Hol up Hol Up people it's not only one game. Once Curry gets His shooting form back, it'll be lights out(which He'll certainly do at the Oracle). Also Klay has gotten his customary one bad game out of the way so be rest assured He won't be this bad for the remainder of the series.

Phucking K.D if this dude wasn't on Golden state, we will be talking about the series lasting 7 games grin grin
They reacted this way when GSW lost to Pelicans.

Flip the script and let it be that GSW dropped a home game to Rockets the media would have been awash with how Rockets have done what is necessary. That is the only thing that is annoying me.

If we lost by a close game (they will say we don't execute well). If we dropped a huge lead to lose (we were figured out). We are either expected to sweep or lose the series we can't win any series by dropping a game or 2 grin

I don't think they have played poorly this series. I expected the Rockets to come out aggressive in game two. Curry's situation is not physical if you ask me. I think it is more of what the Rockets are forcing him to do, which is get him on the pick and roll at the top of the key and if he switches, go ISO against him. Listen to the post game of coach MDA and you would hear him agree with my stance. It is a deliberate tactics to go at Curry in a bid to disrupt his offense, which has worked in 2 games. If I was Kerr, I would move Curry away from the top of the key, move him to the wings and if they choose to drive at him from the wings, let the weak side help him. It is more mental and a shooters slump if you ask me and he needs that confidence in his 3 balls going in again. You can see his team mates rallying around him to encourage and during hurdles, Kerr tries to motivate him one on one, that tells me its more mental than anything else for Curry.

KD would always be KD, not sure there is a better scorer in the NBA than the man.
I have been agreeing with your posts even when I was not quoting them. The only area I slightly disagree with is the hiding Curry part because it will play into his mind.

I know Harden got buckets on him in both games. But to me, those were contested shots. Just that great offense always trumps great defense.

CP3 and Harden had 4/20 3s and 43pts together. Harden had his 27 on 24 shots (+free throws). He was not exactly efficient. Curry is just looking exposed because he is not producing offensively.

Warriors still winning this series.
Cavs-celtics na the real show.
Every thing dey tell me say Celtics go win but to count out bron and the cavs na something my brain can't get with.
LOL Bro, Celts are not great away. The greatest chance they have is home court. As for the, JR Smiths and co, they will shoot bunkers on their court. It is a truism that role players more than often play well a home. And that is all Bron needs. He cannot run riot for 4 Qs. He usually coasts in 2nd and atimes 3rd quarters so he needs those role players to bail him out. If they win game 3..they will win game 4 and Celts will need to win game 5 which they will.

At the beginning of the series, I said Bron would not sweep. I was thinking 4-2 or 4-1 TBH. Now, I smell a 7 game series. In my heart, I prefer to play Bron in the finals. Don't want to give these young celts any experience at that level for now or else they will overtake GSW sooner than most expect.

Donndino:
The Rockets are setup to stop Curry from making threes, therefore Curry struggling isn't disastrous. It was more damaging that Klay Thompson got so cold. KD is guaranteed to get 20+ points per game. However the warriors need a good game from one of Steph/Klay to win.
They close in on him and don't mind if he blows by to make a 2 rather than a 3 because our whole kerr-inspired offense is setup around Curry's 3 and the way he forces teams to leave at least 2 players unmarked.

When we could not get over the hump against Cavs in 16 the argument was that when his 3s did not fall it affected other aspects of his game and we relied so much on rhythmic offense that we stagnated without it. Enter KD who was king of ISO but could not win a ring with it. KD is supposed to be the guy to give us offense when all else fails. Like prime Shaq was or Jordan etc.

You can tell that Curry is more unhappy that his 3s are not falling than anything else. In fact, he does not seem to enjoy making explosive drives than the 3 but KD is very content eating from midrange and the stripe. Hence why Curry was trying to force the 3s yesterday. He needs it. GSW needs it.

I said all that to say, KD can score 40pts a game and still lose. He knows that from his OKC days. It is imperative that Curry should still be leading the offense even if he is causing stupid turnovers. KD can get his buckets through ball movement or bailout but if he continues to be first option, GSW will wobble.

Curry is decoying through the offense. Picking the ball after it is brought up. Giving it to KD then running through screens of which they will just be pulling and holding him. When he is not free, KD ISOs us and then on the other end Curry is left to watch Harden make 10k crossovers and if he is hot, the step back will fall. And the competitor in him will want to make a retaliatory 3 and before you know it..chucking..missing..repeat.

It is Curry leading the offense that was game 1. Game 2, after first Q, we went to KD ball. Hence Klay and others having bad games. It is KD ball that made us lose that game to Cavs in 2017s regular season game. It was Curry leading the offense when we beat them by 35 few weeks later.

KD ball works when Curry is totally not playing because the opposing teams have to make their plans around him and Klay instead. As long as he plays, they make it about him not because KD cannot be guarded but because they know Curry is the key to GSW winning. Cavs game 4, Curry was off..KD dropped 34 or so..we still got blown out.

see, when a team starts shooting the 3 so well, u are doomed if u dont catch fire from 3 point range to match them. 3 pointers wreak all sorts of havoc on the best defenses designed in bball. for instance check out what the sonics did to olajuwons rockets in gms 2 and 3 in 96. swept the defending champions
Don't mind people. Houston hit 16 3s to GSWs 9 on a day that Curry and Klay combine for like 2/14 which is waaaay below their mean.

