Aregbesola insulted baba Akande and Asiwaju but he and his useless followers were disgraced after the primary election in Osun APC produced Gov Gboyega Oyetola and the last card that produced Senator Omisore as the national secretary of APC which automatically makes Senator Omisore as a senior leader in Osun APC.

Aregbesola is in serious pain because he has nothing again in Osun. Kindly tell him to decamp to any political party of his choice in order for him to control Osun state because that is his interest not great late Bola Ige. He should stop playing to the gallery.

“Today as far as APC is concerned, Omisore is the most powerful person in APC today as far as the party administration is concerned and you know he’s not somebody that you can push around He had the money you can’t cajole him with money, he doesn’t talk much what he will do is within him.

“Senator Iyiola Omisore was anointed to serve a purpose. It is not that Senator Iyiola Omisore is adequately acceptable to the power block generally in APC but he is the person that they know that he is a force to be reckoned with politically.”
Speaking further, Jackson said the emergence of Omisore has recorded a 50 percent victory for Governor Gboyega Oyetola in the coming gubernatorial election in Osun State.

“I am too sure Omisore will win the entire Ife Ijesa Senatorial District (that is 10 local government areas) for Oyetola. If I am the gubernatorial candidate for PDP, I will just go and resign and leave Oyetola in the post,” he said.

President Biden is reportedly preparing to sanction hundreds of Russian lawmakers, including most of Russia's State Duma, its lower house of parliament, on Thursday, just as he jets off to Europe to meet with NATO leaders.
Biden will announce the new sanctions on 300 members of Russian parliament on Thursday from Brussels, where he will meet with allies from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to plot their next steps to address the war in Ukraine, officials told the Wall Street Journal.
The sanctions will be in coordination with the European Union and members of the G-7 alliance, they said. In total, 400 people will be targeted, including 328 Russian lawmakers and other elites, as the invasion trudges into its fourth week.
The Russian Federal Assembly is made up of a 450-member Duma and a 170-seat upper chamber, the Federation Council. The Duma approved a law this month that would authorize up to 15 years in prison for peddling 'false news' about Ukraine.
Also last month the Duma passed a direct appeal to Vladimir Putin to recognize the Russian-controlled separatist states of Donetsk and Luhansk, where Putin first sent in 'peace-keeping' troops at the start of the war.
The White House sanctioned Putin directly last month and has so far targeted a slew of political figures and elites that have propped up his regime and cut off Putin's access to banks and business to starve his war chest.
And though the Russian currency, the ruble, dropped down to being worth next to nothing and the nation was last week at risk of defaulting on its debt, sanctions have done little to change the Russian leader's posture.

Ukraine claimed today that its forces had shot dead the deputy commander of Russia's Black Sea Fleet in another significant blow to Vladimir Putin's forces.
First rank captain Andrey Paliy, 51, is the only senior naval officer allegedly killed in the war in Ukraine, although Kyiv claims to have slain five army generals.
Col Sergei Sukharev, of the 331st Guards Parachute Assault Regiment from Kostroma, was killed on March 18 and Andrei Sukhovetsky, 47, was killed during a special operation by a sniper on March 3.
In addition, Major-General Oleg Mityaev, 47, commander of the army's 150th motorised rifle division, died fighting around the besieged city of Mariupol, Major General Vitaly Gerasimov, 45, was killed on March 7 outside the eastern city of Kharkiv, and Colonel Andrey Kolesnikov, Commander of the Guards Tank Kantemirovskaya Division, was killed in fighting on March 11.
It came as Russia claimed to have hit a training facility for foreign fighters killing more than 100 special forces personnel and non-Ukrainian mercenaries.
Paliy's death appeared to be confirmed by a Russian friend, Konstantin Tsarenko, secretary of the public council of the Sevastopol Nakhimov Naval School, although it has not been officially acknowledged by Moscow.
One account said that he had been involved with Russian marines attacks near Mariupol.
Paliy was born in Kyiv and in 1993 refused to take the Ukrainian military oath, instead serving in the Russian Northern Fleet.
He had earlier served on the Russian nuclear missile cruiser 'Peter the Great'.
He also served as deputy head of the Russian naval academy in Sevastopol, in annexed Crimea.
Ukrainian official Anton Gerashchenko claimed Palsy's death early today without giving further details.

There are very limited number of testing kits to go around, so yes of course screening is selective.
