Frankrobbn1: You can apply with the passport you've with you on the account that its validity is more than six (6) months. Aside this, I would suggest you renew your passport before applying for study permit to Canada.
It will end in praise The current one expires June 2022 Thank you. |

Frankrobbn1: Police character certificate is relevant to your study permit application. You may want to exclude it from your supporting documents.
It will end in praise Apparently my passport is not ready and will take a while because of my NIN. I want to apply with the current passport I have. Can I use the police character certificate in this case? Also will I be able to raise a webform and send in the new passport when it's eventually ready? |

Somebody please help with this Esmeob: Hello guys
I asked this question before but I just want to clarify. My brother and I are applying for study permit together. He is doing a one year masters program at Queen's University while is I am doing a 4 year undergraduate program at University of Lethbridge.
My parents are sponsoring the both of us. For his proof of funds, we want to use only my dad as his sponsor. For my own proof of funds, we will use majorly my mum as sponsor but also add my dad's pension account certificate.
My question is should my brother pay his tuition fee before his application? His tuition Deposit was $1500, shouldn't that be enough to show commitment?
Also can we submit our applications at the same time?
Or what can we do so that we do not run into problems? |

Please can I use a conditional letter of acceptance to apply for my study permit?
The condition on my LOA is that I submit my official documents from my former post secondary school. I have already applied for it but they've not sent it yet.
What can I do? |

Thank you so much JustMellow: Hello Esmeob,
Considering you both are using parents sponsorship, that alone is a step in the right direction.
Anybody can sponsor certain people or group of people if the financial stength is rigidly unshaked. In the absence of this, it will make better sense, if one person is sponsored first.
In a case like this, it is only right if both sponsor makes a commitment to pay either the first semester or full year tuition. Then, the LE expenses will be demonstrate likewise for the subsequent year for your brother.
I don't know why your brother is going for UG program, but due to the cost implication attached to UG study in Canada, the sponsor must have a good inflow and reliable source of income in order to best demonstrate to the VO the capability to meet the cost for the subsequent year.
For your brother, it makes more sense if his sponsor can pay the full 1year tuition. Upon receiving the renewed PP, you can decide to notify IRCC or wait until PPR where you can submit the renewed PP.
Best of Luck |
