Fansa25:You are right. When a woman speaks, she actually means something else. A woman's word should not be taken literally. She is actually looking for a traditional man. But she wants to be a modern feminist. |
papyjaypaul:what they are feeding us today is to make men become women and women become men All these is heading to gender reassignment a.k.a transgender. If you keedp listening to them, you will start liking the idea of changing your gender. It is called programming. |

AccidentedCars:You are undermining the issue. You don't get it at all. How many Nigerian women will be satisfied with the basics? You think men will be complaining if that were the case? You must either be from another planet or you just want an argument. They want a prince charming that can sponsor an extravagant life style. |
She is a bad influence to society. Other girls will see her and start dressing like that. That's how it started. Will you advice your daughter to dress like that? So don't ask that question, what is your business. |

Every year on May 4th, fans across the world unite to celebrate one of the most beloved franchises in cinematic history. Known as Star Wars Day, the date plays on the iconic phrase, “May the Force be with you,” transforming it into the playful greeting: “May the Fourth be with you.” Origins of the Celebration The roots of May the Fourth trace back not to Hollywood, but to politics. On May 4, 1979, a British newspaper congratulated Margaret Thatcher on becoming Prime Minister with an ad that read, “May the Fourth Be with You, Maggie.” While the phrase was a clever pun, it wasn’t immediately linked to fan celebrations. It wasn’t until decades later, with the rise of internet culture and fan communities, that the date became firmly associated with Star Wars. By the early 2000s, fans began organizing events, screenings, and online tributes. Eventually, even Lucasfilm and Disney embraced the phenomenon, turning it into an officially recognized day of celebration. A Cultural Phenomenon What started as a niche joke has grown into a global event. On May 4th, you’ll find: Movie marathons featuring the Star Wars saga Fans dressed as characters like Darth Vader, Yoda, and Princess Leia Social media flooded with memes, quotes, and tributes Special merchandise releases and themed promotionsMajor landmarks and companies often join in too, lighting up buildings or launching limited-time campaigns inspired by the galaxy far, far away. The day gives fans a chance to reconnect with those ideas and share their enthusiasm with others. The Force Lives On In a world where trends come and go, May the Fourth stands out as a celebration built entirely by fans. erad:That's not true. How many of them have you met. You are generalizing. Your reasoning is called falacy of generalization. How did you arrive at that conclusion. Do you have the resources to conduct a survey all over the world or what? Be honest. |
RodgersAkpafu:Keep playing dumb. Guilty concience. |
lovediehatelive:The extent of immorality in this generation is appalling. Virginity is a basic requirement for marriage. Marriage is for disciplined people. That is why there is high rate of divorce these days, because people have relegated sound moral behaviors to the background. |
Powerbandooo:If your story is true, that is the exception and not the rule. Please stop supporting bad thing. |
Gbadugbakun:It is called high level GREED. You need to have that. |
marlow1962:I wish every man can see through these kind of women the way you do. They are very ungrateful. After everything he did for her, she could not even mention one. Men need to be wise or will lose badly because of relationship with these kind of women |
Dshocker:That was not facebook, it is youtube. |
Nobody is even talking about the high spate of sexual immorality. In this immoral generation, given the highly emotional nature of women, a woman in her 30s has a lot of body count and emotional bagagges which she will take out on any man that will marry her. So, any serious man will avoid her. Secondly, the commercialization of relationship by women and marriage by both women and tradition is another contributory factor. Marriage should be made more affordable. Thirdly, the ever worsening bad leadership in this country has ruined the economy in terms of high unemployment rate, high cost of doing business, high cost of housing, lack of support for businesses by government institutions etc. |
As Nigeria gradually inches toward the 2027 general elections, political tensions are already simmering—not just among candidates, but among their supporters. Recent exchanges between loyalists of Peter Obi and Omoyele Sowore have highlighted deep ideological divides within Nigeria’s opposition space, raising concerns about unity ahead of a crucial electoral cycle. Rising Political Friction The rivalry between the two camps did not emerge overnight. Both Obi and Sowore were presidential candidates in previous elections and have continued to position themselves as alternatives to Nigeria’s dominant political establishment. However, their approaches to opposition politics differ sharply. Sowore has repeatedly questioned Obi’s credibility as a genuine opposition figure, arguing that the former Anambra governor lacks the radical stance required to challenge entrenched political structures. These remarks have not gone unanswered. Members of Obi’s “Obidient” movement have pushed back strongly, insisting that Obi remains one of the most influential voices in Nigerian politics today. Social Media as a Battleground Much of the clash has played out online, where supporters from both sides frequently engage in heated debates. Platforms like X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and online forums have become arenas for political argument, ..... READ MORE: https://engagingworld.com/peter-obi-and-omoyele-sowore-supporters-clash

