I suggested ETORO's copytrading
Lol. Nah I disagree. Copy trading, options, binary options etc. Nah. Those activities make profits and losses based on market fluctuations, not because the company or commodity in question has become more profitable or useful. And as we all know, market fluctuations are totally unpredictable. So no I don't think we should go in those directions.

Rather, I prefer we cross-examine companies that actually become more profitable by generating more value e.g a lending platform that becomes more profitable by having more money to lend to people AND THAT AT lower interest rates. (And those lower interest rates might provide some with the critical cash they need to launch new ventures and do stuff that will ultimately make them richer and able to pay loans back quicker.) So cross-examining such companies is the direction that I suggest that we go in.

That's my suggestion.

With Anyanso Mma TheMap matter unfolding, the current voicemail ..., perhaps we get back to the starting line.

You'll know in running (track and field event), when there is a false start, they blow 'whistle', and restart the race.
Co investors, let's kickstart the thread again.

Yes I agree. Let's start over. I hope everyone that invested in themap gets their money back, but in the interim let's return to the starting line and start over, and this time with more experience and more appetite for due diligence. There are many non-agritech crowdfunding firms out there that we can start cross-examining. So let's go.

#2m? Yours can even be swallowed with a bitter pill, though very painful.

Bro, I invested fortunes in that fraudster"s scam called crmi.
Let him just refund me a third of my money and I'll count my loses and move on.

Though i saw the signs but i let the gambler part of me get the most outta me.

Kudos to you on your resolve in sounding the Alarm bells, also i only can hope that themap.ng finds a quick solution towards these issues confronting them and that we make better decisions next time deviod of sentiments and emotions.

No wahala. We live to succeed at other investments. In fact one of the reasons why I was that persistent in ringing the alarm bells was that I had also lost money to crypto before during the bull market of late 2018. So I sabi how ee dey pain. But pick up yourself from the dust and you will recover all you have lost soon enough.

Please, continue laughing. It's like some of you get orgasmic whenever other people are facing challenges. If you cannot help in putting out a fire, it will be highly irresponsible to add petrol to said fire. If you cannot add soothing balm to a wound, don't apply an irritant. Just because people didn't accept your "expert" advice doesn't give you the right to lord it over them, or taunt them.
And before you post a holier than thou retort about me being bitter and emotional because I have lost money - I have never, and will probably never invest in themap. Always show emphaty at all times. You are in no way better than those who are agitated and feeling down right now.
- I have never claimed to be an expert. If I claimed to be or believed that I was an expert, I wouldn't have suggested and agreed with folks like MummyIMadeIt, Pepchizy, Acidosis, benedictuyi etc to create this thread so as to pool our knowledge and experiences and use that to make better investment decisions.
- I refuse to trade words with you. Enough said.

All I can do is to laugh. At least when the dust settles, we will return to reasonably reviewing and investing in companies. Hehehe.

As for anyone that loses money, take your L, move on, and never make this kind of mistake again. Investing is a marathon, not a sprint, and while it's best to learn from data, research and advice, learning from experience can be valuable too, because it makes the lesson visceral, not just vicarious or theoretical. Better to lose 250k now than lose 250 billion later.

Abeg nobody should mention me or benedictuyi abeg. We did more than was morally required of us to warn folks about the sustainability of themap. If anyone didn't listen, well, it's a lesson, not a failure. So let them learn and move on.
