I'm sorry I know this is not related to the thread,
To know the amount of gas left in the cylinder.
•Just wet the side of the cylinder with water.
•The top part will be dry after some minutes and the lower part with gas will remain wet.
•Stop shaking the gas cylinder to check if it is finished or not.
It is dangerous!
Plz share.

On the second week of October, 2017 I started feeling weak and that's the normal way I feel whenever I'm about to have malaria. I got a malaria drug Coartem to use and after some days, I felt relieved but didn't know the sickness was just about to start.
I began experiencing severe pain in my abdomen, waist, joints and getting tired from within. I ran a MSC test and showed Moderate growth of staph, I went to hospital for different injections and was also taking many different types of strong painkillers and sedatives. I knew I had to stop going to the hospital. I then decided to visit the internet where ''NAIRALAND'' popped up about staphyloccocus and then I began to read.

I was fascinated by Gawab using herbs to cure illness hospital will give drugs that cost hundreds of Naira, he had testimonies on his thread plus he was telling you the herbs combination to use for the ailment. I also was pleased to read testimony of Knowhowk thread. I then decided to contact Dr. Knowhowk, prior to this time I got in touch with Airface, but his drugs was only purging me with no result. I contacted him severally via mail, calls and sms but he never responded and I thought to myself, I have been duped I became skeptical about the Nairaland self-acclaimed 'Doctors'. I had wasted my hard earned money, I was sad, worried and perplexed. I decided to try again, I contacted another Nairaland self-acclaimed Doctor based in Bayelsa Successking401 but this time I was very cautious. He claimed he could cure it and gave two options:
a. I pay NGN50,000 and delivers the drugs or 'mixture'
b. I cures me but with sign an agreement with my layers and I pay NGN150,000
.
It sounded fair enough but after been swindled by Airface, I like the confident and aggressiveness in which Successking401 was marketing or advertising his products or mixtures, my concern was, he has never gotten any testimony about the efficacy of his products or 'mixture'. Like the saying goes,'Once beaten twice shy'.

I then opted for Dr. Knowhowk, upon contacting him. He told me of how he suffered the same illness and has been free from staphylococcus for 5 years and has developed a cure for it. Alas! I have seen someone that actually suffered from the illness and got cured. I immediately contacted him via whatsapp. I was bombarded with screen shots of testimonies of people he had cured. I was not comfortable with that, it raised a red flag for me. I immediately did a google and nairaland search of him. I was not just comfortable with after CVE90 used his 'concotions' and did not see any result. Nija90 can tell you more.
At this point, I was frustrated, worried and depressed, my daily thoughts consisted of “How can this be?” “What did I do to deserve this?” and so on because being in pain was painful not to talk of money I have spent. Time was running out and I did not have cash on me. Each day the pain became so severe, and the tiredness so overwhelming that I could hardly get out of bed. The pain and tiredness became so debilitating that my work suffered. If you have suffered with any of these health conditions or similar ones, you will understand the extreme pain and discomfort I was in. In order to cope with the depression and anxiety.

On January 3, 2018 at about 11:21pm, I read this article https://www.nairaland.com/4268583/staphylococcus-aureus-cure-read. Lo and Behold, I was happy because she just drove pass my path and immediately contacted her. She offered to help with the drugs with her own cash once she collected her salary for the following month so as to testify to the potency of the drugs. My heart was filled with joy, because gnss was God sent.
Two months has passed and I did not hear from her, I knew this was another one chance.

At this juncture, I could no longer bear it anymore, because in the local parlance ''All die na die'', I contacted Gwabs, but I observe one thing he kept on pestering me to order now, and we began to negotiate price, I thought to myself, ''do doctors negotiate their drugs?''. After purchasing the drugs, taking it as prescribed for two weeks. I went for the test but the result showed that his drugs did not work and I informed him, he then said,'' drink my urine for the next 7 days''. angry angry. and that was when it dawn on me that all the self acclaimed doctors on Nairaland are BUSINESS MEN and nothing more

To cut the long story short, I never believed I could see today 11th May 2018.Many are experiencing of what I experienced, despite not being holy, he kept me through.

