different doctors, different stitches i guess.

the stitch was covered with a waterproof material so i had my bath the very next day i got back from the hospital - (i spent one night in hospital). waterproof material and stitch was removed by the nurse during her home visit to check on me and baby by day day 3.

i marvel when i read here about some moms being told not to have their bath for weeks/months after CS.

It might be ur hormones. Maybe DUB dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Had it when I had my first child. Bled for a whole month. My dr said everything was alright with my uterus thus my hormones are at play.

I'm still bleeding like crazy... I can't count how many packs of sanitary pads I've used since last week that I came here to complain that I'd started bleeding again.
From Lochia straight to bright red blood... No break at all...

This is day 7, and the flow is really heavy ...
When I say heavy, I mean someone-left-a-tap-open-heavy...

I'm more confused than ever...
is it lochia (I'm already 7 weeks post partum, and I've been taking things easy after stressing myself before... Abi I'm not resting enough?), or is it my period ( before I got pregnant, my period never lasted more than four days and it was never heavy)...

I'm going to the hospital tomorrow cos ayaf taya...
All the Blood in my body yiaf finish...

Yes o, saw a relative that used it for her daughter. Mehn, people dey suffer o, couldn't even look at the armpit, very hairy with the boils all over. She applied it in the morning and after some hours, the puss started coming out. She has tried so many antibiotics but to no avail. Abeg which one you dey use? So she can try it if this therapy doesn't work.

I actually plan to ask my doctor that question at my next doctors visit... although mamas here said to clean with olive oil and cotton wool, my matron in Naija said to just clean with water when you are bathing. But considering that I haven't seen any milk or liquid come out of my nipples even with pressing, im a bit worried hence my decision to ask my doctor.
