Thank God ur persistence paid off. Although sm mothers will tell u 6month EBF is gud but most times d baby find it difficult adjusting to anoda food aside breast milk, dats wat I'm facing now. Luckily for my lo I'm a stay-at-home mom for now. I'm goin to tap in2 ur presistence till she finally gives in. Motherhood no easy oooo!

My sista persistence paid off. He still wudnt tk bottle but he took spoon later on. He couldn't finish d 180ml he's supposed to, took about 100ml. I'll start him on solid once he's 4mnths. I can't help but think what will happen if I do ebf for 6mnths, he ll really have a difficult time adjusting.

We r in d same boat ooo! Its rily frustrating jare!! My lo finally agreed to gerber rice cereal afta trying different foods. After a while she jst stopped taking it, if I shud force it in ha mouth she will spit out. I dnt hv any choice rite now dan breastmilk

Yes, d tip is like dat of a nipple but babies still hv sense to differentiate it loling.....

My lo took his last some weeks after 3mths and we are scheduled to come back by 6mths but a friend just told me now that there isnt for 6mths but till 9mths. Pls how true is this or was it a mistake made from my hospital?

Pls my 7month old lo is down wit serious catarrh nd cough. D cough is disturbing up to d point of making ha throw up nd nose is smtimes blocked. I've bin giving piriton nd vit c but haven't seen any improvement. I used d aforementioned sometime ago wen she had it nd it was very effective.
I've dropped a little of silverbird in2 warm to massage ha chest nd put close to ha nose to inhale all to no avail.

My son is chief of vomiting drugs. This is what I do. I have a beaker where I put all the drugs he's supposed to take eg, if he's to take 5mls of paracetamol, 10mls of capquine and 5 mls of amoxylin. I put all in the beaker, then use the small cup that comes with the drugs to give him the concoctionin little bits.
I'll 1st give him 5mls, wait for about 10 to 15 minutes, give him another 5mls, wait for 10 mins and keep giving him till I'm done. After that, I wait for an hour or two, before feeding him.
I forgot to mention, I give him drugs 2 hours after his meal, so that his stomach will be near empty and even if he tries vomiting, nothing will come out.
No matter what I'm treating, I often add vit c, to sweeten the mix.
Oh, he's 4.

What I do is put the spoon inside his mouth till he swallows the medicine, then I remove it and carry him on my shoulder. Sometimes, I press his cheeks with my 2 fingers, and pour the medicine inside his mouth not his throat o. I only remove my hands when he has swallow the medicine. I'm always careful with it o. I no dey for my Yam no done



He refused to eat,so I left him hungry for days o. I was giving him water and glucose. When his temperature refused to come down after the 3rd day, I took him to the hospital. He was given malaria drugs.

He is teething presently[upper teeth] but no temperature.

Mehn, it's not easy oo. The first day, I didn't sleep till 5 am.
If his temperature is too high, use wet clothes and place on his body.

Sori abt ur lo. U can use piriton, its very effective

kk. I think their are other hair shampoo like that with ketoconozale component. ask ur pharmacist about them and if u can use dem for ur baby.

Tnx @Mzora for askin, I apr8. I cudnt get d nizzoral shampoo. I put olive oil nd was able to comb out d crust, I mixed ori nd baby tribotan nd applied to d affected part. So far it luks like its going to work pending wen I get d shampoo.

The front hair chopped off. my baby had ela thou. started using d nizzoral shampoo and ketoconozale cream(spelling pls) and dre has been great improvement. infact d front hair have started growing again thou still very short. wanted to cut it bt my baby is still small (wuld be 3 months dis wk)won't want to hurt her tender scalp.also u can apply ori/coconut oil to help with d growth.

I think you should give the hair a clean chop, as in shave it all off and start afresh. Nizoral shampoo may also help in curing* whatever is chopping the hair off in the 1st place. Apply shea butter daily thereafter and it will pick gradually.

My 7month lo crown hair is rily chopping nd pulling off. My frnd suggested "agbo" which I used nd landed me in d hosp nd I shared dat horrible experience, I vowed neva to use it again!

Ha frontal hair is bald nd further down d scalp is crusted nd wen I put olive oil to soften so I can comb it out, ha hair pulls out instead of d crust. Pls wat can I use to solve dis wahala once nd for all?

Hello Suzyt, I'm jst curious to know if ur tummy went down considering d fact u did CS. My lo is 7months nd my tummy has refused to go down, I still luk 6months preggy.

I totally agree!!! Pls stay away from herbal remedies (agbo) for ur los. I used agbo for elaa for my almost 7month lo at 2k nd landed in hosp wit 22,700. D infection in ha blood was extremely high! Thank God I took ha to d hosp in time, it wud hv bin a different case (God 4bid)!

I've learnt a very BIG lesson!!!

I would advise u that better don't simply try try all la.... Last time my son went in hospital because all those traditional herbs remedies! my SIL la! simply ask my MIL give her try all these nonsense! Btw, I would advise u all better seek for proper medical advises 1st before trying.

Coatem is well tolerated, at least to me. It was prescribed wen I jst had my lo in oct last year cos I came down wit malaria nd I took it again early apr last month.
I pointed out wat u raised to d doc nd e told me to still tk it nd my lo didn't react to it.

Its not always easy putting it in their eyes but u jst hv to try wit patience. Pls mk sure ur hands r clean, then put ur nipples close to d eyes nd press d milk inside it. U can do it 3x in a day nd u will see a clear result.

Yes, you can use any type as long as it is extra virgin olive oil.

Breastmilk works wonders! It really worked for my lo

Please I noticed my baby's eye is not clear white. I have heard of women putting breast milk in the eye to brightten it. Please is it right? Does it work? What can I do?

I don't have exact measurement for the olive oil o . Two egg yolks and I pour in a little olive oil.I rub the mixture into my LO's hair(unwashed hair)wait 20 min and take him for a bath. Wash off thoroughly. My LO is a boy but I want to keep his afro hair soft and bouncy. I also do the same for my own hair...it works wonders.

There should be directions on the pack/bottle I guess...but most are to be used within 24-48hrs, and refrigerated.