I don't know whether anyone saw David West messing up rotations and not closing out Tucker who got hot.

But more than anything, is it that Rockets were not good to win a game? Cavs also made 24 3s in their singular win against GSW last year.

Oooh if curry is good offensively, that will make him a good defender automatically and no one will say anything bad about him and his horrible defense. cheesy
LOL. Horrible defense.

I split a game AWAY at the “best team in the league”. That is what is expected of me. You wanted your team to split and they did not but somehow yours is a positive and mine is not.

Did anyone say Curry's offensive woes are permanent? People were talking about his poor defensive skills so of course he doesn't want anyone saying anything bad about him. Scary. cheesy
We scored more buckets on Harden in game one than Curry was scored on in game 1or 2 but Harden dropped 41 so nobody cared.

Which is why I said the only reason D is being brought up is to pretend they are actually doing analysis when we all know it is his offense that dictates his defense.

Eruditor:
Like I said, for some reason, he struggles at certain times away. The only reason people are talking about D is because he did not score as well on the other end. If he made 5 of his 8 3s that game goes Warriors way. It is a game of fine margins. Especially away.
BarthramLestat:
Ooh no. Please don't point out his love curry is bad defensively, please don't say anything bad about curry.
How can you be helped?

BarthramLestat:
Lol. Even the most loyal Curry fans have to admit he's a defensive liability. This is something the Cavs have exploited in the past and I remember Richard Jefferson putting a lot of emphasis on how the warriors spend a whole game trying to hide Steph Curry on the defensive end.

Someone however, thinks Curry's defensive lapses are "mental". cheesy
You are the best at reading your filth into any post.

Richard Jefferson can say what he likes after they win 4-3 from pulling and shoving. But if Lebron gets 15 in one game it becomes a feel-out.

I wonder where Curry’s D was in 2015 and 2017.

And the funniest part is...a non dyslexic reader will see that nobody was talking about defense when they used the word mental.

Curry was supposed to hold Harden to 5pts and CP3 to 3pts because he is Bruce Bowen. LOL

Some of the stupid things we have to read.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 1:42pm On May 17, 2018
Just before the playoffs; they won’t get past first round without Curry.

After beating Rockets game one; KD hurt the league.

After game two; KD is no longer hurting the league.

I believe he doesn't need to hide him cos they'll still switch him on Harden. He should just guard Harden from the off and let him iso his ass out.
They don’t need to hide anything. Harden was dropping his buckets on other people as well. That is why I even zoned out from listening to any of those analysts because most of them just rehash the same things or give popular opinion.

Hide Curry this...His bla bla is bla bla. Curry’s issue is mental. Towards the end of the first Q when GSW called a time out Curry shot from 30ft and it splashed. Yet seconds earlier he had missed from 28 without any hand directly on his face.

Like I said, for some reason, he struggles at certain times away. The only reason people are talking about D is because he did not score as well on the other end. If he made 5 of his 8 3s that game goes Warriors way. It is a game of fine margins. Especially away.

You're totally right. I'm also not worried about the series at all even if we split at home.. I just don't like Steph looking like the way he did. The body language wasn't impressive and I saw Draymond screaming at D West when he made a mistake. We played horrible, Curry didn't show up, the refs cooked and it was still hardly a blowout. Not worried at all.
We ain't splitting natta.

We are taking a 3-1 lead back to Houston. Quote me.

Like I said, Curry playing garbage hurts my soul but Bro...Westbrook laughed about his D..then Curry went 30..31 and 36 to win the series in 2016.

I am not worried sam sam. To explain how certain I am, even if we were down by 25 with 1Q to go at Oracle I would still post here that we would win.

If you told us before the series began that we would steal one of their home games we would have accepted it.

SmooshCHN:
Yall had the chefs and their whistle cooking y'all nice dishes in both home games.. I could say it's only fair if we get the same treatment at oracle but nah!! That's too much. Issa Blowout for y'all if they cooked for us too.
Don't mind LilWayne's scammer dad (lol). They were good for their win and we sucked bad. I expected it if I am being honest but I would have preferred a close game loss not a blowout.

But then blowouts helps us because we react better that way. Kerr when asked about our Turnovers said if we play well away..we tend to have many turnovers the following game.

You are talking about players that will be missing their GFs and wives back in Cali. Once we sense we are not going to win a game we usually close shop. That is why I always big up the young celts; because for some reason those ones don't know when to quit.

Abeg calm down cheesy no jinx am. We saw was 2yrs ago. Curry better get less minutes if he's gonna continue this way. Dude is struggling and I feel bad for him. He needs to get in his rhythm asap.
Oga SmooshCHN.

We are not dropping 1 game at the oracle.

The only thing this loss does is develop enough hot takes before game 3.

Before playoffs started I thought everyone claimed home court was key. If we dropped 2 games like the Cavs I would have understood some of the hoopla.

