I wanted to withdraw my fiverr funds ($191) through PayPal, so I contacted this thief by nairaland monitor "newsloaded". After negotiations on the rate, I gave him my email to add to his paypal and the withdrawal was made on Sunday (12:14 pm). Since them he has refused to pay me the naira equivalent based on the agreed rate of #310/$1. Below are some of his details (If true);

My own is how to reach PayPal.

The nairalander by moniker "Newsloaded" has refused to pay me the naira equivalent of fiverr funds I sent to him via Paypal. I withdrew the sum of $191 from my fiverr account through his Paypal account. His Paypal account name is Godspower Ekwevugbe, for more than 8 hours now he has refused to pay me the naira equivalent, claiming that his boss needs to confirm the payment but that the said boss is yet to come online, now if I call him he will say his working and immediately ends my call. Anyone who knows how I can relate with Paypal, please let me know.

The car is yet to arrive, it's still undergoing custom clearance in the US. I did extensive research to get the choice car (2011 Hyundai sonata), its accidented (rear light and bumper), however I did extensive analysis of the VIN and discovered ii hasn't had much issues. I bought it for $1650 through live auction, and I hope it will get to Nigeria in 3 weeks time.

Meanwhile, I wasn't deported. But that doesn't mean that I won't be deported some day.

Now, as to fiverr blocking Nigerians totally from the platform, I doubt that is ever going to happen. One thing you don't know is that people from third world countries are actually the ones rending the most services on these freelancing platforms. And Nigerians still constitute the highest number.

Even on upwork, people from third world are the highest sellers. Only few Americans sell services on these freelancing websites. So, I doubt fiverr is going to totally blacklist Nigeria. But that doesn't mean that Nigerians shouldn't be careful though.
