HOW TO FIND YOUR WIFE by Pastor Sam Adeyemi Some guys come to church because most of the beautiful girls are found in Church. Let me advice you ‘uncle’, if you are not serious with your spiritual life, the people that you will attract will be people whose values are compatible with yours and they will also be the one who are not serious in church. You don’t pay tithe, you don’t belong to any unit in church, you have not attended any of the training in church..the girls that are spiritually serious won’t follow you. Personally, you need to make a commitment to God and to grow and to prepare to be an asset to whoever it is that will marry you. Having done that, the rest is easy.. When you feel you are prepare, the next thing is to position yourself where someone can see you and where you can see someone. To the guys first, he who finds a wife finds a good thing. To find something, you have to look for it. There is no point staying in the bedroom and fasting for 40days, all you will see there will be angels. Is not that prayers is not important, prayer is absolutely important. But I’m just simply saying you need to ‘watch and pray’ The first time I took Nike to see my parents, after we left my aunty told me later that one of her friend asked her; how did I see such a beautiful girl? Because your nephew doesn’t look into people’s faces, how did he see a fine girl like that? So I said to my aunty to tell her that I’m a pastor, that when I stand on the pulpit, I tell people to stand up, lift up their hands, close their eyes, worship the Lord…i said I ‘watch and pray’. Church is one of the place you meet people. You won’t meet people, if you come, sit-down, as soon as we close the service or even before we close the service, you carry your bag..you won’t meet anybody that way! You meet people in the place of service, in the place of commitment to God’s work because He said that you shouldn’t worry about what others worry about, you should seek first the kingdom of God and His Righteousness and every other thing will be added to you. I found my wife where I was serving God and she was serving God so passionately. Join a small group in church, serve actively, there is where you will find people with similar values with you. You can also meet people at work, you meet people in your neighborhood, get involved, maintain your relationship with your relations and your friends, visit people.. Pray once you find someone that you think he/she is the person. Pray more and do research, ask the person as many questions as you can about her background, what she likes and what she doesn’t likes, her values and so on.. Get some of your friends who are spiritual to pray along with you. If you feel stronger about it, mention it to a pastor or a leader in church. These are your safety net, this is one of the most important decision you are making in your life, get other people to help you to pray about it Someone asked me to pray for him many years ago. He said; I have found a lady I love somuch. I have never love a lady like that in my life. I said to him ‘okay’ just give me short time to pray before you lunch your manifesto. Few weeks later he came to me and asked; sir! How far? I said I’m still praying . He came back again after a week to ask same question, then I said to him that if I am to be honest with you, I don’t see both of you together in my spirit. Few days later he came to me again to thank me because he discovered some hidden secret about the lady. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that the God of covenant who has a plan for your destiny, that God will move on your behalf. Your marital destiny shall be built on revelation. He will guide you, instruct you and show you favor in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. I prophesy by the power of the Holy Spirit for everyone who has made mistakes before, with God there is restoration. I prophesy healing in the name of Jesus and I prophesy restoration. I prophesy by the power of the Holy Spirit, your divine connection in marriage will come by revelation. Courtesy: Christian Daily Post

Lalasticlala The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Foundation is now on the trail of 75 corps members who took between N300,000 and N400,000 loans to start small businesses but refused to pay after four years. Herald Nigeria learnt that the defaulting corps members used their certificates as collateral during their service year, as that was the only way to access the loans. But the corps members had abandoned their certificates with the foundation for almost four years. The NYSC Foundation Chief Executive Officer, Bako Ventim, disclosed this on Monday during the opening of Skills’ Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development workshop at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Kubwa, Abuja. The director said, “We have been providing loans to corps members and our interest rate is one digit. There is no collateral except the NYSC certificate and two guarantors. We make the conditions very flexible so that the corps members can benefit from these loans. “We have a challenge where corps members have refused to pay back the loans. We have over 100 corps members who took the loans but some of them have not paid back and we still have their NYSC certificates with us. They have not come to claim these certificates for a number of years. “We give as much as between N300,000 and N400,000 depending on the business proposals. From the records, we have over 75 corps members that have defaulted and we are pursuing them.” https://www.herald.ng/nysc-goes-after-75-ex-corps-members-for-failing-to-repay-business-loans/ |