EducationRe: 10 Reasons Why School Is A Waste Of Time by engwari(f): 1:23pm On Mar 22, 2018
Disclosure: I am for education and learning so, let us get that out of the way now.

I see a that it is currently trendy at the moment to go abroad and do Masters and Doctorate degrees amongst Nigerians. Nothing wrong with this. However, what is not being mentioned on discussed enough are the costs, the job prospects and general commercialisation of education.

Cost wise: From £10k (~4.5mNaira) for school fees only. Then you have the additional cost of accomodation and living cost of another 2-3M Naira
Job Prospects: Jobs or good job are hard to come buy in Nigeria and chances of staying in say UK after expiration of visa can be difficult at times.

Back home, these degrees are very common now so employer can afford to do shakara and offer questionable wages.
Chances of securing a job in the country of which said degree was obtained is just as competitive too and many may be left frustrated.
Commercialisation of education: Whilst I was doing my 1st degree, I worked in one prestigious university in London (UAL). It was the Cambridge equivalent for Arts and Fashion. Now, I noted that the entry requirements for international students were lower than those of Home students. (this was a response by the university to the government making home student pay less for fees)

In my observation, some of the students could hardly communicate in English and needed translator to aid their written grammar etc. I asked one of the lecturers why and he said the university needed the money hence why things were downgraded etc.If you fast forward to now, it appears that most universities have accepted this model and hence why lots of courses are being offered to developing countries etc. One have to really question the whole set up. But as they say, any degree is a degree, right?

In the past, I have seen first hand a few people who have travelled abroad to spend and average of 5 - 6 million naira to obtain MSc but end up home broke and diversifying into fashion or something else. I wonder if these people would do things differently if hands of time were...drawn or pulled back?

In conclusion, majority of people going to spend massive amount of money on these degrees abroad should think twice about their aim and 5 years ahead. By all means educate your mind as it is wonderful but be realistic in your approach.

PS
Again, this is not an attack on anyone but an attempt to get us to discuss the financial implications, the realistic job prospects etc. If you aren't worried about these then sure, the world is your oyster.

Please, I went for urine culture test and it showed positive for Staph Aureas and Sensitivity showed Ciprotab. The lab scientists advised me against Augmentin because being a higher antibiotic the bacteria might develop resistance which might be dangerous.
1. Is the dosage of Cipro I took, good enough?
2. What's the best antibiotic for Staph?
3. How is it best prevented? Is there any preventive drugs one can take periodically to prevent it??
4. I read of the drugs Hipprex, Urex and Cranberries. are they readily available??

Thanks for the answers. Herbal product or English?

I hate injections, guys have any of you tried herbal? Is it safe to use?

Dr Maduka C Ogwueleka (MBBS, MRCPUK) has come out to clear us on why Staphylococcus aureus diagnosis is a scam in Nigeria.

According to the UK based physician, staphylococcus causing low sperm count is a scam in Nigeria’s medical world, there is no such disease.

He explained that Staphylococcus aureus organisms are ubiquitous and can be found all over our bodies including our skin and as such can contaminate swabs and give you a wrong result.

“Don’t take antibiotics for this scam diagnosis. If I take any sample from your body, it will be contaminated with staphylococcus aureus.

This diagnosis is a huge scam in Nigeria’s medical industry used in extorting money from our ignorant population.

Everybody (you and I) will always test positive to staphylococcus on tissues. If I take a swab from your urethra/joystick, it will come back testing positive for staphylococcus because staphylococcus is everywhere on our bodies/skins as they are part of our body’s natural flora. The swab will almost always be contaminated by staphylococcus.

If you have skin infection or pneumonia caused by staphylococcus – this is a different ball game and antibiotics are required.

If you have a low sperm count, see an endocrinologist and a urologist to investigate it NOT a laboratory technician or scientist. It is much more complex than you may think” he said

He continued:

“I WILL KEEP REPOSTING THIS UNTIL IT SINKS IN!

STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS SCAM IN NIGERIA:

Staphylococcus aureus is a type of bacteria found normally in the nose, respiratory (breathing) tract and on the skin.

Because these bacteria are on our skin, when taking a swab (high vaginal swab for example), chances are that you may brush through the skin and get the swab contaminated by staphylococcus aureus. Now, when that swab is sent to the laboratory for culture it will grow staphylococcus aureus. This does not mean that you are infected with staphylococcus aureus requiring treatment of any kind.

We are all carrying staphylococcus aureus around. It does not mean we are infected or unwell needing treatment.

Staphylococcus aureus is not transmitted sexually neither is it a sexually transmitted disease.

Staphylococcus aureus does not caused infertility (male or female), impotence or premature ejaculation.

Staphylococcus aureus does not cause weak erection of the joystick.

Staphylococcus aureus does not cause waist pain.

Staphylococcus aureus does not move like worms all over the body.

Staphylococcus aureus is not contacted via toilet seats.

Nigerian scammers attribute staphylococcus aureus to almost every disease in a standard medical textbook. This is wrong and these scammers should be named and shamed.

However, staphylococcus aureus can cause some nasty infections such as skin infections in the form of abscesses, cellulitis, impetigo, folliculitis and toxic epidermal necrolysis. Staphylococcus aureus can also cause food poisoning, breast infections, endocarditis (heart infection), osteomyelitis (bone infection), pneumonia (lung infection) and blood infection. But in these causes the infected persons won’t be walking around, having sex/fun and smiling. They’ll be terribly unwell and in intensive care unit somethings.”

Dr Maduka C Ogwueleka (MBBS, MRCPUK).

Am a witness to what this doctor is saying. I was diagnosed with staph auerus. i went to fmc only to my greatest imagination for my young doctor to talk sense into me that it is a normal flora growth in the mucus membrane of every human. but could become opportunistic and cause infections when they overcome the natural protective mechanisms of the body or when the immune system is weakened. He discouraged me from buying or taking any antibiotics. Do you know before now what all these trado medicicine practitioners do. they flex you of your hard earned money to earn a living. Some would so they are specialist in Staph treatment only. Last week Wednesday, a lady entered one chance car and was dispossessed of all that was with her. They drove her to an unknown location, collected her ATM card and demanded for the pin which she gave them for fear of her life. They didn't release her yet. They held her while one of them drove to the town to withdraw through ATM machine. They threatened her that if the pin she gave is wrong, that will be the end of her life.

The one that went to withdraw the money met a very long queue. He cunningly went to an innocent man on the queue and begged him to help him withdraw. He gave the innocent man the stolen ATM CARD and the pin and stood off where he is sure the bank camera doesn't cover. The innocent ignorant man thought he was helping someone but never knew he was exposing himself to crime. He withdrew his own and then withdrew for the one chance man too and gave him the money.

Immediately the one chance man came back to his group, they now freed the lady and disappeared into thin air.

The next day, the lady went to her bank to report the incident and to block her ATM card. Her Bank sent email to the bank where I work because our Bank ATM machine was used to make the withdrawal, requesting that we should send them the cctv footage of the person that made the withdrawal. My bank sent the footage to them and the account details of the innocent man that made the withdrawals because the innocent man has account with us. That was how an innocent man was trailed, traced and arrested while no picture of the kidnapper was captured anywhere. Now I'm wondering how on earth he will convince SARS operatives that he only helped a stranger to make withdrawal. Remember, the place on the queue where the one chance man gave him the card has no CCTV coverage because the kidnapper made sure he wasn't covered by camera.

Please friends, when you are in the ATM queue and a stranger approaches you with his card to help him make withdrawal, please don't ever try it. You don't know whether it is a stolen card and the person is trying to avoid the CCTV cameras. Some of them use pregnant women so that you will pity them or aged men so that you will pity them or fake Corp members who will come with the excuse that he is rushing for CDS or whatever. Don't ever withdraw money for anyone. Let everyone make his or her own withdrawal. Don't allow yourself to be the Face of a crime you know nothing about.

Be Guided!

Thank you!
