I already told how I lost my money in this gamer called Trading..Let me share another buddy's story...

In his words...

So, a few months back I saved some money and decided that I would be able to make a living out of forex making 12.5% per week, that was 2.5% per day from Monday to Friday.

I had been in the Forex for six month in that time, with only $100 dollars account, and I had broke my account twice (One for not putting Stop-Loss and the other for not controlling my loss in revenge anger) But in the end I managed to make three months in a row making about 40-50% per month, and that was to me the sign that I had figured Forex.

I used a combination of MACD, RSI, ADX. And always kept the lookout for the candlestick patterns, I also used Bollinger bands, but I never really checked them. My main Indicator though was the MACD, the rest was the confirmation I required.

I negotiated only EURUSD and I worked with a 1:100 margin using a policy to hold 2,5% SL if I wasn't cofindent in the play but the indicators were saying I should go, and 5% if I was confident and the Indicators confirmed. I've made arrangements in my job and I saved enough money to live the way I am for one year and to put $2.000 in my Forex Account. My plan was to only start taking money out of the account after six months of gains.

I quit my job in June, and 4th of July I started trading. First month I did well and got 50% even before the second week of the month, in the end of July I had $3.475,68 in my account. My confidence was high as was my spirit, everybody I talked too I would say how I found way to do something I loved and if I could keep my goals I would be a millionaire in less than five years; To everyone saying It was very risky I showed my gains from the first month and said I knew what I was doing.

And then August came. First week of August I had three losses in a row, amounting to $400, and so I decided to take a quick break. One week reading and searching for what was wrong. When I cameback I had in me belief that I was going to make a good position on EURUSD.

I don't know what I was thinking but I opened a position and I spike on the otherway around made me shiver so I moved the SL, believing it would eventually go the way I was planning; That day I went to bed and woke up with $1.000 less in my account, I was back to my starting $2.000 pretty much.

What followed this week was the worst series of trade I ever did, each one pushing to lose even more. First I did a series of trades that downed me to $1.500, than I did a big trade that put me at $800, I managed to land a very good trade that took me all the way back to $1.400 and trying to duplicate the miracle I lost $800 in one single trade. Yesterday I lost $500 and right now I have $72 in my account.

I don't know what I was thinking, I completely lost any of the things that made my set-up work, and now I've lost any chance to go back to where I started. I was overconfident and angry, and I know I have only myself to blame. I just needed to vent it to someone, and the worst part is that I'm ashamed to tell the people I've been bragging about the past month, to admit that I was not only wrong, but I lost everything on it as well.

This story reminds me how I was over confident and lost more than $1000+

While people are losing like HELL in FOREX, others are making money - as beginners because you can't learn to trade Forex and win as a beginner consistently in 5 months... but beginners are making money because it's a copy and paste method of learning how to use the Trading App, not FOREX - just SIGNALS.

You see, we all need that breakthrough from 9-5 work...I mean, who does not want to make extra income. But it is not wise to quit your job and start doing what you don't even understand...

On the flip side...it is wise to come back from work at 5pm, relax, start trading using our Signals anywhere from 8pm to 2am. This way you can quit your job easier when the result blows you out.

Let me join you guys here. The reason AUD, NZD and CAD rose is because they are commodity pairs and are affected by the ongoing trade war between USA and China. Trump made a tweet about talks with china, saying he isn't increasing any tariff for now, this is why AUD and NZD did well yesterday. GBP fell against AUD and NZD but wasn't really shaken against other currencies

Not refuting or disputing your belief system. What works for you may not work for others. Personally, while growing up, I have often been taught about some practices in Christianity like tithes, offerings, giving to the poor, neighbours, praying,fasting etc. I have put all these into practices and certain practices work for me while others don't. I don't do testimony cos it doesn't work for me. Joint fasting doesn't work for me unlike personal fasting. It just always amount to starving myself. Tithes, offerings and all those never worked for me as much as meeting people's needs who come for my help on a one on one basis or giving to less priviledged folks. Breaking of bread don't work for me as personal prayer and fasting.....

Prayer may work for you in making dollars in forex but for me, even if I fast and pray for 40 days and night, if I no use and apply my strategies and monitor the market, I always lose. If I enter market thinking by some touch of magic wand, it will go in my favour over the Asian session while I sleep off, na OYO I dey. It may work in demo but for live account, I always lose. So, please don't see my reply as rebuttal but honest observation.

God answers prayers. but those that trade base on prayer point always lose the trade because those who Shot and those who long pray to the same a God at the same time to win their trades. Those who trade base on market behavior and back it up with prayer always win because they have taken their time to analyzed the market behavior, know the right Time to enter the trade either going long or shot, know the right money management to use and the right place to set their stop lose and take profit. so my dear Brother Prayer alone dose not win trade

Uconnect has a good reputation no doubt, I have a few persons they have gotten job for. But nowadays this guys are the Demons themselves. This very week Uconnect kicked off its campaign for available jobs. Sending the information very late, giving you limited time to research. This very week Uconnect sent mail to everyone job seeker they have in contact. Saying that three roles are available 1. Sales Representative 2. Bank Teller 3. Customer Service

Some persons went on Thursday, I didn't get the information of Thursday, but I got that of Friday. On reaching see people? lolzzz. I shout. Ok I lock up dey wait. Because I spent about N700 getting to Ogbunike in Lekki. After some time they took some persons in for interview. While the rest of us are waiting outside. Some of their agents started marketing their Premium subscription to us, saying only these ones has better chance of getting jobs. Some people started to go and pay. Stubborn guys like me still de outside dey wait, After all we were invited for interview and not PREMIUM. Lets be interviewed first. After a while some of the guys that went in said, Uconnect said its only Sales Representative (Marketing) is available. WHY? Why den did they advertise other jobs? and dey set the age to 20 to 40years. So married and old people full the place. At the End of the day we got to realize they have been doing this for a while now. As we met a girl swearing outside that God go punish them that since dey have been coming and people have been paying the #2,600 for premium still nothing, she was really pissed. I formed new friends and we trekked to the bus stop together. Money done short what to do? I spent about N1,500 that day for rubbish.

I will have loved if everyone who was pranked by Uconnect to share this post or Nairalanders can take this up. Lets show this guys that they cannot be using our head anyhow. A lot of persons borrowed money to get there. Some came from as far as Sango. Unemployment leaves little money in our hands. And definitely we would spend money to find money, but in this current system some Job Agents will not allow us to spend the little we have for rubbish.

If I catch the owner of Gr8jobsng I go rough handle am. I serious

U-connect is gradually turning into "I know him / her " recruitment center . They are very good to invite you for interview but will not value or respect your present. You will get job from uconnect if only you have friends or relatives working there.

I went there for an interview, I met a lot of applicant who was invited for an interview. but many of those applicant were ask to go back because the available job was not for them

Right in front of me in the Hr office, a male staff work in and mention his ideal female candidate to be employ. Hr quickly brought out her CV and passed it across to the next Hr to update it on the computer and all other CVs was dump on the floor.

The following week I was call for another interview for another job role. I quickly inform them I did not apply for the job, since then I have not receive any message from them

Thank God I have gotten job through another regruitement company just recently.

I borrowed 1000 from them by dialing *561# code on my Airtel line. after 3 days the code stop work on my line which prevent me from paying back the loan uptil now. but that same code is working very well on my MTN line. I contacted their customer care number but was answered the robot who wasted my credit with telling me the alternative way to pay the loan

if you guys are so much afraid to make losses why not simply give your money to a forex company and earn your interest? I have heard some guys shouting don't do it, giving different reasons.
