Nairaland General › Re: Pole Falls On Parked SUV In Port-Harcourt by ernecy(m): 8:41pm On Dec 05, 2015 |
I remember a similar scenario around June 2013 in Sokoto, happened to my collegue who went to midweek church service with his new Nissan Sunny park outside the church beside an electric pole, and one aboki, who is an expert in illegal connection climb the very pole to reconnect some line but unfortunately for him the pole just fall due to his weight and landed on my friend car, and shattered the windscreen, dent the the bonnet/roof, broke the the radiator and one of the headlamp. On seeing the damage he had caused, the aboki vanished, so when my guy came out of Church, he almost cried not because of the damage, but because of his wedding that was coming same week in Kaduna. |

TruthisGOD: Try to be reasonable here, when he is done with fighting corruption and manipulating the judicary so that his party will control most states, there won't be any opposition party again where the masses will fall to checkmate them and i dont see him fighting corruption against his party members. When this is achievied, there will be only one political party, even if you later see them as corrupt, you ve no choice bt to vote for them. If u don't they will still win cos the now ve the system under their control. You will only have an oppostion party when the members of (Apc) not the masses start getting tired of the party due to their selfish interest jst like PDP. The system will keep on moving in cycle and the masses keep suffering. I pity this country. You are so on point |

Wrong thread bro, try next one Seungrandfather: I was just watching a documentary about the war in Yemen and watched with utter sadness as people recount their ordeal about how they are suffering. A man brought his wife who was hit by shrapnel when their home was hit by shelling to the hospital. The most painful part is that the man said they have not eaten for over two days and the wife is heavily pregnant and her due dates is only days away. War is bad!!! If this war that the Igbo people are clamoring for finally comes I dont think they have the balls to see it through. If they really believe turning Nigeria into another Somaliland or Central Africa Republic or South Sudan or Libya, Syria they should think twice because war bring nothing but suffering and untold hardship. But if they are hellbent on starting this war they should just revolve it round their place and see if they are ready to face the steep consequence. Think deeply before you act not act before you think!!! |

Stop smoking weed dude its bad for ur health my mehn!! kingsolex: I am proudly omo odua from osun but I am presently living in the north, An average Igbo being is arrogant, full of empty pride and ego but as a psychologist I understand and live with them but respond with fire when they cross my red line. to be honest the eze ndi-igbo messed up in akure incidence instead of him to respect the oba and lay low for a while and pull strings while at it, he decided to turn the deji of akure's levity to stupidity and the youths decided to protect their culture/heritage their tradition but instead of e-igbo warriors to correct their brothers they seem to have deliberately, blindly toed the eze's path. The fact that you spit on a Yoruba man 7 times and he did not react does not mean he is weak, we are peace loving people but I can promise you one thing fear is not in our dictionary but my Igbo brothers will see every calm reaction as trait of weakness that's a wrong notion. secondly the Igbo community pounced so hard on oba akiolu during the last election I keenly followed and even apologised on behalf of the oba, its not cause we are weak it cause we are peaceful in nature need I remind you no Yoruba man living and working in Onitsha will insult the obi of Onitsha and go scot free but you Igbos have such leverage why try to use it against us in Yoruba land?? now the akure youths having observed you people are rude kids that needs to be flogged to their right senses you Igbos now play victims, please to avoid another flogging... respect the Yoruba culture, obas and laws then you will have nothing to worry about, cause now the igbos are painting a bad picture of them on Yoruba minds. don't let other Yoruba's react ohh. just an advice. God bless Nigeria. |

If you can't see the signs that nigeria's end is near, then i can't help you. I feel u bro, and u remind of the old saying that " He who knows how to pound , should do it in the mortar, but he doesn't should pound on the ground." This is a wake up call for the igbos, only if they will listen. |

God no dey sleep bro o, He will see u thru. It's a good thing that you are thinking this way instead waiting of a white collar job that's not insight.
But I think you should consider going into fish farming, instead of this Plantain business u intend to venture into, although I might not be seeing it from ur own point, and what I think is impossible might be possible for u, but let's be realistic at the same time optimistic, the risk in Plantain is that when u don't sell off before the products start to ripe it becomes a problem, where you either u sale cheap or it will spoil.
Check the agricultural section of NL you might find some relevant info that could help you make better decision.
