Sori dear, u jst hv to b patient nd pray on it. Did I say pray on it! Yes pray on it cost it worked for me (woo I cry pass u). My DD was EBF nd refused different baby food nd pap I tried, even adult food.
Ha weight was so low at 9months dat I was ashamed of myself wen I went for immunization wen d nurses shook their heads. It was d paed at "ask d paediatrician" on facebook dat gave me d push. Dat nite I cried to God nd voila d nxt day my DD started eating adult food till date, she still rejected baby food which is even a blessing in disguise sef.

my daughter is 6 months now so I just started her on pap, it has not been easy getting her to eat. in fact I'm so down right now....she will turn get distracted,cry,shake in fact I'm tired... neva knew taking of a baby was dis hectic....*crying* ftm

Tnx @liliana, u r rite abt d sudocrem, cos it was wen I applied it dat it got worse. Luckily d sebamed cream I used is peeling it off jst few days afta use. I use johnson baby soap, now I will change to sebamed baby soap (God will provide d moni) or d oilatum u said.

Please dear, stop using sudocream. Sudocream is specially formulated for nappy rash and I think it's what is aggravating the issue. It seems to me you have dried out her skin. If you have access to double base gel,you could try using it as it would protect the skin with layers while moisturising it. Then if you use soap to bath her stop using it ( soap sometimes dries out babies skin). Look for an emollient, like oilatum and use instead. It would take time, but it should work.

If it is going and coming back then it might be a fungal infection. I suggest you guys check it out at the hospital.
My opinion though.

pls take her to see a pead, its a skin rxn prob viral infection. Its hard to treat n dosent go on time except with its adequate meds n some changes in her toiletries. Its well dear.

my baby used to have it. There was a time it was so bad. older women told me she was trying to grow a new skin. but she kept having it. I changed to aveeno, but it still comes though reduced. then I got E45 baby cream. basically, I was told to moisturize her skin always. she has outgrown it now. its been a while she had it.

My DD did same from 1month nd I was worried at 1st but later stopped, didn't even know wen she stopped it nd she's 10month old now. She will outgrow it.

Zinc tablet is used to normalise stooling in infants based on my experience wit it nd my daughter took it wen she was 7months, oda sabi mamas can tell if a 4month can tk it (I'm still a learner oo loling..)

U hv to gv d zinc tablet (1 tab) for 10days nd it will definitely normalise. D same thing happened to me, d doc told me to gv my lo d zinc tablet for 10days.

pls mamas my baby is teething and have been stooling a lot. I have given her zinc tablet to reduce the stool. I read from this forum not to give teething mixtures but to give sterilized teething rings which I did. Don't know what to do to stop the everyday stooling.@proudmum38 my mum didn't let me take soft drinks,malt,too much sugary stuff so that baby would purge.

I had dis kind of slp smtime too nd d nxt thing was a loud thud nd cry dat had me cussing d slp, my lo was on d floor from d bed.

And so yesterday afternoon I was feeling sleepy,(as person wey don chop bellefull) I carried my baby to the bed. I tried forcing him to sleep he refused, he was just playing and holding the window.

I noticed the way he positioned his bum bum so I knew he was pooing. my intention was poo quick so can change you before I sleep.

Before then, I checked my phone that I was charging on the bed it was 98%, i told myself it will be fully charged by the time I'm done changing him.

The next thing was a shout abi cry from my baby, I opened my eyes, I realised I had slept off. I looked at him and wondered why he was crying profusely. Then, I noticed my phone wasn't plugged to the charging port again. I deduced that he put the cord in his mouth and he was shocked.

Even the cord's mouth was burnt(black) and didn't work again

So I want to thank God that nothing happened to him.

Mothers pls let us be very careful oo.

Don't know what you mean by cold and hot weather?. Use a digital thermometer to read the temp. Up to 37.5 is okay. Anything higher than that please tepid sponge, and wear a light cloth for her.

@Rashomo, she already has 2 lower teeth at 6month loling. She started cutting d 1st upper tooth at 8month which has finally emerged fully at 9months. I believe its d 2nd upper tooth dat wants to cut tru now.

I jst don't like teething periods, wish it will jst b painless *smile*

Esteria, if d temp is vry hot do tepid sponging. Use warm water and towel to kip cleaning her body head face and all. Does ur baby hv teeth yet. Most come wit malaria and infections.
All d same pls stop crying and tk ur baby to d clinic.I cn relate wit ur fears, whn mine hapnd last month in d middle of d nite. B4 7am I don reach hospital. I no fit shout na my first time oo.

If u can get that red flpwer,I don't know whether you know it. Its common all around. I would boil every morning and use the water to wash her hair. I discovered also that sudocream worked better than baby tribotan for her. I might sound silly;but I also prayyyyed seriously dt God should arrest it and its history 2day.

I buy from tripple A baby store in Garki market or pharmacare in games village.
For ur baby's hair,I learnt from ds thread to wash dr hair not more than twice a week with baby shampoo,den to apply kiddies conditioner and to be applying shea butter.
Its been working real well for us. My DD's hair dt eela had almost finished is now so full,curly n bouncy.
Thanks to bossladymo,cos she was d one dt gave d advise here. I've been silently learning loads of stuff here for like a year plus now!

Pls ooo I've com again nd will not rest until I find a lasting solution to dis nagging prob. Its concerning my lo's chopped hair nd bald head, I cudnt get d nizzoral shampoo nor its active component in oda baby shampoos. I tried using tribotan mixed wit ori, nd it kinda gave me hope it will work but it didn't. I noticed ystaday dat its spreading nd I can't cut ha hair now, apart from d fact dat I want ha to use for it for ha BD in oct, d weather is too cold for a hairless scalp.

Pls all shud com to my aid, anything I cud readily find to stop dis will b highly appreciated.
