Sorry for what you went through, we have said it sometime ago for people to avoid stores using DHL only shipping. Next time make enquiries to compare prices before you order from AliExpress.

It's alright. It's RN7 the 6gb/64gb variant. I couldn't find it in any of the slots here in Nigeria so I decided to buy it in aliexpress. The actual cost of the phone was 64k and I had to pay 8k for DHL shipping and 10k for duty charge

its better you buy from xiaomi partner stores here in nigeria(slot,pointek,jumia,raya) or order from/through xiaomi dealers here

Thanks for your reply. I just checked the thread you referred me to and all I could do was hit my head on the wall a couple of times. I mean, I wish I knew about this thread the whole time, everything would have been easier, I would've gotten my phone by now and the most annoying is that I wouldn't have paid 10k extra, which I did today, for the same phone being sold here.
