ipledge10:Don’t get swooned bruh. They are angry that refs reviewed a call and corrected it (making it the right choice). They preferred that the wrong decision stood. These are the people we are dealing with. Not too long ago, some troll said I complain too much. The same troll came online but kept Mum. He has not seen anything wrong with the preposterousness that we are observing here. Away from that, I need adjustments. We played them as if they were the Rockets which made that game fundamentally closer than it should have been. I know we would do what is required though. |
MoR2:That is Wikipedia and in this case the news is false. Was it not Zidane who signed a new contract last year because the first contract he had was ending last year as well (or end of last season 2016-2017)? Yet he was hired Jan 4 2016 so there is no way he got a 2.5 year contract at the time. It was the extension he got last year that was for 2.5 or 3 years. |
SmooshCHN, you have time really. When I saw people angry that the refs that I berate plenteously were bold enough to revert a bad decision and settle for the right one I knew who I was dealing with. Same people that will be bringing memes of “blame the refs”. My own ire is for the announcing crew and some analysts like Max Kellerman that said on LiveTV that the calls were “lopsided” in favor of GSW. I mean, people still listen to such bile commentary and junk tele-journalism? Now that the dust has settled, I am happy some have seen the pushing with his arms LeBron was doing whilst driving. CP3 does same and it is offensive on him. The other guy does it and he powered his way to the paint. Such tasteless pseudo analysis and gallery playing just emphasizes why IQ tests should be made prior to employment in any professional field TBH. |
I don't support anyone but AtYourCervix makes good points that revisionist knowledge may not let people see. Zidane was not supposed to be long term so it is not like the board could control him. He was supposed to steady the ship and see out the remainder 6 months while Perez found a new Manager but Zidane ended up winning the UCL. So the reality is, that lineup against Barca that RM got walloped 4-0 was strange because everyone knew that was not the team he had used prior. It was clear there was some overarching influence in the team selection and Beni hinted at it after leaving Madrid. (He signed a gag order so could not go full throttle on the exposé). |
These guys read this and concluded that it said nothing about motion even when the rule says the defender NEEDS to ESTABLISH..... ![]() Definition of Need: require (something) because it is essential or very important. Establish: to make secure or permanent in a certain place. Naaah. I can't deal. I just can't.

Nick Wright the greatest LeDouche circlejerker says it is a blocking foul. Nick friggin Wright. If the argument was that they should have never reviewed it all...well..I am just hearing that the 2 refs involved in the play had different opinions. One said block..the other said charge. That is why they reviewed it. Now funny people want to tell us being stationary is only for college basketball when we can bring copious evidence showing that being planted, maintaining a position, beating the offensive player to the spot has always been the rule for establishing a block/charge. Butthurtism sucks. |
No wonder many of them barely finish college. There is dumb...dumber and what you have above. If the rule does not say anything about motion, then why before today have they always established charges/blocks based on who got to what spot first? You can't rationalize stupidity on live TV. Refs said block. Neutral experts said block. Even Skip who said Cavs will steal game 1 said block. Then I am going to take the opinion of a Cavs fan who rooted for and predicted they would win the series in 7? LOL. |
Hill conned the refs. He held unto Klay and pulled him. |
EnigmaticEnigma:Yea, I saw other redditors say that. At the time I thought it was a legit call. |
Manutd19:When the calls did not go our way I did not complain. It is the salty guys on here that made it their life’s work to talk gobbledegook. How in God’s green earth will they still talk about refs when Hill could have made his FTs and they may have won? The cheating Refs gave them 2FTs to win the game. |
And finally, we need Iggy back. That guy cannot drop 40+ again. This should have been a 20pt loss if we restricted him to just 30+. |
Hardetayour:It was close because we were bad in rebounding. Yeesus...they had 18 offensive rebounds. JR even got that rebound after Hill missed that FT. We need to do better. Also, no help D from KD today so Lebron had his way into the paint any how. Only time Bron looked rattled was when McGee guarded him. I get why Kerr took McGee out but sheesh....we need to rebound better. |
SmooshCHN:Funny enough Redditors agree with you. I won’t lie, I thought we escaped one there. But the bad calls went both ways. Lebron even fouled Steph in the 4th that went uncalled. People are just seeing what they want to see. |
Hardetayour:They said it was playoff D that time and that Curry should man up. |
To me, only worthy call was the charge/block that they changed. BUT...Hill had 2FTs with 4.7secs to go and he missed one. Made 2, they may have won. Leave trash for LAWMA. |
What time will I talk about the goal tending and Shove (which Bron should get reprimanded for). When do we address the scratches on Curry’s neck? |
I was here trying to be subtle. Saying that KD was not getting superstar calls in the 2nd and 3rd. Give me a break, Hill and JR fouled him twice that Refs let play on. Bron got all the superstar calls and then some. Granted, he balled and made FTs today. But you could not close down on him because Refs called a foul for it. Meanwhile Steph did James Harden and Wade’s move of selling fouls and the refs unlooked. Someone here said Steph jumped into the defender. Granted, but is that not what they call foul for other players? |
Hardetayour:I mean, if you cannot man up and accept that they made mistakes both ways. I cannot take you seriously. In fact, your perspective is whack! |
That foul they said clean strip on KD from Hill for his 5th. Laughable. That was a foul and was rightly called. Lebron had 1 foul all game. LOL |
donlittle25:There was a 3 they gave to Bron to make it 65-68. Replays showed his right foot scrubbed the line. JVG and Mark felt it should be reduced to a 2. On reviewing it, Refs left it at 3. Nobody here said anything. |
Manutd19:I am replying this quote because the Refs gave Hill 2FTs to put Cavs ahead and win with 4.7s to go. Hill made one and missed the other. JR rebounded and held unto the ball a tad too long before passing to Love who was blocked. And Cavs lost the game after wards. PERIOD. |
donlittle25:He did not shoot well today. It happens. Someone scored 15pts in one game and said it was a feel-out. I would take KDs inefficient 26 easy. |
Refs are cheating but Bron has just one foul when he clearly hit Looney. Refs cheating yet they gave FTs to Hill with 4.7s to go. It was a foul but if they were cheating would they call it? |
So Looney was not fouled |
BarthramLestat:After the game, I would show you times that KD was fouled and the refs did not call. I was saying it here. |
BarthramLestat:Only argument you make is the foul on Lebron should have been on Lance. |
Game 1 is not a feel-out game. So nobody will use it next season. |
whyfy:What does it take for him to get on a roll? |
ipledge10:It is an NBA finals. Y’all should relax. Please. |
6pt lead but good ball movement. A more watchable series than the Rockets one that is for sure. |
Hardetayour:My worry is the lack of superstar calls for KD compared to someone else who gets fouls on any contact. |
