Who said you need a computer Science degree. You don't need it for anything At this point in software development, job postings do not require you to have a degree in anything Even some people that work for Google don't have degrees You don't need to waste money sitting for waec or neco or read chemistry and physics. Just make sure you get very goooood at programming and opportunities would come your way Computer Science degrees are trash in Nigerian schools anyway. You'll never remember what you were taught after writing the exams. That's 'cause the lecturers teach you so you can pass their courses. Full stop. I'll suggest you study something else you're interested in (business, arts, English) if at all you feel you need to go to the university PS: Incase someone thinks I don't know what I'm saying, I'm a programmer, also a student of UNN studying computer Science and Statistics. So I know how the university system operates, as it relates software developers. |

This is a game we played when we were younger. I and my friends. We used to bring two names, (a boy and a girl) and then we perform a series of stupid calculations by cancelling out recurring letters of the name. The letters that weren't cancelled out were now counted, the outcome produces if those two are going to be lovers, admirers, secret lovers etc. Lol. I decided to work on it and make a computer cancel the letters out instead of a human being. Boom. That was how the project was born. I present to you, FLAMES!! https://srty.me/FLAMES Please post a screenshot of names you tried in the comments so we can laugh small Note: App is for fun purposes only

It doesn't work. No VPN can give you free internet access except by exploiting your internet Service provider (ISP) And even if they do the exploitation, the ISP has a way of noticing and blocking it |

Melinda Gates is correct. I too see dead bodies on the streets of Africa. When the world was not in turmoil, the elites and politicians went abroad for medical services. Think about that. They couldn't even trust their country's medical system. And now those people they went to are overwhelmed and don't even know what to do about the situation of their own citizens. If USA, a developed country, with all the years of research and inventions, could loose over 100 people in a day due to the virus. Then what about Africa?. Africa is the continent with the highest number of developing countries. A country like Nigeria can't build a big hospital in days. Its simply impossible. We do not have accessories and finance. We are debtors. We owe. If the virus hit us badly as it hit others. It would have been a really really bad situation. And to see some Africans yabbing Melinda is disappointing. Let us think logically for once. How many inventions that shook the world were built by Africans. Why isn't Ghana as developed as South Korea since they gained independence the same year. Its because Africans have never believed in solving their problems themselves. They keep hoping that somehow it's going to be alright. Which surprisingly works for them in some situations such as this one. But... Africans should learn to weigh things logically, predict outcomes if no help comes, and learn to solve their problems. Solving problems bring inventions which in turn being development which brings. wealth. Let's use this experience to learn to create and give our outcomes better chances. Thank you to whoever who read this till the end. |
