Hopefully after this Covid nonsense, we are looking to train staff who will provide book-keeping and accounting services for potential clients in Canada. Since these activities can be done off site, I am thinking of having Nigerians trained and performing these tasks.

This is the source of my confusion: I am only looking to employ single mothers, and widows with young/teenage kids as a means of helping them economically and believing that they will be happy to have a job that they can perform from home (I believe that this will reduce staff turnover). I have tried to do some research to find out if there are legal implications of employing only these sets of people.

Please I need non- emotional responses with links to sources if there is a legal implication of that. Thank in advance

There is no legal implication in selecting only single mothers for this here in Nigeria. Follow your dream and go through with it. I can tell you that there are a lot of single mothers out there looking for this opportunity, if u can go through with it along side with a mass advert to this, you will be amazed the number of single mothers that will get your attention and at the end you will end up training a whole nation cos women are the key to raising a nation. I say to u again, carry on with your dream, i personally know some single mothers that will be interested in this and i will be there to support u with bringing in some women that are 100 percent willing to go through with this to the end.
