Carshopper: The naira/$ situation is looking good as of this morning. Naira gaining strength over d dollar, but we wait for Monday markets to open to see if there willb a reversal trend to heights of 370-400/$. One can only watch as forces of demand and supply battle it out on an open playing field.
AbokiFX report a 330/335 buying/selling rate, some1 dropped hint that you have buying @300/$ at d airport, will folks cash out due to uncertainty or will the currency speculators hold firm till mid week - a good script to watch.
Then we come to our own playing field - nairaland - will currency exchanges cash out this weekend rather then wait to see what the future holds? Already currency trading on nairaland took a dip on friday 17th June 2016 with major buyers n sellers holding out.
Demand high but the supply seems not to be good enough or is everyone waiting for that 'steal' purchase.
Monday 20th June 2016 holds so much for all. So I Siddon, open TV, drink origin and dey watch... who will be the first to go down?
Jus d waka pass..with my face for front...no call me ooo bros, Bloomberg dey find you o! |

Lordtrillion: If they have a store there, your best bet is to Pay for it on their Amazon store while they send it to your China address instead if its possible. Shipping from US would likely be costlier since its measured in Lbs instead of Kg that's true. china to China to nigeria is cheaper than china to USA to nigeria. let me even ask them if I can pay with AGC instead of RMB. they might not even need to store to cashout the AGC |

meny: Hello everyone, Please I'm a new Seller on KONGA. I received an order alert last night and was told that it is entirely my responsibility to ship order and arrange payment with the buyer. I do not understand? does this mean I can't use KOS? I am unable to reach call center cos this is a weekend. Please assist. Thanks. using KOS, yourself or any other courier are all ways of fulfilling that responsibility. |

Infinitikoncept: #240 to buy 289*240=69,360 $9 shipping= 320*9= #2880 Total=#72,240 Pick up= 28, modele street, Ojuelegba, barracks. We also offer delivery within Lagos #700-1000 depending on location and outside Lagos #1500 & above depending on either office pick up or home address delivery seems it's cheaper to buy from amazon than aliwhatever self. chinco people sell on amazon too na? might be worth a trial since its easier to come by AGC than PP or Payoneer. |

2sexycom: You have a good head on your shoulder. The market is a money spinner, we have done all the background work. Even those friends who record better results than us said our sales page is kick aSs... but why are we having lesser sales than they? they themselves say they can't answer cos they don't know.
So we narrowed our observation to how we packaged the product in the picture. My friend has decided to test with the imported version cos the manufacturers took awesome images of their own product, which is the only area we seem to be lacking.
Then I recalled at one time, I bought a wristwatch from China because of just the picture quality. The seller had over 1k feedback and I used same picture to sell same watch and also recorded good sales both here on nairaland, kaymu, olx. Truly, a picture says a thousand words.
Business, marketing is all about trial and error. We have decided to replace the product on our website with the image of the imported one to see the difference. By tomorrow, we shall know. seems you have found your answer. image is everything. |

mrsage: If that is the challenge then he needs more training on marketing and brand positioning.
Even if the oga decides to hide his website, competitors will still exist.
Competition is normal in every industry. agreed. they can start competing when he has sold his first batch and recovered his expenses. not people that will browse the thread, discover the name of a product selling 30 copies per hour, then start selling same products themselves with the skills op his asking for rather than teach him (after he has told them the hot selling product). let's just assume he's selling car tyres then use that as a case study to teach him FB marketing. my 2 kobo. |

not really cool if it involves DCC. otherwise, bravo ! DivideUs: dcc? can you educate me a little more please? DCC = Dynamic Currency Conversion. it will convert the dollar amount to naira at CBN rate. only Stanbic cards appear to support it for now. other banks have blocked it on their cards. if FB uses DCC, you won't be able to pay with your naira MasterCards. you will need to use a dollar denominated card and choose their dollar option unless your bank supports DCC. that's unnecessary stress. |

Business › Re: Why Will Konga Now Charge Full Seperate Delivery Fees On Multiple Items? by EnterPRO: 9:08am On Jun 09, 2016 |
if Konga are reading this, they should create an option for buyers to select consolidated shipping or piecemeal shipping.
those that opt for consolidated shipping will pay less but wait longer for their goods to arrive. of course, pay on delivery won't be available for consolidated shipping so as to avoid high cancellations.
