Mama there goes that man. |
Jaylen Brown conned the refs for that FT. |
Celts disgracefully have no form of rebounding. It is part of why they are down in this game. |
38 for Lebron. 14/28 now. He is bullying Rozier in the post. |
Cavs are only up 7. Compensatory call on Korver. |
Game looking like Rugby in this. |
Terry Rozier shooting really well today away from home. He gave the ghost costume to Tatum who has been non-existent. |
Lebron rested. Lead still in double digits. |
Marcus Dumb. Both Marcuses. |
Celts D in disarray. Yea, I am allowed to call the travel as long as it not your man. You are wonderful aren’t you? |
Jeff Green replacing Love well. |
Lebron travelled come on. On that possession that Clarkson or Lance hit a 2. |
Lebron 3. 34-33 Cavs lead. |
What happened to the defense Celts? Easy buckets for Cavs. 33-31 |
Marcus “Not so” Smart |
Cavs down by 5. End of the first. Jaylen Brown 25 Lebron 20. You get what I mean. |
chic2pimp:You are right and if they win, then they deserve it. I am not like some people here who prayed for GSW players to get injured before the playoffs. I never expected CP3 to get hurt. I feel for him. But I am celebrating this one because it directly benefits my team. I know they will give it another run next season being encouraged by this one. They gave it their all in the regular season to get the number 1 seed and they did but all that hard work came with its own consequence. GSW have been there before both in 15/16 and 16/17 that is why they tried to take better care this time around. The intensity of the playoff causes such things. |
chic2pimp:It is not Harden that worries any GSW fan or supporter. He scored 41 in their game 1 loss. If you had asked me before hand who I wanted out of Rockets it will be CP3, Capela before Harden. Harden can play out of his skin. But he is no floor general. No talker. No biter. No leader. He is just the best player. With CP3, that is who they had and will miss. Left to Harden GSW have won the series 4-1. It is CP3 that has enough amnesia to forget a bad quarter and push on. He knows the exact pass to make, the way to sell the foul, which opposing player to taunt, whose skin to get under and how to play D that can force great players to change their minds. Imagine having another coach on the court. A far better shooting Rajon Rondo with more HOF credentials and equal IQ. Man...nobody can tell me nothing. This is a gift from God above. Let Eric Gordon play all he wants to play, they still have 18+pts, 6+Assists, 4+ rebounds 3+ steals and uncountable leadership to make up for in CP3. I have been watching all the analysts as much as I could all day because nothing they say can get me worked up. GSW needed help, and God took CP3 out of the way. It is the lord's doing and it is marvellous in my eyes. |
chic2pimp:Y’all know the dude ain’t playing game 6 or 7. If he could play 7 he would have played 6. People keep acting like this is the NBA finals. It is not. If they lose him through an aggravated injury and they somehow beat GSW, are they not still handicapped going into the NBA finals proper? |
james255:Like..to win 77 regular season games and then what go 16-0 in the playoffs? Is that how it works? Be real man. |
BarthramLestat:Who won’t cry about Iggy when you lose game 4 and 5 by 3 and 4pts? Abi did he not win finals MVP? |
raumdeuter:It is not just overconfidence. It is down to execution in crunch. In fact, it is more down to the latter than the former. The only reason it is telling now is because the opposition is more formidable and the lead is not as high. We almost gave up a 16pt 4th Q (game 2)lead to Pels and later a 26pt 4th Q lead in the close out game 5. Seems like GSW are just so used to being way ahead and teams giving up that it rattles them when teams still push in the 4th. |
BarthramLestat:It is not about all-stars it is all about matchups. I find it weird that you always bring up all-stars when it suits your argument. We are 0-3 in the playoffs without Iggy. He also makes a 10pt difference in each game that we play him (ask Lebron). If Iggy had played game 4, GSW don’t lose that game. Easy. He could have made the same impact yesterday simply because he takes out the effect of their role players better than anyone else on our roster. I am not going to pretend CP3 being hurt does not help us, it does potentially in game 7 where he can make a difference in a close game. But make no mistakes about what we have had to deal with too -choking et al. |
raumdeuter:If there is a game 7, it would be Monday. Still don’t think it is enough time to heal for a hamstring. If he plays, he will be tentative, and his D will be exploited. If they bench him, it is as good as him not playing. I can’t believe this type of luck that just befell GSW. But Rockets got lucky too against Utah so it is fair. We also played large swaths of the season with injuries. |
BarthramLestat:Even with him fit, do you expect us to choke another 12pt lead in the 4th at Oracle? Like I said, I was not worried about game 6 with him being fit. Iggy was going to come back and we were still good for a home win regardless. The issue is the game 7 where they had home court advantage. If he does not play then, then God just gave us an easier path to beating them. |
kayjay69:LOL GSW must really suck if arguably the best player on the Rockets in the last 2 wins (by 3 and 4 points respectively) will be out and they (GSW) will still lose. |
james255:LOL. Is you for real? |
SmooshCHN:Guy, it is Houston medical team that told Kristen Ledlow who reported the news. I saw him limping off at the end of the game. What they want to decide is the grade. I know grade 1s can heal in days but 2 and 3 are weeks and months kinda injuries. I obviously don't wish him long injuries so I hope it is a grade 1. Just enough to put him out of his game especially on the defensive end. Curry will not match any aggression until we play PnRs with him and KD (Which always works). I don tire for Draymond bringing ball up to give to Curry who gives to KD and starts running round screens. With 5 secs to go (after KD has pounded the ball for 10secs) we are left to his midrange which works atimes but then does not win us games. I saw a stat that said we are 0-5 or so when KD gets 38pts and above. Something ridiculous like that. |
SmooshCHN:I am not even in for either arguments. My own is Pacers that took Bulls to game 7 are they better than GSW? Or Miami or Detroit Pistons of 1990? People should just leave history where it belongs as arguments can be made on both ends. What I want to know is if CP3s Hamstring is grade 1 or 2 or 3. That is all I care about for now. |
Manutd19:You do realize that Jordan played 3 game 7s in the ECF? You do realize that he never played a 65-win team? I wonder why people like to rewrite history when Jordan is involved? |
Father in Heaven, I wish CP3 well as he recovers from his hamstring after seeing his team lose game 7. I know it is part of your divine plan to give them 3 wins and take out CP3 just so that GSW can win another ring. I know we would get hounded by it but Bogut and Iggy had injuries even as Draymond got suspended for Cavs to mount a comeback. I would take whatever gift you give to us to help us in this one because we need you. In Jesus' name, Amen. |
