Family / Re: How Did You Know Your Partner Was 'The One' ?? by esummer: 9:11am On Sep 06, 2012
A Friend's experience:

While praying about her future hubby she told God she wanted a sign to know the 'right one'; the sign was a finger of banana...the guy should give her a finger from a bunch of banana.
One fateful evening (years later), on her way back from work a reckless driver ran into her (Dad's) car, was a slight scratch though. After some verbal vendetta, they both drove down to the guy's panel-beater to fix her car.
She then crossed to the other side of the road, to a shop and sat down. There was this banana seller passing by, the guy bought some, plucked out a finger from what he bought and asked the girl to take it to the lady in the shop. That was it!!! After much initial hostilities from her side, they are happily married now.
Was also the case of the biblical Isaac; ...the lady to give water to the flock and shepherd...
But from me: listen to God, then your instincts; these are the two most important parties in a successful marriage.

He understands. He's simply saying there has never been a basis for a woman changing her name after marriage. I think he advocates a woman completely retaining her name after marriage and not taking on her husband's. I stand to be corrected though.[/quote/]

think it makes more sense now. #$p£||¡^g problems#

Ibrahim mr fish: It is a very good idia, and i support it.Why most women use their husband's name as their own?I never really understand the reason behinde it. Their father name is much better.

marriage should be about love and bliss, never knew d poster was trying to rejuvenate slavery. #duh#
what d Bible stressed was d man leaving his family, but d woman actually is d one who does that. isn't it enough for her to leave her everything, even when she has her father's name on her certificate to bear children in her body who end up answering the man's name? pls poster give some respect to ur future father inlaw. besides I don't see myself having an influential dad and dropping his name for urs.

Crime / Re: How We Killed Cynthia Osukogu — Suspects (Pix) by esummer: 7:13am On Aug 24, 2012
So what's the point taking them to court and being addressed as suspects; they're just going to waste judicial time. This requires slow death with pains inflicted...the he who kills by the gun syndrome... Another pretty girl is gone. Pity on the deceased, lesson to the living- Never get behind closed doors with friendly strangers.
Politics / Re: Enugu Will Become An Oil-producing State Soon by esummer: 12:29am On Aug 24, 2012
Some people are just being unnecessarily ethnocentric on this topic, and I'm sure that wasn't the author's intent. This forum is not an avenue for people to expose their ignorance and complexes, but to appreciate our unified diversity; hence nairaland not Iboland or southwestland or any dam**dland. Every State has it's own way of contributing to our national growth so what's the point of the verbal brutality. I love the cows and fresh fruits and vegetables from the North, and there is no sweeter yam than that from Benue: I love the Benin palm oil just like the cassava and rice from the East. No better cocoa than that from the Southwest nor can the Chinese cuisine beat the Efik/Ibibio Afang Soup...(you can as well think of and add your own input)... Wherever and however, our nationality is still Nigeria. Besides, the oil revenue generated is used for national ends and doesn't guarantee free fuel in the State indigenes' vehicles.
Please, toddlers on this forum should grow up; and FAST.

jude33084: She looks like house girl tongue

...and some men still sleep with and get their house girls pregnant. I'm sure you would be fast to flaunt her if she agrees to go on a platonic date with you, talk more of a relationship.

even like this, she's still much prettier than most girls on make up, including the 'commentators'. it's a movie scene and she was even made up to end up this way.
Ugly or not, she's such a big deal to make a post, so screw the haters.