Former Governor of Anambra State and the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, has said he would declare war on terrorists and reject negotiation as a response to insecurity if elected president. Drawing on his record as Anambra State governor, he argued that decisive action can restore safety across Nigeria. Obi made the comments in an interview with Arise TV on Monday, during a discussion focused on the country’s worsening security situation, including the recent killing of Brigadier-General Oseni Braimah and several soldiers in a Boko Haram/ISWAP attack in Benisheikh, Borno State. “No nation will lose about 10 of its senior officers without a response. I will declare war on the terrorists. There is nothing like negotiation,” he said. Obi said the approach that worked in Anambra during his tenure as governor remained the template he would apply nationally. He recalled going directly to former President Olusegun Obasanjo to seek authority to act. “I had to come here and tell President Obasanjo, this is what I want to do and you must allow me to do it,” he said, adding that the results were verifiable. ALSO READ: How to Text a Girl for the First Time and Create Attraction He named former army commander, Jarrell Enenche, and the late security officials John Haruna and Commissioner Bello as witnesses to the outcomes. He cited a former Inspector-General of Police as confirmation that the strategy worked. “The IG, Abubakar, came and said for five years, we have not had issue of major robbery or kidnapping in Anambra State,” he added. Obi argued, however, that military force alone was insufficient and that the roots of today’s insecurity lay in decades of policy failure. “What you are seeing today is the cumulative effect of leadership failure over the years, erosion of governance, erosion of values, abandoning the youth, education, social trust, everything,” he said. ALSO READ: Getresponse Review in 2026: My Honest Opinion He outlined a two-track response: immediate decisive force combined with long-term institutional rebuilding. “You start building while you are pushing. You bring governance, justice, people are punished if they do the wrong thing,” he said. When the interviewer noted that he would need to become president to execute such plans, Obi did not dispute the point, pressing instead on the allies he would need and his commitment to front-line leadership. He named northern political figures, including former Kaduna governor Nasir el-Rufai and former Kano governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, among those he would work with, saying he intended to “be in the north.” He ended with a direct pledge on leadership style. “I am not going to lead from the back. People will see, they will feel it.” https://punchng.com/obi-vows-to-declare-war-on-terrorists-if-elected-president/

Manchester City are in the FA Cup semi-finals after thrashing Liverpool 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium today. Erling Haaland scored twice at the end of the first half, slotting in a penalty before nodding a cross into the corner. After the break, Antoine Semenyo chipped home before Haaland rattled in his hat-trick with a finish off the crossbar. Liverpool's Mohamed Salah saw his penalty saved by James Trafford on a very disappointing day for Arne Slot's side.

Bill Cosby has been ordered to pay his rape accuser Donna Motsinger more than $19 million in damages after a jury found he had drugged and sexually assaulted her more than 50 years ago. A California jury announced the $19.25 million judgment on Monday during its third day of deliberations, per the New York Times. Motsinger first filed her civil lawsuit against the “Cosby Show” alum in Los Angeles Superior Court in September 2023. She alleged that Cosby, now 88, sexually assaulted her after giving her wine and a pill that left her unconscious following one of his comedy shows in 1972. “She woke up in her house with all her clothes off, except her underwear on — no top, no bra, and no pants,” Motsinger’s lawyers alleged in court papers. “She knew she had been drugged and raped by Bill Cosby.” Cosby didn’t testify during the nearly two-week trial, and his lawyer Jennifer Bonjean insisted that the embattled comedian would appeal the jury’s decision. “I was obviously disappointed in the decision, but we believe we have a strong appeal and we’ll pursue that,” she said after the judgment was announced. Motsinger applauded the jury’s judgment. “It has been 54 years to get justice, and I know it’s not complete for the rest of the women, but I hope it helps them a little bit,” the former waitress said from outside the Santa Monica courthouse. Motsinger also called the $19 million in damages “icing on the cake” and emphasized how important it was that she was “believed” and Cosby “in some way has to be accountable for what he did to me.” The jury also awarded Motsinger punitive damages, per the Times, although how much has not yet been determined. Still, the $19.25 million judgment is believed to be a steep sum for the former “Fat Albert” star. During a deposition connected to Motsinger’s civil lawsuit last fall, Cosby claimed that he was struggling financially as a result of his meteoric fall from grace. “Due to allegations, whether they be newspaper, radio, television, magazines or just plain internet, I have not worked in about 10 years, or more,” he said at the time. “That means I have not earned a cent through my being an entertainer, a writer, a television performer, except in reruns, and my net worth has gone down like a submarine with no motor,” Cosby added. Monday’s judgment marks the second sexual assault lawsuit Cosby has lost in recent years. A Santa Monica civil jury previously found the comedian liable for sexually abusing another victim, Judy Huth, at the Playboy Mansion in 1975 when she was just 16 years old. He was ordered to pay Huth $500,000. Cosby also reached a $3.5 million settlement with accuser Andrea Constand in 2006 regarding her sexual assault allegations, as well as another settlement in 2019 with seven accusers who argued Cosby defamed them by branding their allegations lies. The former sitcom star was also convicted of aggravated indecent assault in 2018 for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting Constand in 2004. Although he was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison, he only served three before his conviction was overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 2021 due to a procedural issue regarding a previous prosecutor’s agreement. “I am deeply saddened by this verdict,” Cosby’s former rep, Andrew Wyatt, told Page Six in a statement in the wake of Monday’s $19 million judgment. “It sets a dangerous precedent to allow decade-old allegations, presented without evidence or proof, to stand.” He continued, “It appears public opinion was heavily manipulated against Mr. Cosby, making a fair trial nearly impossible. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. and Mrs. Cosby during this difficult time; they deserve to be enjoying their golden years in peace.” https://pagesix.com/2026/03/23/celebrity-news/bill-cosby-rape-accuser-donna-motsinger-awarded-19-million-in-civil-trial/
