On May 14, 2021, David Cohen passed away at his home in Montreal while surrounded by his adoring family. He had defeated cancer several times before but lost this battle at the age of 74. Countless friends, current and former colleagues, even competitors paid their respects to David’s family — because no matter who you are in this space, you cannot deny that David Cohen is a legend. Talk to anyone, anywhere in the world who wants to immigrate to Canada. Chances are they are a little closer to their Canadian dream thanks to David. He was an entrepreneur and immigration lawyer — he would be the first to say he was not a tech guy, but he understood the role technology plays in people’s lives. Initially, David launched CanadaVisa.com to attract new clients to his law firm, Campbell Cohen. Eventually he would offer free online tools that newcomers might need, such as Loon Lounge, which was labelled by the Toronto Star in 2009 as a “Facebook for prospective immigrants”. Today, CanadaVisa has evolved into something greater than a lead generator. It is its own digital ecosphere, where anyone can learn about Canadian immigration and interact with a community of like-minded individuals. It has become more influential than David could have ever imagined.

My friend is currently trying to pay her tuition from Nigeria to her school in Canada, gone to Gtb & Access but to no avail. She has the school link from Flywire payments, but scared she wouldn't be able to transfer the amount of N4.4m with the card? Please, does anyone have an idea or advice on how to navigate this out? Will so much appreciate it.. Thank you! |
Most times, when you guys list these stuffs, you deliberately ignore those jobs that are skilled and requires no classroom education, yet earns and enjoy more than those you put up there? Have you considered how much truck drivers make per trip? most of those guys up there have no social life in spite of the money they make, some of them can seldom be out of the job to do a 2 month vacation and if African like Nigerian, in 5years, dude is yet to be able to visit his home country, can hardly be able to do side hustle and stuffs. Let me just stop here, cos some may not understand what I am talking about. I mean, an ordinary Care-giver loads containers every 2 months to Naija, same Doctor will be begging to put stuffs inside the container onward Nigeria. |
This OP is a sadist and a very very pessimistic personality. It is this bad the way you portray it, yet, you are still there, and obviously trying to raise a life there |
Yeah, surely, Netflix will but you know the rave about new stuffs . I finished the film, quite interesting but not comparable to the part one of it we all watched years ago. That one had so much suspense and thrills that America itself was a big delight to many of us, and we dreamt of it . Maybe because we have now entered and we don see America finish . no much vibes again.WoundedLamb:
