Having pains at lower abdomen as if you want to see your period isnt a sign of early pregnancy, eraly preg will giv u symptoms like fever and lost of apetite or vomiting. If you have seen your period earlier before now and at least a day after the sex and expecting another in between 1 month is close to negative in terms of being pregnant. Although there are rare cases where u keep menstruating while the foetus(baby) is growing. My mother did that for 9months while i was in her womb and i was born healthy and strong, very big indeed.
However, as much as I will advise you to do preg test, I will also not rule out you having an std test, 'cos this sign might also be a sign of infection especially if its associated with rash in your pubic area, or coloured discharges no matter hw mild.

Thanks nairalanders, Its quite interesting the way you pple hav analysed this. And all ideas put together makes a lot of sense. One fact established is that its wrong for the mother-in-law to be there, how much more 2yrs stretch. Secondly it makes sense to do "mama must leave" with diplomacy and also be ready to bear with the wife once the mother-in-law leaves cos she may not meet up with the house chores, so he shld be ready to assist in the housework. Now getting apartment for mama is a tall dream cos neither her sons nor son in law cld afford that even all put together, so its of best interest to speak with her sons to take her into their house making them understand the taboo in yoruba tradition of her dieing in the in-law house, I pray that works. Meanwhile she can attend branch of her church wherever the son she ended up with lives.
Now see why its good to seek several heads wisdom? I actually advised that he leaves the house and make the wife understands that he wont be back until he cld be sure who he married; mother and daughter? mother? or the daughter? That was my weird advise, thanks!

Its quite cheap at that price, but have you checked the mileage and also is the car within area you can reach? If yes!, take a good mechanic there to inspect the engine, drive it around and make sure its not having any mechanical fault. Also check the import documents if all is ok go ahead a pay. Its a dash for you! But if its not withing your reach pls think twice, there's something fishy.

The other sons we dont know if the other sons are willing to allow her in their homes or not, but surely they are in good terms, in fact better terms than the daughter. And yes the wife is running a small business that isnt working out for her. She is up today and down 2morrow. She cant really support the husband financially, though she takes care of little expenses like feeding of the kids alone, whict at times the husband have to come to herrescue. the husband hardly eats at home. He leaves for work early to drop the kids at school and gets back between 10pm and 11pm cos he closes at work at 10pm.
The man is managing in a room and palour self contain and his mum is late but he has a senior sis that comes there once in a while to spend 1 or 3 days. He has personally called the mother-in-law to move to her son's house, but she said its because of distance to her church cos the sons live in Ikorodu and d other son in Ibadan. The grandma has been there for 2yrs now.

I keep wondering what is the role of a woman in the home, some says its optional for the woman to choose what role she wants to play, some say it depends on the man's financial status and some says it should be an agreement between the two. Now we are talking about domestic and economical contribution of the woman in the home. There should be a basic agreement related to this modern world and the community that we find ourself as Nigerians that will seem resonable and justifiable to both parties, the husband and the wife. Please lets talk about this, I prefer more of females contribution and of course males are welcome to contribute for check and balance.

This grandma has one daughter (last born) and 2 sons, one son is married over 5yrs but yet to have babies. He lives in a 3bedrom flat all alone with his wife. The other son yet to marry but habouring his spouse in his house, lives in a room and parlour just him and his wife. Now their mother refused to live with the sons and chose to stay with the only daughter who already has 2 girls one 7yrs and the other 2yrs. she moved into their room and parlour self contain at the birth of the second baby and has refused to leave despite frequent anger from the daughters husband. However the grandma takes care of all the wife's duty in the home, even to washing her son-in-laws clothings and underwears. The Man is angry and insisting she leaves but the wife wouldnt want her mother to leave. How can we advise this family?

My friend seems to have frequent quarrels with his wife, and it seems its because they are working together in the same business. At times the wife wants to close early and the husband feels bad about it. Most times the wife will not leave home with the husband, he leaves earlier and the wife comes later which the husband doesnt like as well. Most times she leaves with the excuse of saying she missed her kids or she feels sick. But the husband feels there is more to it. What could be the problem?
