Planting and pre emergence herbicide application done.... Planting was done at 2 seeds per hole, 25 cm inter row and 75cm between ridges... No seed wastage.... From our seed count, we got 4400 seeds in 1kg... So we are expecting 17,600 stands if all this wild birds no do anyhow

Ridging commenced today, as some workers source for viable TME 419 stems prior to planting

Ploughing I ongoing prior to ridging. Reason for Ploughing before ridging is to have a soft seedbed for the stem to yield. Targeted tonne per hectare is 20.