A new study has found that one in every three ladies have gone on a date with a guy just to get a free meal. The research was conducted by Brian Collisson, Jennifer Howell, and Trista Harig of Azusa Pacific University and UC Merced, and published in the journal Social Psychological and Personality Science on Friday. The study, titled a “foodie call”, is a process whereby a person sets up a date with someone they are not romantically interested in, but for the purpose of getting a free meal. The name was derived from the term “booty call” – a slang for phoning an acquaintance for sex. The two online studies carried out by the researchers showed that 23 per cent to 33 per cent of women “have engaged in a foodie call”. During the first study, 820 women — with 40% single, 33% married, and 27% committed in a relationship but not married — were recruited. Out of the participants, 85% said they were heterosexual, and they were the focus for the study. Their personality traits, beliefs about gender roles, and their “foodie call” history were all measured. They were also asked if they thought a foodie call was socially acceptable. Nearly a quarter — about 23 per cent — of the participants in the first group said they had engaged in a “foodie call”. Although some of the women believed “foodie call” was more acceptable, others were of the opinion that it was extremely to moderately unacceptable. For the second study, a similar set of questions of 357 heterosexual women were analysed and it was discovered that 33% had engaged in a “foodie call”. The authors, however, stressed that neither of the studies recruited representative samples of women, so the percentage might not be accurate for women in general. They noted that “foodie calls” could happen in any kind of relationships and could be perpetrated by all genders https://lifestyle.thecable.ng/study-a-third-of-women-only-date-men-because-of-the-free-food/

Lagos parades two LASTMA officers for alleged extortion ...Sanwo-Olu Urges Residents To Report Erring Officials Lagos State Government has paraded two officers of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), who allegedly received gratification from a traffic offender. The officers whose names were not revealed were summoned to the Governor’s office on Friday, following a petition from a lawyer to the offender. The two LASTMA officials allegedly received undisclosed amount of cash into their personal bank accounts as bribe to free the offender, who claimed to be driving on a one-way lane unknowingly. During a fact-finding engagement with the Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, the two officers admitted that they collected gratification from the offender, but claimed the offender paid the money to show appreciation. Dr. Hamzat condemned the act, noting that LASTMA officers did not have a brief to receive gratification from members of the public for carrying out their statutory duty. The Deputy Governor disclosed that disciplinary actions would be taken against the erring officers immediately, adding that the punitive measures would serve as deterrent to other officers with similar motive to extort money from motorists. He said: “These two officials allegedly extorted money from an offender whose lawyer sent a petition to us. We have listened to their stories, but we are not convinced by their defence. “For further action, the two officers have been referred to LASTMA for further investigation and possible disciplinary actions. The law must take its course. This effort is to inform members of the public that LASTMA is created to make life easy for all of us. “In carrying out their statutory duties, no agency of government is allowed to harass citizens. We advise residents not to pay penalty into personal bank accounts of government officials. LASTMA and other agencies have their direct lines to lodge complaints. “This administration will ensure people live peacefully in Lagos. We are not out to harass anybody. These two LASTMA officers will receive disciplinary actions if found guilty. They will be given fair hearing to prove their case, but if found guilty, the law would take its course.” The General Manager, LASTMA, Mr. Wale Musa, who was at the meeting, also warned officers against extortion, saying the agency had stepped up its monitoring activities to eliminate extortion. He said: “No LASTMA officer has right to issue penalty ticket. We are ready to discipline erring officers. If they misbehave, the law will deal with them. The public should report any officer through designated numbers published on our website. We don’t condone indiscipline. The way we penalise violators of traffic laws is the way we will deal with our officers too.” Meanwhile, the government has urged members of the public to report badly behaved officials of the agency to the appropriate authority. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who gave the directive on Friday, noted that government was currently investigating various complaints levelled against officers of the traffic agency. Full weight of the law, the Governor said, will be on any government official extorting members of the public. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2448791888475396&id=492378324116772
