Seems APC e-warriors have forgotten that there could be a typo. That's ordinary typo "hotels", "hostel". Let's stop the hate and this overwhelming negativity. Nigeria is our country and truly GEJ has done many good works. He has positioned the nation on the road to greatness by the single act of strengthening the institutions of democracy. Plus his educational achievements. Let's stop supporting backwardness in the name of "change". Else, we all (APC & PDP supporters) shall suffer if GEJ real progressive works are truncated. |
Truth is that the APC will soon break and scatter cos what really holds them together isn't the welfare of Nigeria but sheer greed for power and sentimental hatred of GEJ. The northerners are politically very intelligent and they'll soon realise that Buhari is just too old to run this country. |
benzion72:If you understand economics you'll appreciate the works of this administration in the face of global oil price crash. The Russian, Iranian economies dependent on oil like ours saw their currencies lose value by over 80%. The kind of archaic conservative economic system Buhari used when he was the head of state caused great economic hardship for the people. If you ban importation of essential goods there'll be inflation and other sundry negative effects in other to have a strong Naira. Thus, this mild devaluation of the Naira is very sound. GEJ is transforming the economy. Let's give him the chance to succeed. Let's not go back to the '80s. |
GEJ is the right person to continue transforming Nigeria. The opposition APC are well organised, no doubt, coupled with their well resourced international consultants plus their penchant for telling lies. GEJ also is not helped by the fact that he's from a minority group. So voices that can sentimentally support him are few (though some Igbos have taken it upon themselves to defend him). These are the main issues. GEJ performed more than most former administrations. The transformation of the economy is a fact no matter what opposition say. The strengthening of democratic institutions is the greatest thing any administration could do. This GEJ has done. GEJ till 2019. |
Many Nigerians are hating GEJ based on sentiments and APC propaganda. Every administration has shortcoming such as the Ikeja bomb blast during OBJ but we didn't call OBJ clueless, the ODI massacre, etc. GEJ has done a lot and is doing a lot to fast track the development of the country. Best way for a country to develop in this modern world is for the institutions of democracy to be strengthened. there is now free and fair election, free press, free judiciary etc. that way corruption will die a natural death. Arresting your enemies and jailing them cant stop corruption. Institutional approach seems a sustainable and proven means of fighting corruption. |
It's impossible for Ohanaeze to endorse Buhari. The Igbo are a bedrock support for GEJ and it'll be betrayal which the Igbo are not known for. Though, it's obvious that Rochas and his APC are working harder than Peter Obi and PDP in electioneering activities to get the Igbos. The best APC activities can do is to bring Ohanaeze Ndigbo to forgo endorsing GEJ or Buhari. Just neutral. |
otbliz:He didn't need certificates to become head of state. It was a coup, military coup. Buhari is campaigning on the slogan of transparency and probity so he has to come clean himself first. He that must come to equity must come with clean hands. |
Pure propaganda. APC has no ground in the east. It's unfortunate that APC wants to confirm themselves as a party of cheap lies and fabrication. |
Amaechi seem too mischievous. Wonder how a grown man behaves like a child. Elections shall come and go and his governorship shall come to an end. Nigerians are opening their eyes to the true face of APC. |
Nigerians will return GEJ cos there's no alternative for now. Democracy is maturing in the country thanks to GEJ. I wonder how a 72 old former jackboot dictator can be any agent of change. This same evil Buhari quenched a thriving democracy. Maybe APC is planning to use Buhari to disrupt the democracy that has given Nigerians hope and freedom. |
This is just those lousy organisations looking to chop campaign funds. PDP has refused giving them funds hence this propaganda. Ask them how many houses they've visited. They are looking for who to deceive, they can only deceive semi-literate Buhari. GEJ till 2019. |

Dr Alex Otti is the next governor of Abia State whether the evil T.A Orji likes it or not. Ndi Abia are ready to vote Alex Otti and protect their votes. |
In sane societies Tambuwal should have resigned as the speaker since a speaker comes from the majority party in any parliament. I wonder the excuse APC people give for this impunity and illegality. Yet Tambuwal is in the courts instituting suits defending clear illegality. This is surreal. |
asha80:Abia people are rallying support for him amongst the grassroot. He made the right move. He's the best candidate. |
The right candidate has finally joined the right party in Abia state to recue Abia. The appointed time for Abia state has come. No to PDP and T.A Orji. The looting must stop and development must set in. Meanwhile there is really zero support for APC in Abia state. ![]() |
Former Managing Director of Diamond Bank Plc and governorship aspirant in Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, yesterday picked the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) nomination forms citing emerging realities in the state for his action. The move came less than two weeks after he picked the expression of interest and nomination forms of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the governorship contest. Meanwhile, APGA has announced a shift in the dates of its primaries. Speaking shortly after picking the party’s governorship nomination forms at the APGA national headquarters in Abuja, Otti explained that he left PDP for APGA because of the latter’s acceptability by residents of Abia. He said he was in the race to rescue the state from total collapse. His words: “I have left the PDP and to me coming to APGA is like a home coming. I have always said APGA is not a political party but a religion for Nigerians. Some of you will recall that when our national leader died, we did everything to make sure that he was given a befitting burial. I was the chairman of the finance sub-committee. “I am very happy to be back home, we have a mission to take back our state and put it back on the part of progress and industrialisation. We have started that journey, we know that there are a whole lot we could do. When I look at Aba, I regret that I did not take this decision to serve my people before now. It is a great sacrifice for me to leave what I was doing until a few weeks ago. But it is not too late, we are here to win and win we must.” The National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh, while welcoming Otti to the party, assured every aspirant on the party’s platform of a level-playing field, noting that the party was determined to win more seats in next year’s elections. Umeh said: “Dr. Otti has after consultations decided to come to APGA, the party on which platform he can contest and win the 2015 governorship in Abia State. Let me once more welcome you to our national secretariat. We are very delighted to have you here and for seeing you announcing your resignation from the PDP and joining APGA, a party which you have described as a movement for the people of Nigeria. “I want to assure you that APGA is very happy to have you as a member; you are a distinguished Nigeria. Coming to us to contest the governorship of Abia State is a huge relief, as Abia needs a man that has the ability to revive it. We have been reading about the dilapidated state of infrastructure in the state, especially in Aba. I want to assure you that with you, APGA is close to the Government House in Umuahia. We are happy that you have the contacts to mobilize funds to fix Abia. When this news goes out that you are now in APGA, your fellow aspirants will return to the drawing board. “Abia votes are there for APGA to grab. You are a man of impeccable character and we will give you all the support and opportunities you need to succeed. Our target is to win that election, and with your joining APGA, we will do everything to ensure victory at the polls.” Meanwhile, APGA in a statement signed by Umeh has announced a shift in the dates of its primaries.
