"Below are known four Nigerians who have died of the disease at home and abroad.
1. Suleiman Achimugu
A former managing director of the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC), Suleiman Achimugu, on March 23 became the first person to die of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The 67-year-old UK returnee, who is a native of Kogi State, died at the Specialist Hospital, Gwagwalada, FCT.
2. Bassey Offiong
Bassey Offiong died of the coronavirus in the United States on March 28.
The 25-year-old was to graduate with a chemical engineering degree from Western Michigan University before his demise.
3. Alfa Sa’adu
A doctor of Nigerian origin resident in the United Kingdom, Alfa Sa’adu, died of the coronavirus on March 31.

There are others who have died of the coronavirus in Nigeria although their names are not known. One of them is the case of the first person to die of the virus in Lagos State on April 3 – a 55-year-old man who recently returned from The Netherlands." Stop giving me the long Epistle, we are taking about the 4 casualties here in Nigeria. |

belzabull: I didnt say he died in nigeria, but the US
So why is the unproffesional report making it sound like the deaths were recoreded in nigeria?
NB: and where did you get this your own list from? NCDC stated it from their yesterday report. 2 deaths, 1 from Lagos(The LUTH guy) then one from Edo |
Health › Re: 4 Nigerians Who Have Died Of Coronavirus (photos) by etibaba(m): 6:32pm On Apr 04, 2020 |
majamajic: The topic said Nigerians not that died in Nigeria , note the difference I know the difference, the headline said "4 Nigerians who have died " that's a misleading headline cos it simply means the 4 Nigerians who died of the virus. Not telling us about those that died abroad, if that's the case we have over 10 Nigerians that have died abroad from Corona complication. |

NCDC is doing a good job, I understand there aren't enough testing kit but I don't think this testing should be limited to just returnees or close contact with returnees, some people are showing serious signs of Covid-19 yet they are told to just seat back and isolate themselves since they didn't return to the country recently. |
