PresidentAtiku: simply means that if a Muslim must continue, it has to be ATIKU
Yeah. I won't put up an argument cus everyone has the right to campaign for any aspirant. Nobody has the right to tell another person not to follow his dreams. U do urs,and I do mine
NyamiriFlathead: No amaechi again, no peter pandora obituary again and also umahi, now it is jonad.aft Pls who swears for these people Biafool pigs are the most stupid people i have ever seen
Senseless and stupid people. Am seriously worried by their level of daftness
christejames: As an Urchin to the Pee-Poo's leader I will do everything within and out of my power to eliminate GEJ to have an easy ride for my leader!
Time to fight dirty!!
As. An Ipig that u are,we already know ur place is the mud
RagaMufeen: Powerful members of the cabal don't want Amaechi, they think they might not be able to control him.
Anyway nothing for Tinubu sha, he can try again in 2027 if his bladder will let him.
Just dey try dey reason sometimes before u post things on nairaland now.people dey get perception say u dey very daft, and u dey justify am.just try ehn.nobody dey follow u drag.na u get ur brain.try dey use am abeg
Reference: I understand the Constitutional encumbrances (which we should do away with as soon as possible) but I repeat, there is no visionary leader in the face of such monumental challenges that will remain silent, waiting for a so called time table.
It is just unimaginable that in a country in such dire straits, a year to elections not a single candidate is telling us where we are, where we can be and how he intends to take us there. Just a year fa..... haba. How are we so daft in this country.
And I am not talking about calling public rallies or arranging townhalls or even press conferences. I mean just responding to a journalist here or there at the airport lounge, in the supermarket parking lot or at the local ATM.
You barely see the press running after them for these because they have no idea of what they want to do in/with power. We know most of them are practically empty headed. It is only power they are after, not governance and so become victims to 'cabals'. That is where so called mandates get hijacked. When the principal has no substance leading into elections.
It is when they get elected they start thinking about the problems and seeking solutions. Who employs staff on that basis for his personal business.
What is the basis of any Nigerian boldly saying that he will vote for this or that person when there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON OFFER.... NOTHING....
We can also do our part as youths,by organizing towhall meetings and inviting them to come and tell us what they have in stock for us. We as youths should try to organise town hall meeting and invite our local council chairmen to brief us on the work he has done so far,and how to move the area forward. As ironic as it is,I doubt if 90 percent of nairalanders know their local council chieftans
Reference: I totally disagree. What you are talking about is just politics without conscience. For how can you have a leading candidate that does not consider the state of the people he is expected to lead. The world over, leading politicians ALWAYS comment on the state of the nation and forcefully fly their own ideas and ideologies whether in our out of electoral season. Even as recent as the second Republic that was the case.
I don't know where this recent trend of silence onto elections came from but I surely know the roots lay in our electing autocrats this recent two presidential terms. Even Atiku as serving Vice disagreed openly with OBJ and pushed his own ideas which is not a bad thing.
But for you to say everyone keeps quiet and few days or weeks to an election come up with some watery manifesto short on any form of details as to how to bring us out of the monumental challenges we have today is just not acceptable. That is simply not a working democracy.
If you must be a leader of a serious minded country your passion for its success must be absolute. And if you are truly passionate your mouth will be overflowing with your vision, plans and programs so that electing you will become a certainty after public and widespread critiquing of your ideas.
But u know it's not possible constitutionally,to roll out manifesto when campaign never start. He will so the needful when the time comes. Atiku came out to criticize the government, but never gave us any concrete plans on how to turn things around for the good.so where does that lead us
PrinceOfLagos: No need for primary, our darling president, Buhari, said he already got someone that will succeed him , but won't reveal his identity yet for safety reasons and we are solidly with Buhari on This one .
Primary won't be necessary
Abi you want that man in bourdillon to use Lagos money and buy everyone to his side?
ityP: Primaries have not been held. Tinubu is a thief who has enough money to pursue his ambition, even though he isn't sure of what the result of his struggle will yield . Others don't have that luxury. After primaries, you will see the real politiking
He is a thief who has stolen billions from ur state or family inheritance
BeardedmeatR: Campaign has not started. Tinubu is just doing gragra to intimidate his enemies in APC. But are they intimidated?
A journey of a thousand miles begin with a step. Campaign has not started,so he doesn't need to roll out his manifesto for now this year is about building bridges. There is absolutely no crime whatsoever in a man working towards achieving his life long dream.
Dawn91: Why are you guys ,I mean the Yoruba always so obsessed with what they the Igbos do?
It's either you are drawing parallel lines between some event and.their tribe or you are fuming and hyperventilating how they should not expect the presidency. I hadly see those guys talk about you guys save the usual troiling on human rituals or yabbing Tinubu.
But you guys especially the Yorubas on this forum are damn obsessed with those guys and their tribe o.
This is serious
But u're so blind to always be on the lookout for any news relating to tinubu,to out ur gutter mouth to connent
PrinceOfLagos: Man of the moment for all the negative reasons
From peeing and pooing on his body to been mocked by his right hand man , rauf Aregbesola
That's a red flag on his presidential ambition
No political party would want to field such person
U're just an inconsequential illiterate, blinded by hate and unable to reason like a normal human.if oyetola emerges as the governor of his state,I hope u will be alive to live in eternal shame
Coming from a nonentity who has no life other than to sit and refresh Google just to get news to tarnish the image of it's own and the country where he prays to succeed in. There are a lot of evils happening in the western world, but u will never see them come out to tarnish the image of their country. U guys will wail and wail forever as far as am concerned
Racoon: You are always warped anyway. So it is understandable. Meanwhile, the same anti-corruption government you've been asslicking can not package & send the supercrook cop-Abba Kyari to the US?
