Algerian international Farid El Melali who plays for French Ligue 1 outfit Angers, has been taken into police custody after he was caught masturbating in public for a second time in months.

El Melali was questioned by the authorities following a second complaint of indecent exposure, accusing him of two further flashing offences.

His lawyer told Ouest-France that El Melali has admitted to wrongdoing and “reiterates his most sincere apologies to the women he may have upset by his inappropriate behaviour.”

Justin Bieber has reacted to the sexual assault allegation made against him by a Twitter user identified simply as "Danielle".

The lady who tweeted from an anonymous account on Saturday night (June 20) which was taken down after Bieber publicly commented on allegation, claimed the incident took place at a hotel in Austin, Texas on March 9, 2014. She said she met Bieber while attending an event in Texas and claimed that she and her friends were invited back to the pop star's hotel where she was "sexually assaulted without consent." She however failed to give out the names of her friends.

Justin Bieber who denied the allegation by sharing news articles, social media photos, screenshots of emails and lodging receipts from the time in question, said he decided to gather facts to counter the allegation out of respect to so many victims who deal with sexual assault issues.

After the latest round of testing on Monday, the manager of Stoke City, Michael O'Neill has tested positive for COVID-19 .

A planned friendly match between Stoke and Manchester United which was to take place at the Carrington training base was dramatically cancelled at the last minute on Tuesday after they received the news.

If Manchester City’s two-year ban from the Champions League is upheld, Manchester United will be linked with a shocking moving for Raheem Sterling.

The UK government has announced that all non-essential retail stores will reopen on June 15 as part of plans to further ease the lock down measures.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday night disclosed this at the daily Downing Street press conference.

Shanghai Shenhua expect Odion Ighalo to return from his loan spell at Manchester United in time for the start of the new Chinese Super League season, which is scheduled to begin in July.

Manchester United are keen to extend Ighalo’s loan to cover the end of the Premier League season, the date of which remains unclear amid the coronavirus pandemic.

As it stands, Shanghai Shenhua will only allow Ighalo to remain at Old Trafford if it is on a permanent deal and the Chinese club value him upwards of £20m.

Japan's Olympic minister says the coronavirus outbreak could lead to the Tokyo Games being staged later in 2020.

Seiko Hashimoto's response to a question - that the contract to stage the Games states they have to take place in 2020 - in the upper house of parliament means the Olympics could be held later in the year and would not have to start on July 24 as planned. The Paralympics open on August 25.

Not minding the Coronavirus pandemic, the Government of Greece has announced that it will start letting in visitors into the country this summer, as Greece has always been a country that has welcomed tourists for the last 50 years, and wouldn't let that tradition stop because of the pandemic.

Greek tourism minister, Harry Theocharis, announcing the news said travelers will be welcome to visit Greece this summer but social distancing rules will be enforced to keep people safe from coronavirus.

His announcement comes after Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Tuesday restrictions on citizens’ movements would be lifted and more shops allowed to reopen from May 4 in a gradual easing of a lockdown imposed to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
