So I'm a graduate of civil engineering, but work as a contract staff in a bank for over 5years with 100k salary.

I bought a functional car which fit into bolt but I'm scared of resigning from my job as I have family responsibilities.

This bank work doesn't give me opportunity to grow with them and time to do other side hustle and I know one day it's either they sack me or I leave.(but one must happen)

Please I need advice if I should still continue this work or start street hustle.

Note: I save the money for this car from salary and side hustle base on what I studied in school.

90% of persons advising you to resign don't have any meaningful job/business
You can start savings or better still invest in cryptos and stocks with 5-10% of your monthly salary.
As for your car, if the distance to work is far, keep your car I don't think it would cost much maintenance as you only drive in the morning and evening then occasionally during weekends
If you have a wife, get her engaged in a descent profitable venture

Some brokers are thief sha. I initiated a trade o. After the spike this afternoon, I noticed that the price went over my TP and it didnt trigger to close the trade. So I just assumed it was an error. I now set SL cos I noticed price was retracting, The price still went below my SL yet wasnt triggered.

Is there something am missing.

it'll be difficult for brokers to initiate any order(TP and SL)
Because volatility of price moves in milliseconds when the NFP and other strong news comes out
So it's better you just close up the trades urself after scooping some pips

The great infofirst, sometime you use to sound like a prophet lol, I guess most of the things you say is base on experience though, the simple strategy I’m using usually gives me a 1:1R, like if I risk 50pips, I can only get 50pips- 70pips on the 4hr time frame, I was doing that and things seems to be okay, but recently my friend whom we started learning to trade the same time uses 10 or 15 pips stop-loss to make that same 50pips, that’s about 1:5r sometimes he uses 5pips stop loss, I’m thinking of abandoning my strategy and learn the way he trades and picks his entries, but it has been really hard for me to do, because he picks entries on the 15 or 5mins chart, sometimes even 1min time frame and that is very hard for me to do, as far as I’m concerned his strategy or method makes a lot of sense because of the RR and for example if takes 7 trades I’m sure he will win 5 out of it which puts him on a very high level of profitability.... what do you advice or suggest I should do at this juncture other people’s tips and advice is also welcomed...

it's simple
Just go to 5 mins or I mins
And you use ur fib level
Or you go to 5-15 minutes time frame and look for reversal patterns
Set ur tp using a higher time frame structure
Then SL use a lower time frame
