Not gonna lie, we're simply playing like we don't want it. There's no excuse to that. Klay tried to start out aggressive but he came out too aggressive. It's the total opposite now especially on the interior defense. Don't get me started on KD and Draymond. I still can't remember the last time we played warriors basketball. The offense is a mess but the defense is a huge one.

I agree with everything.

But see the point, as bad as it has been, it is just 11. That is, 4 possessions. There are 2 more Qs to go to win this. This is a game 7 and the home team are showing spirit. We give them credit and that is where we leave it.

I am not panicked. We have played as badly as we ever could and we are not down by 25. I would take it.

Well, it is game of 2 halves and for how bad we were I can take an 11pt deficit.

The way rockets have scored this game is in ways we have prevented all series long. So the issue is mental and I think the missed FTs and fouls early in the game affected the funk.

The rebounds are too much. KD allowing Tucker collect that rebound.

KD is flustered. I don't know what's causing that. KD and Klay missing FTs. Something is wrong.

They missed FTs it can get to the mind. The lack of rebounding is simply lack of effort. They cleaned it up in the last possessions but it is what it is.

Another set of free throws missed by Klay.

Lost rebound for the Harden dunk. We are definitely out of our funk.

Your first paragraph is the only thing I don’t like at all as this is the first time all series we are letting them.

As for their long 3s. I am not worried at all. This is a marathon not a sprint.

Why did Rockets have a foul to give when they were in the bonus already? I don’t understand the rules sometimes.

Greatest issue has been Bad rebounding (although it did not cost us because Rockets missed all the 3s they attempted from it.

And some careless passes in the paint by Curry. Few of them but one or two were unnecessary.

We have taken a punch (waaay better than game 6) so we would take it. We need to make Harden work on D.

KD should not try those ISO 3s. Ball movement tires them.

We have not rebounded well.

Bell is not giving good minutes now and McGee may not be better. Bell has been missing easy deuces and not marking Harden well.

Klay deserved 2 of the fouls but not the one for the contested 3. Harden jumped into him while landing. Why Refs get conned by it surprises. But it is all good.

My own slight issues are unnecessary TOs. We should not try contested 3s.

Don’t fall in love with the contested 3. Nobody wins game 7s that way. It will drop to the mean. Eat with easy 2s and stay close it is marathon not a sprint.

I keep stressing it but people don’t listen. It is very difficult to manage egos. The reason Zidane is succeeding is because as a player he was better than every one of his players now so they respect him. It is the same reason players like Neymar would want to work with Pep - for his achievements as a manager and the style he plays.

Unai will achieve great things with players who listen to him because he is a good coach and he understands tactics. People should stop watching themselves and reporting fake stats and stories. Watch football and learn.

I left the game at 71-69 or so. Kudos to Cavs for slugging out a game 7 at Boston. Score line reflects zero offense for the Celts in crunch. They will learn from the exposure and be better. They missed Kyrie and to some degree Hayward whose experiences may have counted today. But I am happy they don’t get to taste a finals already. That young talented team would grow up so fast which I want to stall for a few years where Curry can pick all his rings.

Oh well, we expect a crazy game at Rockets tomorrow. We have not particularly shot there well but I am happy that Klay and Curry have figured out Warriors ball and will play more freely tomorrow.

Barring a crazy shooting night for Harden and his acolytes, I think GSW just about edge it. I expect a 13pt win for GSW.

That is why I am worried about his future especially if he chooses to leave the Celtics. I don't think a coach hustling to keep his job would be patient with him.

I really hope this game does not last in any coaches mind. I doubt Ainge will keep him based on this game. What Kyrie would have done in a game like this.

You lose games by easy buckets not those contested mid range shots that your man is trying. That only works when you are 18pts ahead of Raptors and feel you can do what you like.

But they started doubling him after the break which they were not doing prior. They called that timeout just to fix that.

It's easier to take it to the rim in transition before a defense sets, if it weren't all he'd do is take it to the rim seeing the success he's had doing that in transition.

The Cavs aren't in anything. What actually makes you think that a single set can be used all through a game. That's the least of my worries.

They are now doubling Horford. It would have been a 40pt game by him through that alone.
