Actually the battery is new, the problem started with the followcome battery which later turned my PC into a desktop and as for the charger, I tried using my neighbour's charger but I experienced thesame thing.
However, as u suggested I'll see a technician to check the charging IC and the charging port.
I'm thinking of selling it but I doubt if anyone will pay very well with this problem.

Fixing the charging IC won't cost too much(depends on your bargaining power).
I'll suggest you fix it first before selling it off. Be sure to give a right-thinking technician so he doesn't compound the little issue.
On another thought, you can sell it off without fixing the IC if the PC falls within the range of core i5 and core i7. You can still make a good deal(depends on your negotiating power).

My PC is giving me headache. It charges and stops after 5 minutes, for it to charge again I'll have to unplug and wait after like 10minutes before it will continue charging again. It continues in this pattern until it's fully charged
Please, is there anyone here with idea on what the pblm is and what I should do to get it fixed.

As earlier advised, you may need to replace the battery......but before doing that try sourcing for another charger to test if it isn't the charger that's faulty.
If after replacing the battery it still gives the same issue, get a technician to check the charging port and charging IC.
