Yoruba mythology is pretty much straight forward... We have one God or Supreme being called Eledumare, then we have 17 dieties, Orisha or lesser gods sent by Eledumare to earth to fulfill specific task in helping humanity.

Like most myth... God Eledumare sent specific instructions to guide the Yoruba race through Orunmila and the scroll bis known as Odu IFA, it is accessible only through binary of IFA chain Opele, palm, or Kola nut.. like binary system in maths, everycode in Odu IFA(Yoruba Bible/Quran) is in 0s and 1s

I really want to know each Orisha. For example, I absolutely admire OYÁ. I want to know her story... Same with the others...

If there's any site/book to read or historian that I am follow who's published works on this... I would really appreciate it.

I have so many Yoruba friends... But most Nigerians don't appreciate their history, they prefer to tag it as juju....

Has anyone here had to deal with body dysmorphic disorder?

Do you obsess over a perceived flaw that others may not even notice?

Has is affected your relationships with partners or friends and relatives?

Do you avoid socialising as a result? Are you depressed?





Personally, I've had body dysmorphic disorder for 10 years now. It's been several issues; complexion, facial features, height, weight, etc...

It gets so bad that we generally put off living until we're more 'attractive'...With a partner, the question is always, "Why would (insert name) ever love someone as ugly as I am?"...

No matter how beautiful/handsome you are...

It's hard to communicate with someone who's been diagnosed also.

I just want to know if there are others suffering here... Seeking support is difficult but opening up on a faceless forum would hopefully help alot.
