Religion / Re: Biblically, Should Women Preach Or Pastor Inside The Church? by espeeroke: 9:32am On Apr 21, 2019
In my own view, women are fundamentally meant for a supportive role according to the scripture. But, what we have today is a stark deviation. God knows the strength and weaknesses of both man and woman? I never stop to ask myself, Jesus chose 12, 3, 72 disciples, why was there no single woman among them?

Everything has been divinely arranged but in our human wisdom we have engaged in altaring the order. This is not gender biasedness.

As for me, I cannot attend a Church pastored by a woman. That is personal to me.

Happy Easter to all of us here.

Jesus is the Way, The Truth and Life.... God bless

Show me what you mean by abject poverty? 85% of Nigerians live in poverty yet we represent highest numbers of internet subscribers in Africa(111 million), yet we represent top 10 GDP in Africa. Even the most credible of sources can only say 50% of Nigerians live in poverty yet you think you are smarter than them? Keep deceiving yourself, unless you're an almajiri or living in the village somewhere, you are not in abject poverty, you've got a phone, you buy data. Abeg go sit down grin grin grin

https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/26/africa/nigeria-overtakes-india-extreme-poverty-intl/index.html

You must be very dumb to relate internet subscription to poverty rate. So, by your logic, "he who subscribes to internet is not poor'. Funny! I doubt if you know the heck about what" poverty " is. Moreover, the GDP tells nothing about poverty rate, I can see you don't know that. Poverty rate pertains to the living situation of the people within a certain economy.

I can see, what you need is tutorial so as not to further keep exposing your ignorance.

Poverty capital of the world yet you have money to subscribe and type on Nairaland? LMAO.....Nigeria is not poor, it's just corrupt....Money dey, are you brave enough to grab it?

You must be living in false reality. Hope you can relate with the fact that over 85% Nigerians are living in abject poverty, and again that Nigeria is 6th in the top log of world misery index thanks to the cluelessness of Buharig.

And, again may you know that when the key requirement to make money is 'bravery', then you can tell there is appalling misery . May God punish Buharig, the bringer of misery. Let somebody say Aaaaamen!

On reclaiming the stolen mandate we stand.

Who will help us tell Buhari that rigging election is a grand corruption. There is a large similarity between Evans, the Kidnapper and Buhari, the tyrant. Both lack human feeling and will armtwist, and use foul means to achieve their aim.

The useless man claims he has stayed longer than any other leader (yes thats true) but look at where we are today. It means he had all the time, resources and opportunity but did nothing and now he is upset with someone (PMB) because he does not do as he (Obj) pleases. Abeg this man should find a space at the home for old people.

Ask yourself why Saraki decided to be paying local government staff from his personal account.

Saraki has grounded the finances of Kwara state with his greediness and his houseboy, Fatai is helpless.

I'm happy Saraki lost with all his cohorts including Obasanjo.

They played the role solely reserved for God hence they were consumed.

Who told you all these lies? So, to your reasoning, anybody that dare to challenge the tyrant Buhari is "playing God"? There is something about these Buharist....

And, how did Obasanjo loose out? To us, it is a victory for him. It is not about the rigger who rigged his way to victory, but the voices that exposed his incompetence and unbecoming acts.

PMB remains a disaster to Nigeria democracy, and nothing can change that, history won't be kind to him. Truncated a growing democracy through coup in 1983, and setback the democratic stride he was the sole beneficiary in 2015 by conducting the worst election in recent time.
Politics / Re: 2000 PDP Members Defect To APC In Kwara Ahead Of Governorship Election by espeeroke: 10:09pm On Mar 03, 2019
What I can see in Kwara is, they are being hoodwinked with the fact that Saraki is behind every misery confronting them, and Abdulrazak will come with a new lease of life forgetting that, for instance the share of revenue to Kwara this month is just paltry 3.2billon, with salary taking close to 3 billion Naira. Meagre IGR as a result of few industrial presence in Kwara is another factor. Saraki should even be praised for some of his initiative, but people don't know what they have till they loose it.

My message for Saraki is, let him relax, 2 years on, his real value will show and then people will come to appreciate him when the present crop will continue to mess up.

I know zombies will come hard against this. But, I understand their brains are only configured for a shallow and here-and-now thinking.

Even in defeat, Saraki remains an enigma.... #Respect
