch on the app sometimes omits transactions that customers make and receive email alerts for, making tracing account balances on the app further unreliable.

This comes only months after customers were locked out of their accounts, with some accounts showing "deactivated." In a statement, the company apologised for the glitch saying it was working with its cloud service provider to fix it.
