BABANGBALI:That's not even supposed to be a joke or an issue. I thought he was faking it until people said that's how he spoke |
Great man. I once met with him inside the Odusote Bookstores, formerly the largest bookstores in africa, located at Oke bola Ibadan, opposite Pa Awo house back in the days. I met wirh Ken Saro Wiwa at same place with the pipe in his mouth . These were presidential candidates for God's sake. I wonder why Pa Olunloyo backed off. A refined gentleman that he was. He spoke British English . |
numericalguy:Yimu. Some people still believe anyone supporting obi is ipob lmao |
Akpakomiza2:Did Jonathan win in the so-called core north? He didn't even bother himself. He focused on the south and middle belt, got a few consolation votes in the core north and defeated buhari and his 12m tribal or call it bloc votes .Your narrative about tinubu would have been relevant in 2023, not now that everyone knows he has nothing to offer. Or can you mention one single achievement of Tinubu so far? Even those who voted him , thinking he'll walk his talk are backing off. Forget all the waves of defections here and there. Power rests in the hands of the electorate not politicians who are fighting for their pockets. I hope you saw what happened in lagos in 2023. We, same voters are still on ground and nothing can change our mind, except we see magic in Tinubu's government. We don't vote based on emotions or bigotry |
numericalguy:But you were wrong. I hope he won't connive with the inec again to shut down the server. Even if he attempts it and the south looks the other way, the north no go gree . |
osuofia2:Obi's case is fake rumours. Pardon my grammar. He's not desperate. Had atiku not intruded in 2023 after he came back from dubai and destabilised the party and constitution, obi wouldn't have left the pdp to contest under Labour. If atiku likes, let him come out again. He'll lose. |
Agbegbaorogboye:Yes, but what's their percentage, compared to non-active users of those lines and accounts? My stats were based on active users. Many people living in rural communities don't have NIN and they're still part of the population. They don't even have bank accounts. It's worse of in the north. I remember a day I wanted to renew my passport in Ibadan and 2 old couple were asked their NIN. They couldn't produce one and they still attended to them. NIN enrolment is only active and popular in the cities and major towns, similarly among sec schl students preparing for external exams |
Cherrybae:Do they also control voters? |
Akpakomiza2:Not true and my opinion. Atiku's votes were never touched cos his brother was the inec chair. Fulani don't do that to each other. Without the server being shut down, obi won the 2023 election. His votes were reduced to size by the apc fraudsters who went and shut down the server. Again, all odds are against atiku right now and age is one of them. Secondly, a northern fulani man finished his 2 terms less than 2 years ago. I don't like tinubu but for the regional affiliation's sake, I'd vote him for a second term instead of atiku, if Obi isn't presented to fly the coalition flag. I'm sure the majority of the southerners are leaning in same direction. He's a formidable candidate. If atiku can support and work for him to north, he will beat tinubu. |
Thedon12:That's another valid point to consider. Largely a larger percentage of rural dwellers don't have a NIN. My grannies are a good example. |
iwaeda:I see. I did, will do as many times as he contests |
iwaeda:I don't think so. Where will you put Obi? |
iwaeda:Tell them. Those defecting must have been hearing the rumours that atiku wants to run again. That man is so useless. If he dares come out, he'll lose again. A mega party that will sack tinubu is coming. There are over 1m facts they can use to unseat him |
Agbegbaorogboye:You dont even know anything. Statistical figures remain with the federal government. They'd never tell you the actual number of enrolles, same way they'd never reveal the actual population figures to the world. As at 2021, Nigerian banks had 122.3 million active customers. I'm not even talking of opay, palmpay, monie point, etc. None of these customers would have an account without having both the bvn and NIN. Btw 2021 and now, you can imagine the figure. Again, there are students who aren't keeping bank accounts but have NINs. There are millions in the various villages who don't have bank accounts as well. As of last year, the number of active gsm subscribers was estimated at 219m. Can they have a line without the NIN? How will the line be activated? These are the people from 18yrs (adult) and above. We have millions who are below this age bracket. Not everyone in the villages have NIN or educated enough to have one |
HBD bro |
