my friend who has just been offered admission to study geology is kinda scared whether to accept it or rewrite another jamb considering the nigerian job market after graduation.

My candid advise: it's a very good & interesting course. If you can make even a 2'2, u got to give praise to God because the things you think you knew may become difficult due to workload;
Secondly: You gonna spend a lot in project, much more than those in geography;
Thirdly: You need to have the fighting spirit to neutralize saboteurs especially your lecturers;
*Now, you graduated, don't go looking for 6 figure jobs. Get a small internship job & grow in technical areas...

Geologists ain't organized in Nigeria, compared to surveying & Geoinformatics.
Surveying 3rd class still further into professional surveying. Some universities like unilag still accept them for Msc without PGD...
But Geology is usually like a dead end without a job,because HRs too do not understand the course strength..

So, you must have like a 2'1 to be able to ride smootthly

I heard students are to pay a compulsory N10k for prospectus during screening... We paid N22,500 for forms, wrote exams online & UNILAG did not print anything.
Why shl we pay for prospectus which is supposed to be part of the N22500 we paid??

Na doctor's dey cause the inferiority complex.
I was hanging out with someone on admission, but I noticed the discomfort of the male nurse, always abandoning his duty... He seems unhappy if someone mistakingly says doctor & thereafter corrected

I was lying on a bench with my eyes closed then I sensed something was moving next to me. I opened my eyes and I saw this green snake moving beside me. Omo I jumped up and hit some chairs that where next to me.
The snake seeing the commotion I caused tried to enter one of the offices in front of me. I threw a stone at it but missed, I then found a stick and hit it on its back while it was entering the office and it's eggs burst out of its body. I then used another stick to drag it out and continued hitting it with the stick till I was able to bring it out finally, then I hit the head.

The funny thing is that I called the security to help me open the office so I could kill it but he said he didn't have the key but he told me to drag it out. Baba was moving back while I was dragging it out instead of helping me kill it.
Old people na them fear death pass but they would tell us young ones to face death and risk our lives .
