I think any request for KYC changes has to be sent via email. Not sure you can update via the app. cc.. Emmasoft Pierce008: Good Afternoon Senior Investors. How do one update KYC on Stanbic MMF account?
I opened the account yesterday via online but there is some inconsistency I would like to correct, I'm currently skeptical in funding the account as result of that.
According to the email I got, I will need to fund the account before my login details will be sent. With this login details, is it possible to do update on account informations? .
Thank you as you respond. |

I do not know how Stanbic works process-wise, but for all the T-bills I have done with the first bank, I just walk into the banking hall and ask for the staff in charge of treasury bills, and I do my transactions with him/her. Pierce008: Good day Senior Men in the house...
This is the first time I want to invest in T-bills, and I have been observing these thread for some days now. I am quite exposed to the fundamental things I need to know. So today, I decided to visit the nearest Stanbic Bank to open an account with them since you need to have an account with the bank before trading in T-bills through them.
I told the customer care representative handling the account opening process about my intent. She immediately started trying to convince me to consider another investment option, which they didn’t specify, claiming it was better than T-bills. However, I’m someone who doesn’t get easily swayed, so I told her and her colleague that I am focused on T-bills for the moment.
During my conversation with them, they didn’t even seem that knowledgeable about the T-bills process.
My question is: how does the allocation of an account officer work? I thought that by going directly to the bank, the process would be seamless for me. Someone should enlighten me more. |

Proof of Address – less than 3 months (Recent Electricity Bill, Recent Waste Bill, First Page of Bank Account Statement stamped & signed by the bank, Valid Driver’s License with same address on the update form) This is what they accept. olig: Please, do FBNQUEST accept NIN slip as a proof of address/utility. I can't remember |

Reinvest interest is effective every month. At the first day of each new month, your interest is added to your capital Gvstavo: Kindly educate me on this. If you select to reinvest your interest, that is effective every quarter correct? Which means the interest from January would not be added to your capital until 1st of April? Instead of waiting for 3 months for the interest to be reinvested, would you recommend to opt for monthly payout of the interest every month and then deposit the same back as top up? That way your capital increases every month, so as your gain. I feel like there is an opportunity cost by holding that interest for 3 months before reinvesting it. Please let me know your thought on this. |

If you do the TBills option, you get a fixed percentage of interest after deductions. If you go with the MMF option..2 things can happen within 1 year; the interest rates may go up or come down and this will largely determine how much you will be left with at the end of the year. At the end of the day, it's your decision to make. But then again, You can do the tbills option, collect your interest upfront and then put the interest you got from tbills into the stanbic MMF account make e collect small breeze...bad as e bad sky404: pls House, I am considering locking 15million Naira for one Year, while expecting Good returns,
Therefore, Between 19% First Bank secondary market Treasury Bills
and
22.30% Stanbic IBTC money market fund
which one is better?? |

I do CPs via meristem, and I have never been asked for all that. The only time I needed a CSCS number was when I did FG Bonds. Maybe someone who knows can explain better. digitalinvestor: Good morning Nairalanders!
Please what is the essence of having CSCS, CHN, Member code or Tax ID to invest in Commercial paper? This was part information requested for in the subscription form but I don't have it. Is there any consequence at maturity? Pardon my ignorance it is my first time buying CP, I only invest in Mutual funds and FD.
Guys, I need your clarification on this! I thought you only need CSCS account when it comes to bond and shares . |

Go to the bank branch where the TB was processed. Your TB certificate should state the capital, interest and tenor. Fynebouy: Hello please can anyone help me. My partner invested in TB through firstbank. Asked that the interest be paid upfront and reinvested. The receipt from FBN states only the original sum and nothing abour the interest or its reinvestment. She has been trying to get information on this interest but nothing is yielding. How should she address this with the bank?
Grateful for someone to provide clarity please |

This is not fixed per se, as the rates can change on a daily basis depending on different factors. The rate as at this minute is 21.10%, and if it remains constant for a month and you put in 100k, you'd be getting approx 1,758.33 as monthly interest Dolphinlove: Hi everyone, please what is the interest rate for Stanbic money market fund for example if you keep 100k without withdrawing, how much will the monthly interest be ? |