It is basketball tradition to get a split at least before going back home. Is it not Oracle that Curry can close eye and shoot from the logo? People underestimate what playing on home court can do.

I am not in the least worried about Curry. I am sad for him because he is my favorite player but I am not worried.

PJ Tucker and Gordon getting more than 40pts is like Quin Cook and Swaggy P getting such numbers. Fluke something.

Klay 8 Curry 16 in oracle? 2 games in a row. Better chances of seeing snow in Borno.

We split games with San Antonio and Pels so it was only right that we were going to do same with Rockets.

It is going 3-1 back to Houston. Why are people behaving like Rockets are some scrubs especially in their home games? That is what is befuddling to me.

Curry isn't 100% physically or mentally.. Dude needs to just wake up abeg.. Kerr has baby seated him enough. Not every team have the luxury we have.
But Curry had this type of games even against Cavs game 4, Pels game 3, OKC game 3&4 (2016).

It is not unusual that atimes he does not play well away.

This is my assumption. They split oracle. Rockets win 5 and Warriors win 6 and 7 or Warriors in 5
I will eat my hand if we drop a game at the Oracle.

Stop reacting. Curry is 2/13 from 3 in 2 games and PJ Tucker and Gordon were 11/15. LOL.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 5:30am On May 17, 2018
What is it with all these hot take reactionary nonsense I am reading here?

Houston balled. Simple.

KD will always get buckets because he has length and when we are trapped we drop it to him to do something. Nothing special abeg. We dropped a game to the Pels with the same Hampton 5.

I remember saying I hope this game does not play out like the OKC series because we sucked away in that series till game 6.

It was our customary IDGAF game and a good team like Houston deserved it.

We are going to be 3-1 after the 2 home games and Houston may likely pick game 5 where everything ends again at Oracle in game 6. It may end before depending on how we decide to play game 5.

What you mean is "quasi analysis 101" and uhhh...no thanks.
Very rarely did you see any Celts player pound and pound the ball for most of the 24.

You are excusing the ISO heavy basketball now but will use the same brush to censure Harden and Brodie.

LeBron has always been LeBron for better or worse, sometimes he wins and sometimes he doesn't. But the hate he gets from ninnies like you after playing his heart out and losing is revolting.
I almost mistook you for someone who knew basketball.

Your man was pounding (dribbling) the ball for most of the 24 secs then was dishing it out when he had nothing to do, leaving whoever received the pass with no rhythm to make shots.

Lol. I'm glad you checked the dictionary and figured out how to use correctly. Because the last time you used it you said the Cavs won inspire of LeBrons 40 point near triple double in game 7 of the pacers series.

The narrative that he had no help is 100 percent accurate giving when he loses its usually not his fault because he gave it his all. And if it's not him then who is it? Of course it's the supporting cast. He had a forty point triple double and lost in spite of it, how do you blame him for that?

When people talk about Michael people say hes won 6 finals and is perfect in all six. I don't see anyone giving credit to pippen or Rodman or Cartwright or anyone even though his supporting cast was way more proficient than LeBron. The man shot 3/18 and won by 20 in the 1993 ECF darn it, what do you expect would happen to the Cavs if LeBron shot like that?

The feel out game narrative was validated, just like he did after all the previous game 1s he played much better knowing how the other team operates. Granted it didn't result in a win but there were improvements, especially for him.
You lost me at lol.

The fact that you're arguing with this just shows that hate has completely eaten through your inferior brain and I'm afraid there is no worse combination than that.
Lebron is the best player on his roster but he is not good enough to will any team on his own to a win.

Stupidity is not a gift it is a curse. Yesterday Kevin had 22 and 15 but Cavs did not win inspite of (see how it is used again) Bron’s team leading 42/12/10.

He is definitely leading his team and deserves most plaudits but he wins only when they help so the “he has no help” narrative is weak like one quarter of 28 days.

Just like the feel-out narrative was a cop out.

Context IS a subset narrative and the narrative for LeBron was LeBron willed the Cavs to a win I'm the pacers series when his teammates didn't show up. No one has ever come out to say he won the raptors series alone and I was the first to point out how badly he played and how Kevin love stepped up especially in the first game when LeBron was subpar. I gave you multiple links about how LeBrons teammates were praised after you "dared" me to cheesy. But according to you even then pacers series was won "in spite of LeBron" was it not?

Lol! Friggin AutoCorrect. My posts here are filled with spelling mistakes and grammatical blunders I've been trying to clean some of them up but I've already given up because there's way too many of them. I'm just surprised this is the first one you've noticed. cheesy

Lol! I have never seen anyone anywhere spell it that way and even your screenshot showed nothing of the way you spelt it even with all the variations. Hold your L in peace small fry.
You mean context? You mean subset?

Narrative not pre-dominating a context simply means the news about how Bron alone willed the Cavs to a win should not pervade the airspace more than the help he got ...since ...so far...Cavs have won more games than they have lost (8-5) and no he could not win any game in which his mates did not show up.

As for the screenshot, you saw "etc" there and decided to assume it was a closed set?
