Bank Manager: First of all, nothing beats studying what you're passionate about..
Though you were given Agriculture,i will advice you pursue your medical aspiration..MBBS is among the best courses to study in Nigeria.
With the reforms going on in the medical profession presently,u never can tell,u can be the "SURGEON GENERAL of THE FEDERATION TOMORROW.."Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage.. Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless..
Above all, forfetting your admission in Usman Dan Fodio University should NEVER be done.. So,my advice is this:
To be on a safer side,ACCEPT your admission in UDFU,take the NEXT JAMB coming up in April(Just 3months from now)..
Work very hard.Put God along.Avoid unncessary distractions.Get the right materials/textbooks..
If you can adhere strictly to this little piece of advice,i can guarantee you that come next session, you will be a MEDICAL student..Impossibilty is nothing. The most difficult thing is the decision to act,the rest is merely tenancy.."If your ship doesn't come in,swim out to meet it"...
Forget those years of been denied admission in the east. The past is a ghost. The future a dream. All we have is now..
I have seen many guys who did this in UNIBEN and ended up being SUCCESSFUL..
Follow your passion.Go confidently in the direction of your dream.Live the life that you have imagined..!!! |

Follow your passion.Go confidently in the direction of your dream.Live the life that you have imagined..!!! bro u speak with wisdom @ op its nt easy takin som decisions such as the one before you now. Ur "passion" wil not alow u concentrate on your agric unless maybe you eventualy fal in love wit d agric...i wrote jamb 5 times aplying udus 3yearz consecutively b4 finaly geting medicine dis year in the usman don fodiyo uni( pume 80 and jamb 261), its wasn't realy easy. my pasion for medicine wont just alow me concentrate on my BIOCHEM( 200level ABU zaria). I wil advise you to go for the agric. You can take jamb again while in agric or buy change of course form during registratn and opt for medlab or pharmacy. If u REALY REALY have pasion for medicine and u are convinced within urself that u realy wana study it, i wouldnt advise to settle for anything diferent |

I'm not sure your utter stupidity and immaturity can be healed tho na wa o. If not for this boko haram wahala in the north, northern unis would av been the best place to scul. U nid to com to UDU sokoto and see structures, white lecturers, c their classes, hostels, teachin hospital, its wow! visit uni jos, bayero uni and see thearters, teaching hospitals and laboratories. I haven't even mention their overall 'father' ABU ZARIA, come to ABU and see labs, see structures e.g the bamuda triangle of vet medicine, c senate building, hostels( suleiman hall, d largest hostel in west africa) see modern boards, profesors over floading. Hmmm come to UNIMAID and c structures, lecturers and profs. I dnt want to talk about their teaching hospital and 'titanic' hostel. The land mass of the smallest university here in the north is like 5 uniben combined plus 2 unilag( i know its not by land mass, but thats just the truth).. |

these ASUU people ar just so dull..dy dnt even knw wats hapenin. "the goverment cant sack a lecture.. bla bla bla"Ya, the goverment cant sack u quite alright bt your school authorities can. I think that is why the government used the vc and pro-chancelors to issue out the order. ASUU themselves knw they ar not united anymore but they wouldnt just admit that in front of the press and media. In all their statement in press regarding their conditions issued to d government, they av neva made mention of d payment of the salary and i think thats the major condition that pushed the government to the wall. Why is ASUU hiding that one from the press? Yes, ASUU started a just struggle but they derailed along the line. My question is: shud d government ultiamatum works and lecturers resume work and evrything comes back to normal, wil the government stil fulfil its promises( thats if it intended to before) discussed in the 13 hours meeting? |

Harrisonn: from the archive:
How is that Prof Festus Iyayi failed to discern that what is going on is not the normal ASUU strike that usually engages his attention.
The truth is that what is going on is a political action initiated by the born-to-ruin Northern Muslim Hausa-Fulani and its sole objective is the restoration of Presidential Powers to the born-to-rule Northern Muslim Hausa-Fulani on or before 2015.
Attached to this sole objective is the expectation that the strike will help bring down the government of President Goodluck Jonathan.
The ASUU strike plot was conceived and hatched in Kano.
So many Northern Muslim Hausa-Fulani top shots including a well known top business man from Kano participated actively in putting the plot together.
They include Dr Nassir Fagge, an indigene of Kano State and the current President of ASUU. He is also an active member of the Northern Elders Forum led by his mentor Prof Ango Abdullahi.
Others who are masterminds of the unprovoked wicked and unjust plot include Dr Junaid Mohammed, Governor Rabiu Kwankwanso, Governor Aliyu Wammako, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwaal, Mallam Nasir El Rufai, Prof Attahiru Jega, Prof Ango Abdullahi, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Mallam Shehu Sani, Alhaji Lawal Kaita, Senator Bukola Saraki and many others.
Update: Further investigations have revealed the involvement of Governor Sule Lamido in the ASUU strike plot. In fact, it was Governor Sule Lamido that recruited the sacked former Minister of Education Prof/Mrs Ruqayat Rufai into the plot
The outsiders recruited into the plot who also provided funding include Bola Tinubu, Governors Rauf Aregbesola, Babatunde Fashola, Rotimi Amaechi, Adams Oshiomhole, Rochas Okorocha, and many others.
Those whose names are not mentioned here should not think that they have escaped discovery. All those involved in the plot are well known and documented.
6. Why did they not hold the ASUU executive meeting in Abuja or any other neutral place? Why hold the meeting in Kano?
ANSWER:
The meeting needs to hold in a place where the die-hard Northern Muslim Hausa-Fulani who set up the plot can exert maximum influence on the final outcome of the meeting and Kano is indeed the “right” place. hmmmm... INCREDIBLE.. |