mohbadliveson:Abi dem still dey that same ruling party where tinubu talk say make buhari print more naira notes . They've even grown up , they dont accuse the pdp anymore but themselves. Isn't this wonderful? That's how they'd keep reeling out lies and propaganda till they leave office in 2027. Talk is cheap and it's easy to gather people and give them vests to wear, 2k and placards to protest across states as tinubu used to do. Governance is for serious-minded, agile, clean and caring leaders |
I know say kwara go adopt this nonsense laslas |
iampeterben:Wetin you want find go another creature's territory in the first place? |

Opposition can never say good things about you, cos they're eyeing that seat too, even though those allegations were false. Learn that. |
chukwutee:Shhhhh ![]() |
In Nigeria, to release a death cause is an abomination. The source of illness, una no go reveal and when the illness finally takes their lives, they'll still keep it secret. Why We can't be as developed and as transparent as the west is pretty much |
Finquas:He's in same group with the late pope. His era is gone already |
SoftSport:That's the presidential media aide's job 😃 😀. They say alot, which tinubu himself isn't even aware of |
Salewa97:Dey play. If he comes out 100 times, he'll lose. I prefer Obi. He may look cool but trust me, he's brutal. The way he governed Anambra was a proof. He's a goal getter too |
I've told them. Let tinubu try it again |
His supporters will defer. Killings everywhere. Baba dey for inside hospital in france. No western president will be so insensitive |
Obiedun:Can you compare when saraki was in power in.kwara with when the apc took over in terms infrastructural development and economic growth? I visit kwara. |
TWoods:Well, your opinion. God had predicted it since when I was in JS3. We were organising a send forth program for a pastor, who recently got posted to another church. He looked at me after the programme and made that statement about what God showd him concerning me and future, i used to see it too in my dreams of meeting with world leaders. The pastor is late now, was old though. I didn't even have an idea how it would happen. The DC event was God's affirmation of His promise. Those who were invited, whom I had conversations with said they never expected it and God must have been involved. I remember that guy who represented Therapeutic, Canada. He's a white man. I wouldn't know where you live around the world. It's appalling the way some of you jettison God's involvement in whatever we do or say in Nigeria when Nigeria isn't only the country serving God on earth. In America where I've been visiting for over 20 years, they are much more religous. Go to Joyce Meyer's ministry on a sunday and count hundreds of thousands white worshippers in attendance. America has the largest number of pastors who own private jets and mega churches. They believe in God much more than we do. Maybe those of you reasoning this way are always working round the clock so, you don't see what happens outside. In conclusion, what paralysed the Nigerian psyche is leadership and those always voting them into power not religion. When you vote a man with a highly controversial persona, what do you expect? People are dying in the country yet, the president is having fun abroad. American President will never have been so insensitive. Which American leader will be frustrating their investors the way Tinubu is doing to dangote just because of his personal interest in the oil and gas sector? Is it religion thar had wrecked Nigeria today? Is it religion that's retarding the growth of Nigeria? Isn't religion causing poor Healthcare, education, economy, the japa syndrome and all manner of vices in Nigeria today like kidnapping and fraud? The answer is NO. Check the personality of those governors and those who sponsored their elections...credit card fraudsters, drug addict who had been to rehab several times, etc. Is it religion who put them there? Have you been to UAE and Saudi Arabia? Nigerian Muslims aren't as religous as they are yet, they're developed and everyone wants to go there and invest, including our corrupt politicians. Without religion or Christianity in Nigeria, worst would have happened. People will be killing and maiming openly without the fear of God. The little decorum you're seeing is as a result of the religious presence instilling the fear of God. You cannot compare our clime with the west where things are running well. When our forebears were worshipping idols, killing human beings to do rituals and indulging in witchcraft, theirs were praying for the future of their nations and development of same. Wright brothers, the children of a German pastor invented the plane you and I are flying today. Their dad was deeply involved in the project and prayed for their success. It's in the American dollar note that in God we trust is written God bless America is also in their national anthem. Choose a good leader for Nigeria by jettisoning bigotry and we will be alright. We don't have problems with religion. |
