my name is EREKATA RUKEVWE and I'm from Delta State. I am in desperate need of a job right now.


I am a graduate of CHEMICAL ENGINEERING from DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY ......I came back from service (NYSC) last year and it has been private school all the way. I intend to leave private school since I spent almost all I earn on my daily expenses.

I graduated with 2--1(second class upper) honours and i am willing to relocate or move to any part of the country.

I am smart, a fast learner, highly efficient and productive.

Why i should be employed


Growing up from a typical niger delta home was one factor that influence my pursuit studying engineering . Thinking since delta state was an oil rich state i would find my myself in one this oil firms in no distant time.

I wrote my waec and neco 2008 thinking to be admitted in any of the engineering courses the following year. I had to read the whole of ABABIO new school chemistry and P.N OKEKE along side ANYAKOHA new school physics textbook.MAN MATHEMATICS AND NEW GENERAL MATHEMATICS just to be a must engineering student. As young as i were i was reading for 6 hours just to become an engineering student.

To cut the long story short.... I did pre-degree program in one of these states universities in 2011after tremendous reading to study in any federal university because state universities were not my thing at that time.

In 2011, that was the year it truly began, i was a pre-degree chemical engineering student and we were told that after the one year program,only 40% of each department will be admitted and our names have not been recognized by the institution. I said to myself that i won't go home from here having spent 2 years at home reading all my life to become an engineer. MY MOTTO WAS THE NORMAL WARRI THING: WE DIE HERE...( you know the story)

I was reading at all times....i meant all the time....i was always reading....i had no reading strategy or time table, i didn't even know when is best for me to read, the only time i can remember i didn't read was either I'm sleeping or bathing or in class. I read as if i had to write those exams and make HEAVEN.

I later got admitted to study chemical engineering in 2012 and i was in the moon but gazing at the stars that someday i will shine like the stars.

I said to myself that if only i can read the way i did during my pre-degree days that i will make a first class. I taught about this and i said let me give it a try. I read so hard that in my 100 level first semester i got a first class GPA. i was strong and of good courage but lo and behold i had to settle for 2-1 in chemical engineering.

Looking at the time past, i spent 2 years at home but was reading so hard coupled with my 1 year pre-degree program that was my most intense year in my reading ministry and 5 years of reading chemical engineering made it 8 years of reading like a mad man.

I graduated 2016 and was happy looking forward to companies that will grab me and hold me tight like an asset to them because that was all i was meant to understand. I came out and boom it was all about another phase of competition, they told me this one is called LABOUR MARKET where you feel the heat of unemployment in the land. I was feeling bad but then i asked my unemployed friends that have graduated before me and then they said i have to READ����

READ WHAT AGAIN I SAID TO MYSELF....i was bittered because i have been reading, i have read i said to myself. I later asked them what I'm to read and they start giving me bunch and dozens of materials ranging from dragnet to workforce to HCP to Gmat to SHL and tips on interview and so on.

my dear, i started reading again in 2016 until i went to service in 2017 and was still reading. Meanwhile it took me 1 year and 2 months before i went for service and all through this while i have been teaching chemistry, physics and mathematics and was also reading those materials.

I read all through service for 1 year and was thinking handling my nysc certificate was all that was needed by me. I came back from service October 2018 and all the money i saved from service along side my work has now gone down to job hunt.

I have been writing series of exams, multiple interview invites.....regret mail all most on a daily basis. I said to myself what have i done wrong..i became broke because i spent all money in job hunting, travel far and wide and sometimes lodge hotels.

I said to myself .....IF READING FOR THE PAST 9 YEARS CAN DO THIS JOB THEN WHAT IS IN THIS FOR ME..i kept reading and my job now is job hunting.

I am still reading and will always read because learning is a continuous process. If I'm to be employed aside my education, let it be because i have devoted my past 10years in reading and my intelligent quotient is on the high side. I can even look into your head and see all there is in it ( just kidding though). i am highly inquisitive, determined , dedicated and curious of knowing how to make solutions to problems. i have been a science teacher for like 2 and half years and i know what it means to be ready at all times to those science believing you are the alpha and omega in the science field, it taught me how to prepared and proffer solutions to problems.

I'm still reading and will still read. GOD BLESS!!!!!

I read so hard for PWC like I have ever done for any other exams and the way regrets mails keep coming to me make me doubt if I'm competent enough to even have a job......
